This is a fully outfitted gift shop with lots of little souvenirs, clothing, and candy. The service here was incredible. There were several people helping us find things and telling us about what things were in the different sections of the store. One extra helpful lady helped clarify shirt sizing before we made a mistake (women's cut vs unisex)! I wish they had more stuff exclusively made in Canada, and I wish they had a larger selection of maple candy brands (specifically more with just maple instead of dubious "flavoring"). The value seemed on par with what I would expect from a gift shop downtown. Nothing felt too too overpriced. read more

Great shop for souvenirs! I'd say Grand Maple Gifts has just a bit more food selection compared to other souvenir shops I've come across in Vancouver-- for example, the Maple Terrior stroopwafels that come in 5 different flavors! These were very unique and tasty. The service here is top notch. It's family run and they're very friendly, welcoming, and can provide suggestions and answer any questions. Open daily 11 AM to 7 PM. I highly recommend visiting Grand Maple Gifts for your souvenir needs. read more

I walked in just after they opened on a Sunday and was greeted in by the elderly owners. As I was selecting various souvenirs, the owner offered me a basket (which I found to be very kind). When I had a couple questions about their recommendation for maple syrup, the owner showed me the options and explained the variations in color and taste. The owners are very personable here, and the items are reasonably priced. If you're in town on vacation, I'd highly recommend stopping by! read more

Came in here looking for souvenirs.. and I left the store with so much more, staff is super helpful and informative.. taught me about the varieties in their maple syrups, then as I paid I wanted to exchange US money for Canadian, so they did that for me but to my surprise the store owner gave me collectible coins that he informed me were the last of Queen Elizabeth and another which is their "new" coin of Prince Charles.. I was at wow!!! Too awesome!! read more

One of the better souvenir shops in Vancouver. I was looking for maple leaf cookies as gifts and this shop has a good variety of them. The staff at the store was pretty friendly. One of them was really encouraging me to buy things, so if you go here you might feel guilt-tripped especially if you end up not buying anything lol. The guy who was helping me seemed genuinely happy/excited when he saw that I was actually buying stuff lol. read more

Honestly a great souvenir shop in the Vancouver area! My boyfriend and I was here on our last day trying to buy souvenirs and the store owner I believe helped us out so much and was very accommodating to us! The shop has been there for over 30 years and it's mind boggling how much souvenirs they have! They have great selections of the wild salmon and maple syrup items! As well, huge selection of clothing items and other apparels! I want to thank you so much for helping us! read more

Purchases souvenirs for back home and the employees or owners were very kind. Would def recommend to purchase gifts here

Great stop to buy souvenirs! We dropped by on Saturday, January 16th and Sunday, January 17th to pick up a few items. The roommate bought a couple things for his nephew. A cute angry moose shirt and a moose beanie and glove set. I'm not sure what item was priced what since they take off the price stickers before they bag your items. From the receipt, one of the items labeled souvenir was $13.99 and the other labeled kids wear was $11.99. I always buy an "I heart whatever city I'm in" t-shirt whenever we travel. It has to be black and a men's size small. I found one here for $17.99, but I thought that was on the expensive side and decided to shop around. Turns out, I couldn't find another shop that sold the shirt, so I came back for it the next day. Great for souvenirs if you're staying in the area. The people that helped us out and rung us up were also very sweet. Note: There are no refunds, so make sure you want what you're buying. They do exchanges within 3 days if you have the receipt and items are still in their original condition. Food items are excluded. read more

I don't really do non food reviews but I just wanted to give a shout out because it seems like a Japanese family owned business with Japanese tourist. What stood out here for me were some of the indigenous pieces and I bought two stylized espresso cups. Of course it's souvenir quality but thought it was worth mentioning. read more

Located on Robson Street, Grand Maple Gifts was one of the best shops I visited in Vancouver. The staff are super friendly and helpful. As a tourist, I wasn't sure what to buy but the staff pointed me in the right direction. There's a nice mix of items in the store, from clothing to food. I bought a bunch of maple leaf cookies, and some salmon jerky. If you're lost on what souvenirs to bring back from Vancouver, this is the go-to store. read more

They got really nice t-shirt designs. Not your typical gaudy, loose fitting shirts. I'll upload a photo when I get a chance but my sister and I both bought a fitted gray V-neck t shirt with a maple leaf and the words Vancouver, Canada in maroon and white ($19.99 CAD each). She also bought a similar color scheme shirt for her boyfriend ($17.99 CAD). They also sell your typical magnets, keychains, Canada maple bottles, snacks and cookies and other novelty items. The workers here are friendly. They're not pushy and they don't stalk your every move but will definitely come and happily assist you if needed. read more

Grand Maple Gifts is one of several souvenir shops in the downtown Vancouver area. They all sell similar stuff - maple cookies, maple candies, maple syrups (of course), T-shirts, magnets, etc. Prices are all pretty similar, too. So, if you're not too picky, you can grab some souvenirs here and not feel like you're missing out on anything anywhere else. read more

You know what it's like shopping for souvenirs: most of the stuff is actually made nowhere near where you're visiting (usually in China), the stuff that's nice is crazy expensive, and the stuff that's cheap is so tacky that it's only useful as gag gifts. And, well, to be honest, Grand Maple doesn't stray far from the usual pattern. But we still liked it for a number of reasons: First, we had already visited several souvenir shops on Granville and Robson, and they all carried exactly the same stock. I don't know if they're owned by the same company, or just all use one supplier, but it got a little tedious trudging into multiple stores, only to find the same stuff over and over again. Grand Maple had some items that we hadn't already looked at and rejected half a dozen times. Second, they had some fairly nice items that weren't outrageously expensive. It's not like they were selling top-quality stuff for pennies on the dollar, but we found a number of items that we could give to friends without feeling embarrassed for $15 or less. (The T-shirt selection was particularly impressive. I wouldn't have expected such a variety outside a specialty T-shirt shop.) Third, the staff were very helpful without being pushy. It's a fine line, and I was really impressed that they took so much time helping us without implying that maybe we should be buying more of their stuff. My sweetie even commented on how much work we were putting them to, and one clerk commented, "This is our job." If I could bottle that attitude and pass it on, I could turn just about anywhere into a tourist Mecca. read more

There was one guys who was really nice and helpful, but they all hover over you trying to see what you are gonna buy, it's not a great feeling, it makes me feel pressured and uncomfortable read more

This store has really nice and high-quality Vancouver-themed clothing as well as cute shot glasses and stuffed animals. There's something for everyone in terms of souvenirs. The staff were very kind and approachable :) Super safe to browse here even during COVID. All staff wore masks, hand sanitizer is provided at the door, plastic barriers separate the cashier and the customer, and X's and arrows mark the floor to help customers maintain distancing. It was a pleasure dropping by today! Thank you! read more

Loved this shop very cute great customer service and good prices I'm visiting from the states and needed a place to grab souvenirs

The best souvenir shop in Vancouver I've been to so far! They had a great selection of gifts and souvenirs for fair prices and the store associates really went out of their way to assist me. Everyone was super nice but not obtrusive which was greatly appreciated. The lady at the register saw that I was struggling to carry my souvenirs so she offered to hold on to them for me and when I paid, she showed me the receipt and went over all the items with me to make sure that she put all the prices in correctly and I wouldn't be overcharged. They also wrapped everything for me so that nothing would get lost or break, which I thought was very attentive and not something that every store would do. They really took the time to interact with the customer and made sure that the entire experience at their store was satisfactory. I was extremely happy with my visit to the store today so I just wanted to share :) read more

I came here 'cause I was on a snow globe mission. That is right. I was on a mission to find a snow globe, however, not just any snow globe but one that specifically has science world prominent at the main focus that says Vancouver.
