Standard souvenir shop. No shortage of these in town. I found no reason to search this one out over any others. All fine otherwise.

I would give zero Stars if I could…read more I went into the store, I am an indigenous person and I was looking at their jewelry. I picked out about 10 items I was going to hold on to and when I got to the cashier, I was going to go through them and leave behind the ones I didn't want to keep. The workers asked me if I wanted them to hold them for me, I politely said no thank you I am perfectly capable of holding my own items. Once I said this, I was followed through the entire store after telling them I had lots of money on me and I would be willing to show them. I also let them know that I am not a thief and never having been. I called them out for following me and they said they were just following me to offer me help if I needed it. I responded saying I would not need help but thank you very much, they continued to follow me despite this. I told them the souvenir store was full of indigenous items and these items are made by my people or supposed to be made by my people and I would be writing a review to show everyone who is deciding to go to the store to purchase items and to let them know the horrible experience I had due to the fact that I am indigenous. So not only are they making money off the art of indigenous people, they are discriminating against us and making us feel less than. None of the employees followed any other persons who were white or brown (these employees were Brown). Please sing twice before spending your money on this shop. Thank you for reading. MD

Shame on me. Money well spent. I had a good time doing it. There's 4 or 5 tourist souvenir places on water street with the same merchandise. This one is the best for widest merchandise selection and helpful sales people. Go ahead, you know that Vancouver Seahawks hoodie is just out screaming to you. Open your wallet. When you get home, your friends will be envious of your score.

This store has a wide selection of gifts and souvenirs with "Canada" or "Vancouver" on them. Their products like shirts, mugs, magnets and alike are of better quality. They also sell items with coast salish art great for gifting or to keep as your own. We purchased some t-shirts (5 for $20), mugs and maple syrup to bring back for friends and family. The lady owner and her father were very friendly and helpful. We even bought a mahjong set!

Shifeon has a new shop! No longer a dingy little shop wedged in a crack , but a very shiny new…read moreshop! It's still on Robson, between Jervis and Bute. This is where I come for new collection nail polish. They have every possible shade of OPI available! The collections are so quick to update that I can always find the newest collections of OPI there (in stores) before anywhere else. They carry new collections in all the other brands too. Pretty much if you can't find the nail polish/product you want at your local drug store, you can almost definitely find it here! Buy more, and the price comes down per bottle. It starts off at just under $10. With each extra bottle you buy, the price comes down by a $1 per bottle! It's a pretty sweet deal for a nail polish addict - me!!! The staff... I never want to talk to them because they can be so pushy. Although I have no problem saying no, they are relentless! The trick is to tell them you already know what you want. I still browse the shop sometimes out of curiosity. The rest of the stuff are pretty pricey, so I don't buy anything from them, except nail polish!

I never knew there was a Shifeon on Robson until they moved to this bigger location. I agree that…read morethe sales in the store do follow you around but when I told them upfront "I'm just browsing" they were pretty chill with it and backed off. After looking around and I wanted some assistance, I turned around trying to catch someone, I got eye contact right away which was nice (she was standing pretty far too). I don't like pushy sales bc it turns me off and I leave the store but knowing that someone acknowledges my presence w/o feeling pressured to purchase is a gold star. I was looking for something to lighten up my break out marks and the sales, Mandy, recommended me this serum from Green Envee (1st time) and Guinot (2nd time). Both worked like a charm and I how they have lots of different products and brands! Plus a bonus Sanrio corner (my favourite)!! Whether if I make a small purchase, big purchase or even no purchase at all, they gave me lots of free samples to try out! I literally got a routine set sample for both my mom and I w/o dropping a penny down one time! What more can I ask for? Another reason why I return to this store is their buy $50 get $10 coupon (for the following quarter mths). Its a way to do business keeping ur customers but if the prices are the same for some of the brands you can find elsewhere ie. The Bay, Sephora, Murale, etc. why not get it here when u can get a $10 coupon for future purchase, gift with purchase (depending on which brands) and lots of free samples? The Bay offers 10% cosmetics and fragrances from time to time only and gift with purchases (certain times for each brands), Sephora offers points... no gift with purchase and sometimes 10-15% off Sephora days and no samples or rarely... Murale offers optimum points - that's it!
