Ordered takeout for lunch. The urban legend is this is the home of the best Italian hoagie. The thing that makes it so fantastic is the dressing. The hoagie or should I say grinder is heated and very good and I would agree that the sauce is fire. I ordered lunch to go so it was a little soggy but I am sure if I were to dine in I would have a different opinion read more

My first time eating here! Ordered 2 Italian hoagies & they were great. Customer service was great. Super cheap too.ill be ordering here again. 10/10 recommend. read more

do not order from this place, they've messed up my order 3 times so far and get very snarky and rude whenever they have to make it right. bad business practice, save your money read more

Worst pizza i ever had, I had a pan pizza to go when i got home and tried to eat it it was tasteless .i lifted the cheese and there was no sauce on it .the cheese was burnt from the crust in about 2 inches. the crust thickness went from3/4 inch to 1/8 inch . some pan pizza huh, maybe they should take lessons from the hut . I won't be going back there read more

If you are looking for a great Italian hoagie, this is the place. I get the Italian deluxe . It's fantastic Love the creamy Italian dressing and sausage they add to their deluxe Italian . read more

We ordered two super pizzas and 2 orders of chicken wings and our bill was over $60, which seemed like a lot to me. The wings are whole wings, which surprised me. We ordered hot and mild and they were just ok. Mild was too mild and hot was not hot enough. The pepperoni pizza was better than the sausage and green pepper. The crust isn't real thin, but isn't thick either. The sauce and cheese are decent. After reading reviews, I realize we should have ordered Italian hoagies. read more

Good Italian hoagie, fast delivery (20 min from order to door - excellent) Extra sauce very good (recommended) read more

Grand Central Pizza - a slice of pizza with tomatoes and lettuce - Pizza Near Me - Elizabeth, Pennsylvania

The pizza is bland and nothing special. But we made the mistake of going to the shop to eat in and it looked more like a storage unit. It was a health inspectors worst nightmare with the plastic utensils, styrofoam cups, etc just laid into a bin on top of a cart for everyone to touch them all to access them. Many forks were dirty and flies were landing on everything. Everything from the wooden booths to the window front were dirty and outdated. They didn't even have a drink machine for those dining in. I gave 2 stars because the Chicken Florentine flatbread was okay, they accepted Apple Pay touch payment, and the employees seemed nice enough. read more

This place has horrible food ! Don't waste your money. They hoagies are dry and have no flavor and they charge an arm and a leg for pizza and it has no cheese on it ! Terrible. Don't say I didn't warn you ! read more

You can get an Italian Hogie anywhere but it won't be as good as central pizzas. This place is almost never on my way anywhere but I go out of my way for their Italian hogie. It's the sauce they put on it that sets it apart from everywhere else. I will note if you have never had it you better plan to eat t soon after you pick it up. They are dripping with juice and dressing (which makes it good) but if you don't eat it rather soon it will be soggy. My interpretation of their dressing is a italian ran mix but who knows if that's what it is. Good is what it is and that's all that matters. It's on the level of if you normally always eat a half hogie somewhere. You will like it so much you will wish you had a whole hogie. read more

Pizza is good, service is good. I have not tried anything else from their menus. Good pizza place in town

Up until today, this was our usual Pizza place. Never again! After almost 2 hours of waiting, the pizza was smashed, cold, and had cheese stuck to the roof of the box. Not worth it! read more

Grand Central Pizza - a pizza in a pizza box - Pizza Near Me - Elizabeth, Pennsylvania

Grand Central Pizza We have been ordering there for over 20 years. All the food is delicious my favorite is the Deluxe Italian Hoagie. When we get delivery, the food is as hot as when it just comes out of the oven. When my family from out of state visits, I know we will be eating there at least 3-4 times during their stay. read more

The best Italian hoagies! The white sauce and the house vinaigrette mixed together makes the BEST dressing. I order my hoagies with the dressing on the side and dip my hoagie straight into it. read more

I was a walk in. I was immediately greeted by a nice young man. The Italian hoagies I ordered were prepared quickly and were very tasty. I'll try other menu items when I can. If you are in the area I recommend that you stop in for a tasty munch read more

Tried Central's Italian Hoagie today. If you are searching for a tradional Italian hoagie, keep looking. The entire sandwich was soft and soggy as if it was never baked for any length of time. Inside the meats within were ok but cheese was non-existent. The dressing resembled cole slaw but also tasted like ranch salad dressing. I was last in this store about 10 years ago and purchased a crispy tradional Italian hoagie with generous content. Other products may be great but I'll pass on any more hoagies. read more

One of the best Italian hoagies in the area. Never had a bad experience with them in over 15yrs I have getting food there.

LOVE the Italian hoagies - I don't know what that dressing is but it is addicting!

Owner was very unfriendly. We were not eating the pizza but picking it up for others. When we called phone had a lot of static and I had trouble ordering because of the static. We checked the order to see if it was correct and this upset the owner. When we questioned why he got upset he said there's the door. Had issues with wrong orders before and did not want to go here but was doing a favor. I know it's a pizza shop and customer skills are not good but I won't go back ever. read more

The only thing that tastes good is the Italian hoagie with sauce on the side, but not all the time. Sometimes it's such a greasy soggy mess that it's almost inedible. The last couple times we got pizza, it went right in the garbage. The worst pizza I ever tasted. It's a shame because they are good sometimes but it's always a conversation if we want to risk wasting our money to throw all the food in the trash. read more

Had a pan pizza for take out. It has a nice crisp crust with generous toppings. The sauce was tangy with consistent taste. Had breadsticks and the seasoning was nice as well as the marinara dipping sauce. I own a pizza shop and it is hard pressed to find a pan pizza and a descent one at that. The dough and toppings were consistent and well baked. The staff was nice and we left a tip. I have made pizzas since 1987 and don't eat it too much so there are only a few places I have found that have a truly good pie. They have a Sicilian as well that we will have to try. Thank you for having a good product and service! read more
