We were originally staying in Scottsdale so we wanted to be closer to the Grand Canyon when we went and we found the tiny houses and the pictures were adorable. We couldn't wait to go see that well when we get there it's like bait and switch one side of the street has cute tiny houses and the other side of the street. Has it looks like FEMA trailers that they put us in weeds everywhere the window was broke. The microwave door was broke it was just bad so just beware if you see those cute tiny houses make sure that's where you're staying because it is a big bait and switch there. BEAWARE-not all units are equal, not sure if they have different owners. I rented a one bedroom studio and could not spend the night in it due to the strong chemical smell of cleaning products. Friends stayed in newer two bedroom unit and it was cute and clean. These were other major problems with the unit: The window was broken - the seal was broken and it had multiple cracks. The coffee pot was unplugged - I had to pull out the refrigerator, get on my hands and knees and unplug the microwave to plug it it. The outlet behind the refrigerator did not have a cover on it. The lock did not work from the interior. I was hoping for a unit I could sleep in. The cleaning and/or management staff is not doing a good job of informing owners of property conditions. Management asked for a review prior to doing any posting. I did contact them and received no response. read more

The bed linen was dirty! All the appliances had a thick greasy substance rubbed on them. The towels were dingy and dirty. The room was nice, but felt dirty. I didn't want to touch anything and had to use Clorox wipes while I was there. The heat would not turn on, it just blew cold air. I had to call them to ask how to operate the heat. Also, when I went to watch TV, two unknown people were already logged into YouTube so I had to use someone's else's account. In addition, they neglected to give me the Wi-Fi password so I had to go all night, in the middle of no where, and barely had phone service and couldn't even connect to the Wi-Fi. read more

Okay, I'm changing to 5 stars but please read! Lots of great things to say, and the place met all expectations. However, couple of notes! 1. The Road sucks. Just saying one mile off highway however. It is very bumpy and if you are prepared then no big deal. 2. Water pressure is nil, 3. No dish towels. That being said, highly recommend. It was clean, and great view of stars. 20 min from Grand Canyon. Now it only had one comfy bed. The others not so much. But I guess we expected that. Fridge and cooking stuff. Bring paper towel and spices (salt and pepper) if needed. Had a great time. Very clean. Good amenities. Tiny home and well taken care of of. Great for four or family of four. But can squeeze 6-8. read more

As a couple visiting the Grand Canyon, we were looking for a self catering accommodation for 3 nights and we did not mind driving a short distance away from the park. So we booked no 36 in this holiday rental park. We recognise from the pictures what the house would look like and understood it was a "tiny" house. We also accepted, it was a 30 min drive away from the Grand Canyon South Rim visitor center and in the middle of nowhere with no nearby amenities. No 36 claims it will accommodate 8 people. There is one bedroom with a double bed, 1 other bedroom with 2 very short bunk beds and a mezzanine level with 3 other beds (this level has a reduced head height so only for children in our opinion). I presume the other bed is the sofa? I would not recommend this house for 8 adults. Even 2 adults and 2/3 children would be a tight squeeze. There is also a table with 4 chairs and very limited cutlery so again, 8 people could not all eat at the same time. The positives - for 2 people the house is a perfect size. The location is very convenient for the national park. The house was clean when we arrived. On a clear night, the stars right outside your house are amazing. So was the sunrise. The negatives - the heating in the house was a system of air vents in the floor. When we arrived, the air was on full blast pumping cold air into the house. There were no instructions for the control panel and changing the temperature on the panel had little effect. One of the vents was broken and made a terrible clanging noise. We could see spoons inside this vent and we thought someone else must have tried to fix it. We had to cover the vents with our luggage to stop the noise and air. The kitchen is not well equipped. No dishtowels, only 2 mismatched wine glasses, mismatched cutlery, only 1 small chopping board and 1 knife, no tin opener, very few utensils to cook with. The tap in the shower room sink was broken (still useable but broken). The fridge would emit a loud noise every 30-60 minutes - even through the night. There are 2 new looking TVs (one in the living area and 1 in the master bedroom). Since the internet signal is so poor, you could not get either terrestrial channels nor sign into any streaming channels. So the TVs were useless. We attempted to email the info@ address as soon as we arrived to ask for help with the heating. Despite bombarding you with emails before you arrive, no-one answered any of our emails while we were there. We talked to some people in the unit next to us and they reported the same issues we were having. Ironically, the night before we were due to check out, I got an email telling me that the company hoped I had a good stay and would I please leave a 5 star review. The email asked, if I did not feel I wanted to leave a 5 star review, could I please let them know before I posted a review so they could try and make amends. So I sent them an email before writing this review to let them know the issues and guess what - of course they did not reply to the email. I suspect all the emails before you arrive and system generated and no- one (machine or human) is checking the email id for replies. If you have any problems while at the park, you are on your own. Having read a number of previous reviews going back over 12 months, the same issues are mentioned more than once. In summary, I would not recommend. read more

Excellent location, terrific service, wonderful accommodations! We started in #36 - it was spotlessly clean, stocked with plenty of towels and linens. We have a larger family (6 of our 7 children still live at home), so this was the perfect option for us! It's only 20 minutes from the Grand Canyon, much more convenient than staying in Williams, and away from the bustle of the Grand Canyon Village. Great for stargazing on clear nights since it's so far from city lights. I'm taller, 6'6", and I managed just fine - the bedrooms and bathroom have about 6'8" ceilings, but it wasn't an issue. We will definitely be staying here again! read more
