Overall: A great place to pick up an expensive lunch bill
Grand Cafe Caruso used to be my favourite spot for a mochachino, it was pure pleasure - with a delicious mix of hot chocolate, espresso, freshly whipped cream and chocolate chunks. Over time, the mochachino has got weaker with the espresso and tastes purely of hot chocolate. It's a real shame!
The last time I came here I ordered a double espresso, the base of all coffee drinks. It's usually the saving grace for me, but sadly it wasn't. I was asked if I would like sugar with it? Huh?
This place is a smallish-locally owned business and it does warm lunches/sandwiches, gelato and pastries etc, however they tend to be on the pricier side. The service is usually good and there's plenty of seating, but it still feels bustly!
