I chose this place because of the high ratings. When I got there, the guy asked me what type of pedicure I wanted. I said I wanted the jelly one which was only $40 and as he was doing my pedicure, he had asked if I would like a manicure too and I said how much is the manicure and he told me $25 so I figured I would treat myself and get that done as well. As he was doing my nails, he had cut my pinky and it was bleeding. And then after he was done, he wrote down that the pedicure was $50 and the manicure was $35 and I said how was it this much I asked for the jelly pedicure and then one of the workers came over and started talking fast and trying to confuse me And say yeah that's gonna be $10 extra for both for the gel. when I never said I wanted to get gel I just said I wanted the basic. Very poor quality all around. First- the staff is rude. They scream over you in Vietnamese. I don't really care that you're talking in your own language, but stop yelling in my ear. I am SUPER DISAPPOINTED!! I used to go here ALL THE TIME years ago. We called and made an appointment for a pedicure. They were very steady with people in and out. We got seated almost instantly and then they gave us this menu for what we wanted.. $35 for a pedi is definitely a lot in this area for a standard pedicure. They used to be $25 and I've seen them $27 with Covid having slashed their business.. the place I normally go to was already busy I guess for the holiday weekend? We decided to splurge abs both go for the DELUXE MANICURE AND PEDICURE. We asked if they had time, no issue if not. Suddenly the place was insane with almost every single seat filled. I had the shortest pedicure of my life.. even worse since I paid EXTRA for the deluxe. The lady who did my friend hassled her the moment she got there until she left about getting GEL. She said no politely. It's more expensive and she didn't need gel right now. The massage for the pedicure was so short... I was like it's done?!? And I paid for the extra?!? When I went to get the manicure there was no lotion, no massage, no ANYTHING! I had my polish removed, cuticles pushed back, my nails buffed, washed my hands, had polish applied, and a tiny fan in front of me to dry. I had to move it as it just blew straight... not down to my nails. My friend didn't get her nails dried they sat it under the gel light and told her to be careful since they were wet? My nail tech never came back so when my friend got up, I did too and went to pay. Apparently it was $61 because she said they add $1 when you use credit card? Booked an appointment for a pedi and mani. Was there 2.5 hrs due to them trying to squeeze in as many people as possible. I expressed twice that I was unhappy with my nails. She fixed them once and the second time I told her I was unhappy and she proceeded to do what she was doing. I was told to come back the next day and they'd do it again while I was still charged them full amount. Trash from a sucker was left on the table while they worked on me as well. The vibe was hectic which did not allow for a relaxing experience. *addition* went back later the same day to have them completed a third time and they are no better. They are SORE. If she couldn't complete it correctly, she should've just said so instead of doing multiple poor attempts. Terribly disappointed. I got the dip powder manicure, a guy originally did them but it was lumpy, uneven, and too thick. So, Rose went over them verto try to smooth them out. I left to run errands, when I was out I noticed how sloppy the job came out so I called the shop to see if I could come back to get them fixed. Rose was kind enough to re-do them for me, now I love them. Also, she suggested adding a tip for length and I am happy that I did that. Updated review: Friendly people, genuinely great to be around but I stopped going to this shop months ago because they are not the cleanest (using the same tools between customers without sanitizing them), relied heavily on the drill which weakened my nails to the point they would split, and sometimes rushed even with an appointment made. Healthy nail care is important to me, so I decided to go elsewhere. Also, if you do the dip powder manicure, it's more of just a color change because they do not do what a manicure entails. They took it upon themselves to do add ons when my daughter told them no acrylic they told her it was powder. I tip well and they did not get a tip after that stunt. I was recommended to this place by a friend. I had a very good experience. I received the dip nail service (manicure) and it looks amazing. And for the price, I was all for it. I paid $27 for dip powder nails and the gel would have been $25. I made an appointment and went in on Saturday afternoon, they took me right in and Lam did my nails. They have plenty of gel and powder colors to choose from. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because I felt the place could have been a bit cleaner. I don't see myself getting my feet done here, but I'm down for a $27 dip. :) read more

I'm not gonna lie, when I saw the reviews for this place, I thought I was going to love it. Think again, the place wasn't super busy, but they had a few people here and there. I don't even know the name of the girl who did my manicure and pedicure. All I know is that she rushed through my pedicure, my manicure, and I managed to have two deep cuts from how hard she was using the nail file. These little cuts burn so freakin bad, the gel polish has already chipped on a few nails, AND I just got this done yesterday (08/07/2018)!!! I seriously hate how nail salons take advantage of teens and young adults, and get away with it. I didn't want to have conflict, nor am I the type of person to call someone out for rushing their job. I paid $60 for a gel manicure and pedicure with a $10 tip. Next time, I'll just take a Dremel to my nails and use the Sally Hansen gel nail polish from Walmart because I would rather learn how to paint my own nails rather than spending $70 for my fingers to be in pain and for my nails to look like a five year old painted them. read more

Very reasonable prices and they have a punch card for future visits. The only negative was the lack of ventilation. I just come back from this nail salon (today may 24, 2021). I went in to get a pedicure with my daughter. The man that helped us chose not too speak english as we sat with feet in water. Was given a menu of pedicure. After asking repeatedly to him about regular pedicures ( not the $35 or 45 ones) he would not answer and waved his hands. My daughter and I thought that was the regular pedicures at $35. Anyway, they did not explain that the cheapest pedicure at $35 came with a $10 charge for gel nails. It was not only till I got to the register to find out my pedicure was $45. I complained after I saw the menus behind the register that stated pedicure $17. I was livid at the fact I was not told there were other options and that basically Wes are only given the "expensive" menu. We just wanted basic pedicure.. This shop chooses not too speak English (I know they do, they have had this shop for years and their kids went to high school in your county). I was then told "next time" I was to ask the girl behind the desk for pricing. Fraudulent Practices!! $90 for two pretty basic pedicures with gel that we didn't even want. I've been going to GraftonnNail gor years when Steve was the owner ,Please realize these are not anything like Steve and his family ran that shop .I've been when Rose first opened the shop .She doesn't know anything about customer service unfortunately she is all about the monetary part of her business .Iwas cut on my toe so badly I needed to see a doctor for treatment .Iwent into speak with Rose and showed her my toe and the doctors report .I didn't want any reimbursement for anything .Just to make her aware of the lady who done this to me .We left and didn't return again till last week we went back to see Tea the technician who is very good to cut out my husband in grown nails !with ease and a very caring manner.I was to be done by her myself but they were very behind !so another tech ask could shecpuld do mine since Tea was behind !so I allowed her to do mine .I had my own gel polish !she said it would be 37.00 I ask why I only wanted a regular pedicure?.?My husbands was$27.00 .Now to the worst This tech used the grader on my foot and cut mu toe on the side of my rt foot and heel on my left foot .I'm not the kind of person to cause a small business any problems ,but it's been long enough time this business is to be reported for these unhealthy practices .Rose the owner appears to ignore them because of the language problem .She needs to have someone who can translate .They are not as clean either !they need to invest in the plastic liners for there basins .They know there not suppose to be using the same nail files on other clients .My suggestion to Rose is become complient and make sure these techs are licensed Nuff said .Hope this is informative to all clients and Rose the owner for a good business here in our awesome York Country . read more

I've been coming to Grafton Nails for years. Having tried shops in several locations across the Peninsula, I have yet to find one that comes close to Grafton Nails quality, service, or friendliness. While getting a pedicure, you'll be sitting in relaxing massage chairs and may even be treated to the funny banter between customers and staff or staff to staff. Whatever type of manicure you want they provide, natural nails, gel, acrylic, etc. They maintain clean equipment, I've seen them wash the feet basins after every use and wipe down their nail stations. They also do hair removal and I've gotten my eyebrows done here many times. The prices are reasonable if not a little cheaper than elsewhere. I don't think you will be dissapointed if you give them a try. It'll be the first time of many! read more

I decided to get my nails done here because of all the great reviews, but i had a terrible visit. i made an appointment but i ended waiting a very long time, and when i finally did get my nails done, she cut my fingers and cuticles when she was clipping them. there was a lot of blood which she brushed some glue over and she also didn't clean the tools after the client before me. there was dust from filed nails in an inch thick layer over everything. finally, i asked for a pink french manicure and got a very thick-tipped version of a regular french manicure and after i explained, she quickly brushed some pink polish over while she stood up on my way to the dryer. needless to say, i found the place a bit unsanitary and i won't be returning. read more
