I moved into this office space on August 25th after paying $1,350 to get started. I was given two options: $600/month working directly through Mark (month-to-month), or $850/month through the office with a locked annual lease. I chose month-to-month for flexibility. From day one, things didn't add up. I was told my deposit would be used to refresh and paint my unit. That never happened. I had to pay out of pocket to make the space usable so I could even begin generating income. When I communicated that my October payment might be slightly delayed due to those unexpected expenses, Mark agreed. Shortly after, he went behind my back and told another tenant that if I didn't pay by Friday, he would put my belongings out. This directly contradicted our agreement and created unnecessary conflict. But it didn't stop there. In December, I discovered a mass in my breast and had to travel back and forth to Alabama for medical care. When I returned to Atlanta on January 4th after a 6-hour drive, I stopped by my office and fell asleep from exhaustion. The next morning, Mark asked to speak. We went upstairs, and during that conversation, he made a direct threat against my children. His exact words: "If I don't have my money by today, I'm going to lock your door so you don't have access and you can call your kids down here to get them killed if you want to. I'm a gangster." I immediately contacted the police. Nothing was done. At that point, I had no choice but to shut down my business and leave. I lost income, clients, and had to completely restart including reprinting all marketing materials tied to that address. Beyond my personal experience, the environment itself is deeply concerning: * People are living in these office spaces full-time without the owner's knowledge * Frequent domestic disturbances * Police activity and drug-related incidents * A reported shooting involving a child during a penthouse party that was never disclosed * Constant tenant turnover multiple people moving out at the same time This is not a professional business environment. It is unstable, unsafe, and poorly managed. There also appears to be serious internal mismanagement involving staff handling money and operations without transparency to the actual owner. If you are serious about your business even a little bit do not rent here. What looks like an opportunity will cost you more than money. It will cost you peace, safety, and progress.

On the day of event, Alex was on hand and present during the ceremony. The space was clean, the air was blasting and the ambiance was on point. At some point during the reception Alex became the bar tender without hesitation and I was pleased to see her involvement in everything. There is one change that could happen when special events are going on. The alert noise when a door is opened continues to go off each time. If you could disconnect this during wedding ceremonies that would be great. Overall, a great space and I will patronize again. If you need an intimate space in the future MLO is the spot to go!

So 5/5 on the looks but where I think this place lacks is communication and professionalism. Jason the main guy I spoke with was awesome! He even called several times before the event to check in. The day before, during, and after he was very kind. Paul I believe his name is was also very kind and helpful. My problem came with one of the staff who was rude during set up and made me feel uncomfortable to even ask simple questions like what time they planned on setting up the round tables which I believe was reasonable since my help wanted to set up decor. I was not trying to rush but come on...The next issue came with no communication. In the contract that I signed over 1 1/2 ago stated that the place must be left the way we found it. This is fair and obviously I agreed to it but on your wedding day the last thing you're thinking of is the contract. Through a mini argument the bridesmaid were about to clean up but Paul just told them to leave and that he would do it instead. This was very awesome of Paul but I only wish he would have just let them clean up or reminded us 2 hours earlier so we could have had a big group help. Due to the staff cleaning up a list of things went missing. This was very disappointing and when asking the venue about the missing items nothing was found so either it got thrown away or taken. Which I understand the frustration of having to clean but my bridesmaid were going to do it so they could have been more careful and respectful of our things. Jason was kind enough to ask all staff and give us a details on what they said but still nothing was found besides our sanitizer. Also when speaking to many, many, many guest, I found that there was no uniformed police officer. One guest who works for Atlanta PD went looking and couldn't find him/her. This wouldn't have been a big deal but again no communication. The place is beautiful so on that front it's worth the headache BUT make sure you ask questions and really make them accountable. But again the place is beautiful and overall the wedding was a hit so I would recommend them! 4/4 stars!
