The day of the wedding, all I did was enjoy myself - the same goes for my family. We did not have a single worry. She has an amazing relationship with so many vendors and knew pretty much everyone we wanted to work with so it made the process so much smoother. Not to mention, she has the cultural competence we needed and recommended appropriate vendors to fit each of our traditions which was one of our worries as an interracial couple. Her team took care of everything to the point where even my 6 ft long veil looked perfect throughout the night despite all the dancing and fun. I went up for an outfit change and she hand delivered our dinner to the room and made sure to check up on us several times in addition to her team making sure the event was running smoothly. Ria even went out of her way to bring her own decor to make our wedding table look perfect. From how our entrances were coordinated to every other detail in the night, our wedding wouldn't have been perfect without her. She is highly organized and ensured everything is done and ready at the right time. I highly recommend Ria Events and Design if you want a perfect wedding.

Aside from her obvious talent, she is the sweetest person to know and work with which is so important when trusting someone with your Wedding Day. Forever thankful for Ria and all her love and work in making our wedding the wedding of our dreams.

I met Sade at the venue I wanted to have my wedding and find out she was also a event coordinator. After a brief conversation with her, I knew I needed her and hiring her was the best decision I made!! She was so friendly and professional she made the process of planning my wedding from stressful to fun and enjoyable! She helped me create a checklist of things that needed to be done along with helping me find vendors within my budget. She worked and communicated with all the vendors so there was less stress on me. On the day of the event she made sure things went smoothly and handled any unforeseen situation without hesitation (she's amazing!) I couldn't be more grateful, Sade went above and beyond to make our special day perfect. Highly recommend her!! Thank you so much Sade

After reading positive reviews of EKS Weddings and Events, we scheduled a meeting with owner and…read morelead planner Elizabeth Klespies to talk about our 50th anniversary celebration. Within the first 15 minutes, we knew our event would be in talented, capable hands. She came armed with her color-coded planner and a zipper pouch of pens and pencils. Her attention was riveted on our every response to her probing questions regarding what we wanted our event to be. Clearly she was extremely organized and obviously she cared. We couldn't sign the contract fast enough, so no one else could book her for our date. It was one of the best decisions we've ever made. We cannot say enough about the magic Elizabeth performed to make our celebration, in the words of many of our guests, "the best event I've ever attended." Her monthly reminder lists were invaluable in keeping us on track. She was absolutely unflappable and completely calm, even when we made major changes, like the time of the event and the venue. She just congenially accommodated our requests and "fixed" everything we had disrupted. She truly wanted this to be our dream event. Some of the best elements of the celebration would not have been possible without Elizabeth's guidance and assistance. She has such an extensive knowledge of talent in the Atlanta area that when we asked at a fairly late date to have a caricaturist and a living statue, she simply made it happen. She was also an effective advocate for us in persuading the venue to ease some of their policies to permit one of our special requests. On the day of our main event, Elizabeth and her assistant Kat absolutely transformed the blank slate of the ballroom into an exquisite event space in what seemed a very short time. Then we were able to see how all the choices and decisions she helped us make over the previous months came together with her talent to create exactly the look we had wanted. The entire evening went off flawlessly thanks to Elizabeth's talent and skills. At the end of the event, while we were saying goodbye to our guests, Elizabeth and Kat distributed centerpieces to our delighted guests, rounded up all the items that were rented, and packed up our personal items. By the time we thought to inquire about our things, they had been safely stored in our hotel room. If you would like to hire a planner who will help you bring your vision to life and give you peace of mind to enjoy your special day while she takes care of the details, you cannot make a better choice than Elizabeth Klespies and EKS.

Throughout the entire process they were professional, gracious and customer-oriented. I can't imagine how we could have handled this event without them - they were truly life savers! I was the Maid of Honor for my friends' Cher and Tony's wedding and I was also their unofficial wedding planner. They originally had a day of coordinator provided from another company - this coordinator dropped the ball on so many occasions that we had to fire her and look for a new one TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING. I emailed Amanda in a panic and she replied within an hour and hopped on the phone with me to hear my concerns over what didn't work out with the previous person and also let me know that they potentially had someone available. In comes Audrey - organized, professional, and overall a gem of a human being. The difference between her and their old coordinator was night and day! She came in two weeks prior and was able to get a wrangle on all the vendors and organization details. She came to the walkthrough so prepared that even their other vendors were impressed. We were so stressed with our old coordinator but all the stress came right off after Audrey took over. On the day of the wedding, we also had Maeghan onsite (another amazing human being btw) - every last detail was PERFECT. Everything was set up the way the bride had wanted. The wedding went off without a hitch and it wouldn't have happened that way without the team at Fete and Figs.

We could only afford to hire her as a day of coordinator, but she went above and beyond to help us through every phase. She quickly understood what our vision was for the event was and did everything in her power to make it a reality. She is decisive (when you can't be), ready with a trusted vendor recommendation (when you need it), extremely professional and has a good eye for what's hot (and what's not). She also has a wickedly good sense of humor. She is also fabulous at negotiating prices with vendors so I suggest you get that package if you can swing the cost. We couldn't, but Ashley still helped us get a good price with certain vendors and even came to my dress fitting although I'd already used up the consultations included in my package. In response to the other reviewer: it may take her a little while to respond to emails because she has other clients with weddings taking place before yours. But she always got back to us in less than 48 hours with very detailed responses and her response time was even faster--mere hours--during the last month of the planning. I cannot imagine what the planning would have been without such wealth of information just an email away. Unlike some other planners I've heard stories about, Ashley worked behind the scenes on our wedding day to make everything ran smoothly and only came to us with questions when it was absolutely necessary. You have no idea how important this is. We got to spend time with our family, friends and each other instead of worrying about the small stuff. As a result, the entire event was a success and everyone is still raving that it was the most fun and beautiful wedding they have ever been to. We had a blast too! We would absolutely hire her again without any hesitation and enthusiastically recommend her. She is the best of the best!
