Came here with a pretty large group while visiting Stockholm, so keep that in mind when reading this review we were a lot of people. I really wish I remembered our server's name because he handled everything so well. Even though there were a few mix-ups (which is totally understandable) he stayed patient, organized, and did a great job overall. Our food did take a little bit of time to come out, but again considering how big our group was, it was understandable.
First things first, being in a different country the menu can feel a little overwhelming, so I really appreciated the server's recommendations. It made ordering way easier. They're open from 11am-11pm, which is super convenient. The ambiance was also a highlight for me very pretty, a little dark, with candles on the tables that gave it a cozy, vibey feel. The restaurant itself was clean and had a nice atmosphere for a group dinner. Just a heads up: the plates are on the smaller side, but if you order a few appetizers and maybe dessert, you'll definitely be satisfied.
Now for the food:
The bread they brought out was solid ! warm, fresh, and a great start - 8.5
I ordered what I believe were arancini (little fried rice balls), and WOW - crispy on the outside, soft and flavorful on the inside. These were easily a 1000/10 for me
For my main dish I cannot remember the name but it included oxtail. I'm still new to that flavor and I don't think it really fits my palate. It wasn't bad, just not something I personally loved. I ended up not finishing most of it (my friend happily took over though lol).
It was my first time trying an affogato and I'm so glad I experienced it here. The combination of rich espresso poured over cold, creamy ice cream was so good sweet, bold, and perfectly balanced. I honestly wanted to order a second one. I also had a cappuccino, which was smooth and well-made. They also serve gelato, and a lot of my group got it and loved it ! kinda wish I tried it too !
Overall, I'd come back to try something different on the menu, especially since some items really stood out. It wouldn't be my first stop next time, but it's definitely worth checking out especially for the appetizers and dessert. read more
