Gracie's was the perfect way to ring in the New Year We stopped in on New Year's Eve and the vibe was on point -- live music playing, lots of energy, and a fun crowd without feeling chaotic. Even with it being a holiday, the service was impressively fast and genuinely friendly. You could tell the staff was hustling but still in great spirits. Our waitress was just lovely and just super attentive. The food came out quickly, which was much appreciated, and those fried raviolis deserve a special shoutout. Crispy on the outside, packed with flavor on the inside, and paired with a warm dipping sauce that has just the right little kick -- dangerously good. I also loved the Skinny hound cocktail -- super refreshing, grapefruit-forward, and best of all... not hard on the waistline! I had no idea the nachos at Gracie's were so delicious! Wow! We came right at opening, thinking we were going to get brunch but we ended up getting their delicious nachos instead. We also got a bottle of champagne for mimosas. What a way to start the first meal of the day - mimosas and nachos! The nachos were delicious and so filling between the two of us. Piled high with veggies and layers of cheese and beans and jalapeños. The champagne they used for mimosas was delicious, but our orange juice was really watered down. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and the server we had was lovely. Lots of people came in for the Utes game - it's a great sports bar to watch the games and they even had a separate room that seemed to be rented out for fans of one of the college games that was playing. A bunch of girls and I came for Trivia night and it was overall, a pretty good night. I split a garlic burger and salad with my sister and I can't say it was something I recommend to order. The burger didn't have any garlic or salt flavorings and the sweet potato French fries were soggy and undercooked. The salad came with butter (which I'm guess was for a roll that we didn't have) and was soggy by the time it was served to us. Others on our table ordered the jackfruit tacos, chicken salad and the flatbread, all with bland taste. Trivia: What is the name for an establishment that serves good food and high quality alcoholic beverages? The ambiance is the win here: Lots of cool outdoor seating with trees that provide a delightful reprieve from the busy traffic so close by. And, I suspect, provide a slight cooling effect. Good selection of beers, including local ones from Fisher Brewing. Food left a little to be desired. A little bland. Gracie's was recommended a hotel concierge. On arrival it's a typical pub look. Upon entering the business we were greeted. We chose to sit at the bar. The business is a typical bar area with several TVs. We went early so the ambiance was slow but nice. I chose to have the Reuben sandwich and my friend had the Bison Burger. The Reuben was good. The corned beef was fried a little hard for my liking but I thought the flavors were good. The fries were good and crispy. The bison burger was juicy and not dried out. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable of the beers on tap and the food menu. Over all I enjoyed the visit and would come back to try the Bison Burger or the French Dip. When I travel I refuse to eat somewhere that I can eat when I am at home. So give this local place a try because I would come back again. read more

I love the vibe & seating options in this spot! It is the perfect place for gameday and such a fun atmosphere! They have an outdoor patio and upper outside deck as well which I love. I want to start off that this place is always on and popping. Filled with people and overall great happy vibe. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. Funny, kind, and just the perfect amount of chit chat. They didn't have woodford reserve but they suggested high west and it was absolutely perfect as a replacement for woodford. The live band was great and played some very relatable cover songs to my age group (40s). The food wasn't to die for but considering this is more of a bar / happy hour place it met my expectations. Popped in here to watch the Penn State game while visiting SLC - great community and had a whole room off to the right when you walk in set up just with PSU tvs. Server was great, some delay in getting a drink because of unclear stock from the bar. We came here to try the brunch and maybe the chicken strips we'd heard good things about, but the experience didn't go as planned. After ordering drinks, we didn't hear from anyone again for what felt like 3-5 business days. We figured it was the brunch rush, and with only two people working, they must've been busy. It had a laid-back vibe with mostly guys watching sports on TV, keeping a bit of space between them at the bar--quiet enough to chat a little, but still some background noise. We waited, got our drinks from someone rushing past, and thought, "Okay, we'll get the next round and food when they come back." But they never did. We sat with empty glasses for 30 minutes before deciding to leave and try Squatters instead. Even then, it took 10 more minutes of waving to get the check, leaving us pretty frustrated. I did come back a few weeks later to give it another shot since so many people seem to love this place. I got a flatbread, but it was nothing remarkable. Checked out the Sunday Brunch for playoffs football. Typical Utah, grab a bar seat and start taking jacket off and such and instantly asked what we would like to drink and we say can we get a second ? I've come to the realization that the food in Utah is not so great. Have not have a decent meal yet. Their rendition of a flatbread is a perfect example. The bread is not crispy, and it's drowned in balsamic "drizzle". The arugula had zero flavor. The prosciutto was decent but not great. Couldn't taste it past the balsamic "drizzle ". Service. Visited Gracie's after a few online recommendations and because it's super close to our hotel. It's a cool venue with multiple levels and live music. Band was interesting but pretty good. Food was great! We shared French onion soup and it was DELICIOUS. Ordered the chicken tenders to share as well because it came with red eye gravy... which is a southern thing I NEVER see on the menu. The gravy was great... but this southern girl will not call it red eye gravy haha. Also tried the mango habanero sauce and that stuff is HOT. On fire, HOT! I loved it but proceed with caution. Stopped here for dinner on Tuesday around 6:30pm. We were greeted at the door and immediately carded. It was self seating, so we sat ourselves. The live music was just getting set up on the outdoor patio area. The place was busy, but not so busy that there was a wait. Their menu is a QR code on the table (Screenshots added to the review for August 2023 menus). We ordered Gracie's Crown Ribs and Grilled New York Steak Strip. The steak my coworker ordered wasn't rare like he ordered, but we're not complainers and he still enjoyed it anyways hence the 4 stars. Gracie's Crown Ribs had such a beautiful presentation! I got a cornbread tres leche dessert which was surprisingly good, however the large amount of chocolate over the top was overwhelming. They have a lovely garden patio area at the back of the Bar/Restaurant. Lots of TVs and a general vibe of relaxation away from the glare of the midday sun the staff are super friendly and prompt on service. a very casual atmosphere here and you can certainly bring children while having lunch or dinner. I was pleasantly surprised with this spot. I went here with teachers after a day at a conference, and we were able to sit outside to enjoy the sunny weather. I ordered a non-alcoholic drink with blackberry and basil and ginger ale, I believe. It was so beautiful and so delicious. For the table, we got the salsa with chips, pretzel bites, fried cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts. I was a fan of the pretzel bites and chips, the rest were pretty okay. What made my review higher is that their tomato soup and grilled cheese was everything I wanted. I think I devoured it in three bites; it was so good.
