Gracie's was just across the street when we finished our incredible meal at Sushi by Bou in the Peery Hotel, so we stopped in for one more drink before making our way back to our hotel. Live music drew most of the customers to the courtyard, so we saddled up to the bar and knocked one back before joining the party, which sadly ended about 20 minutes later, but we still had a great time! Both staff and patrons were friendly, welcoming and engaging; drinks were reasonably priced; the food menu looked great (although we didn't order anything), and the whole place had a buzz of excitement and activity that made it feel like the place you wanted to be at night. Teetering between a 3 and 4 star review. We were visiting from out of state very late at night and wanted to eat plus a round of drinks. For the month of June, Gracie's is packed with night after night live music, which for us was a DJ set on the first floor when we entered. Cover fee at door was $5 each, wasn't entirely bad but after ordering our food and drinks, it felt like we got priced on everything, even for fry sauce that the waitress offered. We had the spinach & artichoke dip, the garlic burger, and Shepard's pie, as well as two cocktails - Aperol spritz and a french 75. The French 75 was served in a glass full of ice, so it didn't really taste like the traditional cocktail so we ended up ordering different drinks. The s&a dip was good, nothing special. The garlic burger was juicy and very apparently garlic. The Shepard's pie came with a roll and butter, which the butter sat on the hot plate for too long and became complete liquid. The chili oil drizzle was nice but did not add the kick in spice we were hoping for, the mashed potatoes and gravy were pleasant however the meat part of that dish tasted so dense, it was difficult to finish. With the loud DJ set on the first floor, large groups of 22 year olds on the patio, and the food and drinks being alright, I feel like the idea of Gracie's is better than some nights actually there. read more

Decent prices. A lot of food options. We stopped here for dinner just because we were in the area. It was open seating. Our server was nice. The food was good overall there were a couple of issues. The brussel sprouts came out pretty room temp to cold and felt like they had been sitting for a while. Gracie's was the perfect way to ring in the New Year We stopped in on New Year's Eve and the vibe was on point -- live music playing, lots of energy, and a fun crowd without feeling chaotic. Even with it being a holiday, the service was impressively fast and genuinely friendly. You could tell the staff was hustling but still in great spirits. Our waitress was just lovely and just super attentive. The food came out quickly, which was much appreciated, and those fried raviolis deserve a special shoutout. Crispy on the outside, packed with flavor on the inside, and paired with a warm dipping sauce that has just the right little kick -- dangerously good. I also loved the Skinny hound cocktail -- super refreshing, grapefruit-forward, and best of all... not hard on the waistline! I had no idea the nachos at Gracie's were so delicious! Wow! We came right at opening, thinking we were going to get brunch but we ended up getting their delicious nachos instead. We also got a bottle of champagne for mimosas. What a way to start the first meal of the day - mimosas and nachos! The nachos were delicious and so filling between the two of us. Piled high with veggies and layers of cheese and beans and jalapeños. The champagne they used for mimosas was delicious, but our orange juice was really watered down. They have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating and the server we had was lovely. Lots of people came in for the Utes game - it's a great sports bar to watch the games and they even had a separate room that seemed to be rented out for fans of one of the college games that was playing. A bunch of girls and I came for Trivia night and it was overall, a pretty good night. I split a garlic burger and salad with my sister and I can't say it was something I recommend to order. The burger didn't have any garlic or salt flavorings and the sweet potato French fries were soggy and undercooked. The salad came with butter (which I'm guess was for a roll that we didn't have) and was soggy by the time it was served to us. Others on our table ordered the jackfruit tacos, chicken salad and the flatbread, all with bland taste. Trivia: What is the name for an establishment that serves good food and high quality alcoholic beverages? The ambiance is the win here: Lots of cool outdoor seating with trees that provide a delightful reprieve from the busy traffic so close by. And, I suspect, provide a slight cooling effect. Gracie's was recommended a hotel concierge. On arrival it's a typical pub look. Upon entering the business we were greeted. We chose to sit at the bar. The business is a typical bar area with several TVs. We went early so the ambiance was slow but nice. I chose to have the Reuben sandwich and my friend had the Bison Burger. The Reuben was good. The corned beef was fried a little hard for my liking but I thought the flavors were good. The fries were good and crispy. The bison burger was juicy and not dried out. The bartender was friendly and knowledgeable of the beers on tap and the food menu. Over all I enjoyed the visit and would come back to try the Bison Burger or the French Dip. Popped in here to watch the Penn State game while visiting SLC - great community and had a whole room off to the right when you walk in set up just with PSU tvs. Server was great, some delay in getting a drink because of unclear stock from the bar. We came here to try the brunch and maybe the chicken strips we'd heard good things about, but the experience didn't go as planned. After ordering drinks, we didn't hear from anyone again for what felt like 3-5 business days. We figured it was the brunch rush, and with only two people working, they must've been busy. It had a laid-back vibe with mostly guys watching sports on TV, keeping a bit of space between them at the bar--quiet enough to chat a little, but still some background noise. We waited, got our drinks from someone rushing past, and thought, "Okay, we'll get the next round and food when they come back." But they never did. We sat with empty glasses for 30 minutes before deciding to leave and try Squatters instead. Even then, it took 10 more minutes of waving to get the check, leaving us pretty frustrated. I did come back a few weeks later to give it another shot since so many people seem to love this place. I got a flatbread, but it was nothing remarkable.
