Our home was flooded with sewer water and we had to get all replacement furniture at a reasonable price. Fernando and Sandy and the team (Stephan, James, Tim, Javi, Steve, etc.) have been so incredibly helpful to us in getting us back into our home with some really nice buys and help loading, etc. Karen up front is awesome as well, always friendly and always willing to help. Graceful Buys in Grapevine offers a fun shopping option right between charming Main Street and the mall. The staff constantly works to juggle serving customers & receiving and stocking incoming donations. Don't come for perfection, regular retail services, or same ol' same ol'! Instead, make Graceful Buys a regular stop if you like serendipity, a wonderful mix of staff & customers, and asking questions like "What's in that box?", or "Wonder what this is?", or "Wow, this is a tenth of what I would have paid brand new"! read more

The couple of times I've gone to Graceful Buys have made me seriously regret buying new sofas at full price. Graceful Buys always has the nicest couches that look brand freaking new and spotless. Alas! I've mostly used Graceful Buys as a place to pick up lamps and picture frames - things that feel silly to pay full price for. We recently got a bad ass Trivial Pursuit Pop Culture for $4 - woot! They were nice enough to let us double check that all the pieces were included, even though it had a sticker saying it had been checked. They've also got lots of books here - specifically, I would definitely go here for children's books before paying full price elsewhere. The books are cheeeaap and it seems like they are always running specials on them to keep them moving. I haven't seen much in the way of clothes that I liked - the nicest things that get donated to them end up at Style & Grace, their upscale resale shop, so I haven't really done any serious looking through their clothing. But for furniture, décor, and books, it's totally worth giving Graceful Buys a look before paying full price. read more

First of all, GRACE is a charity, and I have gotten to know a couple of the Execs and employees, and firmly believe that they practice what they preach and give back to the community. That alone makes shopping here feel much more worthwhile to me. Secondly, the quality of product is superior to most other comparable places, and is an overall step above your average "thrift store." It is incredibly organized for a mostly volunteer-run store and the sales are really amazing! I have not purchased any large furniture here (yet!), but I am truly impressed by the amazing deals and high quality of items that they offer (I am currently eyeing the most comfortable squishy leather recliner in the world with a 99.00 price tag. If I had the patience to wait for it to go on sale, it would be only 50.00). I have seen what a powerful impact GRACE and their charities have had on our community here in Grapevine, and am even considering volunteering here. I would happily vouch for this place. In short, you might have to do some digging in the clothes area, but it's really worth it! Grace is FANTASTIC! The store is clean and organized. Volunteers/employees are constantly straightening up. Selection is great, I always seem to find something. They're open on Sundays and often have special sales! Regular prices are very reasonable. The store doesnt smell funny like alot of resale stores do. The people are sooooo nice and friendly. The inside store is small and hit-or-miss ... but the back lot is where the magic happens. There's a mountain of junk behind the store, that you can sort through to find awesome deals. Some of it's stuff that's been donated recently and hasn't gone inside the store yet. Some of it's too big to fit, or too low-price to make dragging inside worth it. So definitely walk around and go back there to look through the rows of stuff! But beware, they only throw a tarp over it when it rains, so the stuff might get wet in bad weather. I got a bunch of metal filing cabinets for $5 each that are usually $20-50 on craigslist. I got a huge glass/metal coffee table for $25 that would have been $100+ if it went inside the store. I've gotten closet shelves, light fixtures, office chairs, and a bunch of decor items. The guys who work the back lot get to write down whatever price they feel like, so sometimes you luck out with great bargains, and sometimes the dudes are trying to raise maximum funds for their charity. Still cheaper than garage sales. This place is also a goldmine for large picture frames if you like to replace ugly prints with better art. 2'-4' frames with glass for under $20. DVD's are $2, and books are cheap. Never found good clothes though. read more

This is one of the best thrift stores in the dfw area for furniture and home items. They have a huge back area outside and It is always full of incredible deals including couches and ceiling fans and light fixtures and baby items and bedroom sets and lamps and shelves and everything you can think of inbetween. And their prices are phenomenal. Fernando is always there and is always ready to help. He's awesome, Friendly, Helpful and gives you a great deal. I love this place and visit daily. The merchandise changes frequently and there is additional furniture in the back. The seasonal items are in the front and the selection is varied. I have recently moved and found a chair, lamp, 2 mirrors, and numerous pictures that looked practically new for my apartment. If your item is large then you will have to deal with a Caucasian man in the back of the store "outside". He is hateful, rude and mean for no reason to anyone who is loading or unloading. He acts as if all customers are a waste of his time. I come to graceful buys because I believe I the cause. However this man makes so many people's experience very bad. He acts as if he is the supervisor or man in charge. There is a way to deal with people who are showing patronage to this establishment and it is called customer service with kindness. Dealing with this man with the chip on his shoulder makes all who come across him feel as though Grace is lacking much Grace in its volunteers. read more

I have been here many times and have bought many items. i went 5/7/22 and bought an $80 craftsman toolbox. i explained to them that i couldn't take it Saturday. i left my contact information on a sold ticket and went back Monday since they are closed Sunday and they sold it to someone else. This of course is AFTER I paid cash for it. My ticket total was about $140 since I bought other items such as a few shirts and an oval mirror for 24.99. They lady named sandy calling herself a manager refused to give me my money back and gave me a stupid voucher. She said she would check the cameras and see what happened. but couldn't give me my money back even though the girl who I bought it from at the register was there and informed her that I did in fact pay for the toolbox. so she said she would see what happened. I explained to her since you are going to do that and see that you sold it twice you should be able to return my money. i told her this is horrible business and told her I left a bad comment on their company's site. She said oh you left a bad review on yelp then i won't be able to get your money back At all. I told her again no I left a bad comment on the companys site. i had To hang up on her. In the last few months I lost about 50 lbs and needed to replace a closet full of clothes with smaller sizes. I was able to do that thanks to their great buys and continuing changing selection. So I buy my current size clothes from Grace and donate my former size clothing to them to complete the cycle. Best way to understand their business is to go into any one of their stores and look around comparing quality and prices andI feel you will not be disappointed. In doing all this, Grace gives a great deal the the community. All in all, a great form of recycling. read more

This is a small thrift store operated by the Grace Mission in Grapevine, TX. They are a touch more expensive than most thrift stores, but they only sale items of the absolute highest quality. All other items received in their donation stations are redistributed back into the underprivileged community throughout the area. The store itself is incredibly clean, the staff is wonderfully friendly, but parking itself can be somewhat problematic during certain parts of the day. During peak traffic areas it can be very difficult to get into and out of because of overflow traffic on Northwest Highway, caused by construction on 114. read more

I came here to look around and was not greeted by any employees, which I don't mind that much since I like to shop alone and in peace. I ended up finding a large ottoman that I love for only 25$! It had a few stains on it but nothing too noticeable. When it came time to load my car the nice lady brought it out to my car for me. The cash register lady was also very friendly and made me want to come back and visit again. I live down the street so I will definitely be back for furniture. I didn't see many shirts or shoes that appealed to me but the store is pretty well organized. I prefer this location over the Euless location as the prices are more fair and the people are ten times nicer! read more

I have been shopping at Grace for many years. I am not sure what has happened, but this place has really gone down hill. There has been a lot of change in personnel and the place is really, really, really, dirty and dusty. My allergies can't handle going in there anymore. And, the inventory is stagnant. So many items just are not moving in housewares anymore. I know there is a very new young manager there, but no one is paying attention to the cleanliness of the store, the display of items, nor retiring items that are broken and not moving, that need to be removed and replaced with new items. I donate to Grace regularly and have yet to see one of my items on the shelfs. Where do the donations go? You have a lot of resale competition in the area, and you are toward the bottom of the list right now......so much room for improvement :( Disappointing. read more

This place is awesome! Lots of good clothes for kids at really good prices. They money actually goes back to the community and to people in need unlike goodwill. They run specials from week to week that change. They get some pretty good vintage housewares and have some nicer newer furniture. They have two locations, Euless and grapevine. I love this place! Very clean and organized for the most part. Its a charity benefiting people in the community so it's definitely worth dropping in. I buy something almost every time. Don't forget to head to the back parking lot to check for additional furniture items that won't fit inside. Of course they have some of the stuff that Grandma called and she wants it back, but for the most part it's a great place. So much better than Goodwill by far!!!! read more

All the staff are so kind, helpful, hard- working, and genuine. I am so incredibly grateful to have an amazing resource such as Graceful Buys in my community. I have bought so many things from Graceful Buys from yard tools, camping gear, a sectional, clothes, toys, odds and ends and even rare vintage pieces. I usually check there first before other stores when I need something such as an umbrella or anything! I am happy to serve and contribute as a customer in the name of helping others in my community. I always come here for holiday items and eclectic decor. I wanted to make a ceiling-to-floor "library" but books aren't cheap. I started swinging by Graceful Buys once w week for about a month and stocking up. The books are usually 50cents to $1 so even much cheaper and half price books. Everyone is really friendly and they love to share whats going on at GRACE which I enjoy hearing. read more

went to graceful buys on 1/9/16 and went to the back lot to look. i found two golf bags where all of the golf stuff is. when i got up to the back door with them to get me slip, the guy there said, "oh, this bag should have been put inside, i cant sell this to you at the normal price." so he took the bag inside to talk to someone and came back and said he could sell it to me for $15. all of the golf bags outside are always $5. he said, im just one person and cant be everywhere. regardless of who put the bag back there, it was there, and they should have honored the price that they normally charge. this was an older bag probably from the 80's and was really not worth anymore than the other old bags. poor customer service! i really enjoy shopping here but they need to do something about the checkout. it is ridiculously slow! read more

Stopped in here today for the very first time. I have officially fallen in love. LOL Some things are extremely great prices and some are a bit over the top. Earlier in the day I had paid retail for a shelf easel for a picture. Even on sale, the easel was almost nine dollars. At Graceful Buys, I found one gently used that I liked WAY better for four dollars. So I bought it and the one from Jo-Ann's will go back. (Good thing I saved that receipt!) The employees were super nice and offered my grandson a sucker (after getting permission from me first.) She also gave him a big ole teddy bear and just bragged about how great of a baby he was. The only "bad" thing I can say is that everything furniture related that I wanted to buy, was already sold. Shucks!!!! So I will be going back again and again. We left with a couple bags of things and very satisfied. Found me a new hole in the wall. read more
