There are not enough dressing rooms open. Which is ridiculous for a cloths store. How can you improve, open the dressing rooms in the back of the store. Hire people to work TV monitors do not provide customer service. After shopping around the store I needed to use the restroom. I went to the back of the store to ask the lady running the dressing room where I could find the restroom. She mumbled something to me that I could not understand. I asked her to repeat it and she snapped at me and practically bit my head off! So very rude and impolite. This store has great selections but I guess because I am African American I guess I fit the profile of a thief so every where I turn I see people following me acting as if they are putting up clothes or checking my dressing room. Pls not everyone you see is a thief, especially someone like myself who is a military veteran an knows better. I am simply here on my off day and just need to shop because I am going out of town. I love perusing through Ross stores, especially in the home section. They contain a nice variety of unique decoration items, from statues to picture frames. I found a Buddha statue for less than $15, which I know I would easily spend twice as much for it in a mall. The check-out process is nothing short of painful. There were two employees working the registers, one for check-out and one for returns. This for a long line of customers. This is especially a problem when some customers are buying a cart full of clothes. Ugh. Please hire more employees to help at the registers! read more

We had to return two night lamps because those didn't go well with interior. Somehow we lost the receipt, even though price tag was intact but store manager returned much reduced price than what was paid for. Moreover she was rude in attitude and showing off that it is a big favor from her. It occurs to me later that I should have returned back from store. Avoid going to this store because they do not have appropriate return policy and staff is rude. I would recommend ColleyVille store. read more

Bleh. I love Ross, but this location just lacks the energy and selection that the other stores have. The shelves are dirty and disorganized, and there is just not a definite "please shop here" vibe in this store. Usually I come out with an item or two when I go shop at Ross, but I definitely came out empty handed and a bit more disappointed than I thought I was going to be. Ross usually has a great selection of shoes, but my size six shoes were all tattered and looked beaten, and roughly shelved with other sizes. I know it may be the customers who did this, but no matter what time of the day I visit, it always gives off the impression that someone just doesn't care. Wow! I have never been treated as poorly as I was tonight by Ada, evidently the manager for the evening. I spent over $300 yesterday evening,and when I returned home found that one of the items was not in the bag. 7.99 item. I would have just said it wasn't worth the effort but it was one of the specific items requested on by Angel Tree list. I called and the man that answered told me to come in and they would give me the item. He was the one that helped me with the packages, as we all know one is not allowed to bring their carts outside the store. When I brought in my receipt showing I had purchased the item the register person said go on and take it, but the ADA person said ,"no, she had to review the security tape to make sure I wasn't trying to scam them." Oh my goodness, I certainly would not drive 30 minutes to get a 7.99 item, wow! After leaving me standing for 28 minutes, she returns and said it was in the bag when the man brought out the packages, I have no clue if it fell under the car or where, just know that I didn't get it. Poor customer service! I will not be spending anymore dollars at that store. read more

Typically these stores are unsavory, but this Ross was cleaner than most. The only issue I was having was the LACK of air conditioning, even my 3 month old was sweating! The clothes were fairly organized and didn't appear to be "picked through" by a pack of wild 4 year olds, so that was a plus. I may consider trying this location again, on a cooler day. read more

This was a perfectly ok store. The selection was less than the others, but it was clean and almost organized.

As far as Ross stores go, this is the cleanest and most organized I've ever seen. As for merchandise, the selection beats other stores we frequent in Rockwall, Mesquite and Dallas. read more

With retail business at its lowest in years you would think that employees would go out of their way to help the customer---WRONG at Ross Grapevine. I sent over $100.00 on mirror glassware last night and asked for it to be wrapped and double bagged--okay no problem. I went to leave with a cart FULL and was stopped by the security police saying I could not go out with the cart---I'm in a handicap space first space in the parking lot near the store--sorry can't go out with cart-took first sack with the help of a customer who so kindly left the line to help and moved my car to the door. ( I work retail too and I get the joke about running all over for the carts) Went in for additional bags--he would not even help me to the car- or open the door-said he couldn't help me. My comment was well what about the 3 others up there? Again the kind lady in line helped me out. He stood with his arms crossed like a big bully. My comment was its too bad that such cumtomer service which costs them nothing toward a paying customer is so bad. No comment when I asked for corporates number!!!!!!! read more

For my 1st time in a ross i did like the prices. I wanted to the whole store :) but my Partner gave me a 300 limit so I had to pick n choose what I wanted. So I go to the back to try on my clothes I decided to try on the pants then the shirts, as I got back to the fitting room the lady was already eyeing me so I know she counted the pants as I counted so the there was to other girls behind me I let them go before me they only had a couple things so she just handed them a tag and let them go didnt ask how many or what so as I got up there I said I have 8 (which is the limit) so was like no I need to count them I was like ok so she goes hum there is 8 I was like yes thats what you saw me count thats what I told you I had so can I have the # so I go back there and what I didnt want i have to her I said im keeping 3 here's 5 she goes ok wheres ur # I said o I left it im getting 8 more things to try on she says ugh no I need that # and I need to count what u brought out I said ok I gave you 5 and and showed you I have 3 thats 8, she goes I need you to go get that #, I said ok i'll get it when I go back to try on more clothes she goes no ur not your gonna go it now so at that moment i was upset I said ok if you want that dam # so bad you go get it. I told my Partner lets go i'm not going to try on anyhing else lets just leave, my partner tried to calm me down and atleast mirror try-on what I might like, so i happened to feel eyes on me, as i look up the store manager (Diana) and floor/door greater (Stephan) were watching me and pointing, okay I didnt have baggy clothes on neither did my partner we didnt have any bags just my wallet and they were watching us like we were stealing. Okay first of all for a store manager she could have came up to us asked how we were if we needed help with anything but yet she's stakling us what kindof customer service is that ive work in customer service for 9 years and never have i treated or been treated this way so i wanted to leave all the clothes and just leave; a Store like this does not desever for me to pay for there employment so my partner said at least get the pants I know you liked them I was like ok and after that were not coming back this is bull crap, so the cashier (kishawn) was nice she apologized, which I think the store manager should have been doing not something your emplyees should be doing for you. I will never be going back to a Ross. Worse experiece ever, I went to have a great time way from home 1st store I went into and it ruined my whole day. read more
