This new principal is making the school unbearable. My daughter comes home every day upset, saying…read morethe principal is rude, constantly and yelling. When my daughter had an anxiety attack, instead of helping, the principal told her to "get up and go to class" while she was crying and unable to breathe. That's not leadership -- that's cruelty. The new bathroom rules are beyond ridiculous. Only ONE bathroom pass per class? My daughter said a girl stained herself during her period because she couldn't go. That is humiliating and completely unacceptable. Students aren't even allowed in buildings or outside during lunch, and the new drop-off/pick-up system has already caused accidents. This principal is doing the most but not even doing anything to protect our children. The students look miserable every day leaving school. Parents -- beware. I am switching my daughter to another school.

This review is solely for the July 4th celebration…read more I was looking online for fireworks near my sister's and was happy to find out this school would be having them for the first time this year. Before, we would either drive out to Corona or Rancho Cucamonga, or we'd celebrate out where I live in L.A. However, L.A. is now moving towards drones which are boring in comparison to actual fireworks. I know drones are better for air quality and are reusable, but they're just not the same. There's something about hearing the loud bangs and the surprise of what colors and forms will come next. With drones, they're silent and there's no spontaneity, just tight formations. Anyway, I was so happy that there'd be actual fireworks here. We got there a few hours before the 9pm fireworks because I knew there'd be food trucks and entertainment beforehand. Parking was free and easy since they have a few big parking lots. Once the fireworks were over, though, it was a nightmare because no one was directing traffic and everyone was leaving at the same time. At one point I had 2 cars from different directions trying to get in front of me so that we made a Y. Meanwhile, people were walking and squeezing past. It was so dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. There were metal detectors and security guards at the entrances which made the event feel safe. We also saw an ambulance truck parked close to where the fireworks would be as a precaution. The singer of the Journey cover band said that the event was planned out as early as January and you could tell the organizers put a lot of work into it. Everything was laid out into sections: food, shopping, games, a car show, Porta Potties, the stage, and the gated off area where the fireworks would be. We were easily entertained for the few hours we were there before the fireworks. That being said, I know that this was this event's first year and they really went all out. My worry is that they'll start cutting costs as years go on and it won't be as good anymore. In the meantime, I'm hoping to make it a tradition for us to come here for July 4th every year from now on...Unless I remember how much I dreaded the parking situation and decide it's not worth it or they switch to drones or both.

The gym itself is of a good size, but the challenge for our school (Bishop Amat High School) is that we roll deep, meaning we have a HUGE fan base, which results in a very large turnout of support for all events affiliated with the school. The challenge at this gym was that there were not enough seats to accommodate everyone, which was not the school's fault, as they did their best to accommodate our school. THANK YOU! As far as our school is concerned, we won the game and now move on to the CIF Division II Championship game next Friday night.

The nurse doesn't help just sends you with ice or if you're sick she gives you salty ass water. The teachers give you packets and don't teach, "the instructions are on the packet". Dirty environment. The bathrooms have graffiti, vapes on the ground, and some times human waste. Most of the bathrooms don't even have toilet paper or working sinks. The teachers don't send you to the bathroom if you need to but if you really gotta go it's a detention after school.

This Morning on October 1st, we discovered that there was an on going school shooter investigation…read moresince Tuesday, September 29th. No email, No phone call, No message via Parent Connect App was sent out regarding this serious issue. I had to find out from both of my brothers in RSO as they were questioning if their nieces were attending school today. I replied yes and was quickly advised to remove them and take them home. The day prior to this incident I sent my child to do tutoring after school. Mind you this information is on a printed document the school sent home to the children. The school informed us that they found my child wandering around and that there was no tutoring in the library for over a year now. So why would this school advertise that there is tutoring after school on Wednesdays?? Again there has been a school shooter incident since Tuesday. This makes my stomach churn in the worst possible way. Clearly there needs to be a re-organization with this current school's mediocre administration. They have already failed these children and the parents and it hasn't been even 2 full months into the school year. There is absolutely no reason to withhold this type of information from the parents. There is absolutely no reason for the 2 overweight deputies that do absolutely nothing but sit behind that desk and tell us parents we don't know what we're talking about while laughing and while they were doing ACTIVE/ONGOING sweeps throughout the school. There were many parents this morning in the office picking up their children. Why? Because the Elementary school next door sent out a proper notification regarding this. Disgusting staff.
