He was even able to make my scar better from my first c section! I had keloids and he was able to make it a clean line. Now in 2023... I went in for my Annual check up, and he found that I had a cyst on my left ovary! My stomach was growing and I have been having pains but I thought it was my other issues that were causing them. He quickly issued tests to see the cyst, and found out I had endometriosis and the endometrium (chocolate cyst) on top of all my other issues... he then ran other tests to see if I was fit for surgery and got me in as soon as possible! Now I'm 5 weeks in recovery after a successful hysterectomy, and cyst removal! I've heard horror stories from other women about other obstetricians just minimizing their pains... you will not go through that here... He truly cares! And will do the very best for you! Dr. Marinescu... He is a gem! He's brilliant! And he's such a skilled surgeon... And I feel blessed to have him as my Obgyn... I will forever be grateful to him! And also his staff are all super sweet, and amazing too!!!!

If you plan to have a c-section exclusively and get aesthetic treatments after. Cons: After going several times, I realized this office can be disengenuous, and felt like they wanted your money more than the care. The care provided felt fake. You can tell by how bougie they look. They promote a lot of superficial services like body sculpting after pregnancy, vitamin shots, etc. You get charged for everything. And the front office doesn't always let you know this until you get sent a bill in the mail. They also would do everything they can to keep you in office, including trying to get you to schedule exclusively with their ultrasound technician, who is only there on Tuesdays. For my last ultrasound, instead of being flexible and scheduling me earlier or recommending another place for imaging, the front desk made me wait 2 weeks out for the next available appointment. By then, the tech said my baby was breech. I'm new to babies and didn't realize what that meant. I thought it meant there was time to flip him and that they would talk to me about ways to unbreech him. They otherwise just told me he was breech and did not elaborate. They also scheduled me with the nurse practitioner who also had trainees look at me without talking to me first. You can only ask so many questions. NP didn't mention anything about what a breech baby meant. Fast forward two weeks at 38 weeks. I see the doctor and she says, baby is breech and almost immediately wants to schedule a c-section. Like, whoa, I researched online and some articles say the doctor typically tells you these things starting week 30 give or take. But they went straight to the c-section. Honestly, I'm upset this was brought up so late into the pregnancy, as it could have given me more preparation time... Even mentally would have liked to have been prepared. Here, I only had two weeks to figure it out, and did not even know you had to do it before week 39..! I wasn't going to jeopardize the health of my baby and the surmounting stress of delivering so we went ahead with the scheduled C-section. But they don't care about what your outcomes are, they only care about the money. And it's really obviously that a big surgically procedure is going to pay them out way more than a natural delivery. The doctor did everything she could to convince me how good the surgery was going to be. I told her my concerns, and my biggest was the recovery that is needed with any surgery takes time. It really felt like my concerns were brushed under the rug. Also, if I wanted her to answer questions, I needed to take my partner with me, otherwise, the doctor rushed me out the door. Their office also sucks at communication. I should have taken the first red flag when I was billed for gender testing, but they chose an out-of-network lab. Not only that, they didn't tell me it was out of network. I still had to pay. And the biggest issue came when they filled out the pfml paperwork and for my work, and I had my pfml time reduced despite having a c-section. Knowing they will probably just charge me again, I didn't bother, and made sure that my time in their office after delivery was done. Months later, I'm still billed, for the hospital procedure, and other than the surgery, doctor literally only looked at me for like 5 minutes and I'm being billed, $1000+. On top of that, they upsold a silicone strip that's literally only 6 inches, and it's $80; newsflash, me: it's a fraction of the price online. RIP. I ended up calling their office one last time to close any outstanding bills, and I really wanted to laugh in their face when the admin said if I don't I wouldn't be able to come back. LOL! The assumption that I cared enough to do that. I just care about my credit score. I'm not coming back ever. Overall, I don't recommend this office for lack of sincere service, and very bad communication. For something so big like a pregnancy, I'm really disappointed and I really want to kick myself for screening this office better, and went somewhere else. This office just happened to be in the right area and the hospital that I wanted, but could have just chosen just about anybody else.

I can see how she may not be for everyone but I have no doubt in her ability to provide proper care. She may come off cold but I never once felt like she didn't care. As annoying as it was, she ordered an extra glucose test for me so we knew what my baseline would be. Her threshold is also higher so I had to do the longer test after failing the first one. I did end up with gestational diabetes the second time I tested so it ended up being the right choice. Most importantly, she was there the day I went into labor even though she had PTO. According to my nurse, she prefers to deliver her own patients which I'm learning is not the norm. She came in to check on me the day after also. If you're looking for an OB to feel like your friend she may not be the best fit, but if you want someone who takes your care seriously, she's the right person,

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this was one of the worst medical experiences I've ever had…read more As a new patient, I arrived early, completed what felt like seven different intake forms with my full medical history, and expected my first appointment to include at least a basic introduction and conversation with the doctor. Instead, Dr. Ahdoot walked into the room, barely acknowledged me, and immediately told me his assistant would be asking me questions. There was no attempt to introduce himself, build rapport, or make me feel comfortable. The assistant then spent a long time asking me dozens of questions that I had literally just answered on all of the intake paperwork. After waiting again, Dr. Ahdoot returned and proceeded to ask many of the exact same questions his assistant had already asked me. The entire visit felt disorganized, repetitive, and poorly communicated. During my breast exam, a comment was made about my breasts being asymmetrical, despite it not being presented as a medical concern. It felt unnecessary and left me feeling even more self-conscious. The pelvic exam was the worst part. I received virtually no warning before the speculum was inserted. Every gynecologist I've seen before has explained what they were about to do or warned me that I would feel pressure. This experience felt abrupt and uncomfortable, leaving me feeling more like a procedure than a patient. Neither the assistant nor Dr. Ahdoot could locate my IUD strings. After checking, he told me that either my IUD was probably still in place because I wasn't having periods, or I "might be pregnant." Hearing that so casually, without any explanation or reassurance, was incredibly unsettling. When I said I didn't believe pregnancy was possible, I felt dismissed rather than listened to. He literally rolled his eyes at me. I had also come hoping to have my IUD replaced, but I was simply told that it couldn't be done that day because there was a process and that I would need imaging before returning. I completely understand that there are medical protocols, but the way this was communicated lacked empathy or explanation. The appointment ended just as abruptly as it began. Dr. Ahdoot walked out without saying goodbye, asking if I had questions, explaining next steps in detail, or even acknowledging me as a patient. The assistant simply told me to get dressed. I sat in my car afterward crying because I felt dismissed, violated, unheard, and completely uncared for. A gynecologist is someone you trust with extremely personal and vulnerable aspects of your health. As a first-time patient, I expected professionalism, communication, compassion, and respect. It included a long medical history and review of symptoms. The practitioner instructed me to keep track of urine hormone sampling for a month and complete labs timed with my cycle through Quest. They also wanted me to due a supervised anti-inflammatory diet with DIM supplementation that cost $1400. I declined to do the diet and DIM supplementation as it seemed very costly. Due to changes in my cycle I wasn't able to complete the blood labs for over 2 months. I messaged the practitioner in the clinic portal and she wasn't able to answer any questions through their messaging system. I would have to schedule and pay for another appointment to talk to her. Today, when I went to Quest lab to get tests done, they said that the company ID was invalid for billing and unless I had insurance coverage I couldn't get the labs done. I called the clinic and they said I'd have to go to a different website for discounted labs, fill out a new lab requisition, then make another appointment with Quest labs and pay a cash price. Nothing about this process has been straightforward or easy. I am concerned that even if I do get the labs done with this other system and schedule my follow-up with Karli the PA the outcomes and costs won't be worth the trouble. The follow-up 30-minute appointment is due to be $350 and I will not be making one. In the hour appointment I had with Karli, she seemed very nice, but I don't have faith in this company's ability to care for client's virutally.

I had to rush to the office at 8:30pm to get an emergency replacement-over an hour later than the correct injection time. Even more alarming, they messed up our email address and sent sensitive medical information, including my ID, to the wrong recipient, violating HIPAA regulations. This was a serious breach of privacy and trust. Additionally, an intern nurse attempted to draw my blood but had difficulty locating my vein. After two unsuccessful and painful attempts, the process had to be restarted by someone else. It made me question the level of training and oversight in the office. Despite two failed IVF rounds, Dr. Meng told us she wouldn't change anything about the protocol. There was no openness to reevaluating or adjusting the plan based on our results, which felt dismissive and discouraging. I rarely leave reviews, but I hope sharing my experience helps others make an informed decision. Fertility treatment is stressful and emotional enough-patients deserve a team that is organized, responsive, and respectful of their time, health, and privacy.
