Our tour guides were very informative. My suggestion would be to equip them with microphones so hearing is easier due to many maritime noises.

We couldn't hear anything he was saying, and that comes from all of us in the back of the trolley. It was unfortunate because he was great. Nothing bad about Jim but just bad sound system. Now I have to make a comment, I watched everyone get off the trolley after a wonderful day and I only saw two people give him a tip. Of course I gave him a tip. I can't believe people actually don't tip for a wonderful afternoon.

We hadn't done this for a while and we called several available services for a quote. We found Majestic CLS to offer the best rate, and it included the gratuity so we gave them a try. We won't ever use anyone else!! Amani (the proprietor) picked us up at our home in a spotless Mercedes sedan class vehicle. He was right on time, loaded our luggage into the back and we were on our way. Amani is a young veteran and a man on the way up. He was courteous, well dressed and politely engaging (which means he will converse if you'd like and provide music or movie to watch if you don't). Majestic wants you to have the best experience possible and Amani and his staff will make notes (what beverage you like for example) about your preferences for possible future bookings. While we were in Florida we heard there might be a big storm in New England on the day of our return and Majestic was in regular contact with us so there was no hiccup. We arrived at Logan and Amani was right there to bring us home. Great company, great owner, great experience. We're Majestic CLS customers from now on!

My wife and I spent a lot of time comparing dozens of tour operators in the region. Our criteria included safety, experience, cost, and flexibility. In the end, we were most impressed by Rogue Island Tours, which operates out of Newport, Rhode Island. They offer private tours of the area, with options including walking tours, driving tours or a hybrid of both. Our tour guide, Jeff, was knowledgeable and courteous. He took us to some hidden gems in the area and gave us a very personalized experience. We also loved that he provided us with snacks, drinks, and even stopped to get us a local frozen treat. Overall, we had a great experience with Rogue Island Tours. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to tour New England in a private setting.
