She started with a detailed dry massage and then went in to the oil massage. The dry massage hit the spot, it was the perfect pressure. When she started with the oil massage I was sold. She hit all the correct pressure points and removed all knots. I have a desk job and I run. The pressure was definitely higher on the oil massage but I've had worse and it felt amazing! She focused on my shoulders and lower back both of which I needed the massage for. I didn't even need to tell her, her experience spotted my problem points. I was able to relax although it was very lightly painful. It wasn't like some of the rough massages I've had in the past. I didn't leave the place in pain but left feeling so relaxed. I go every month for a massage and this was literally the best massage of my life. The only caveat is that I wish she had focused on my legs a bit more. The place is very clean, it has rooms, they play light music but you can hear if someone is talking next door. The people are friendly as well! I will recommend this location, I haven't been to the one in Manhattan but I've read not good reviews of that location. I will be back and would like to try out their other services! Yao Yao literally has magic in her hands!

This was my very first time getting a massage with my significant other. Disclaimer: I am a very…read moreticklish and sensitive person, so my tolerance for massages is pretty low. For a first experience, this was pretty good! Some notes about the experience: Pros: - I felt like the person performing my massage went at just about the right intensity; I was slightly squeemish at times but it wasn't unbearable. She went in with both hands and elbows (for deeper pressure) and gave all parts of my body (my backside that is) good attention. The con touches this slightly. - Hot stones and towels are included with the massage, just the right temperature! Cons: - Our massage kept on getting interrupted, which both masseuses apologized for. Regardless, it was slightly annoying. I'll give the benefit of the doubt that perhaps there wasn't enough staff that day. - Out of all the areas massaged, the roughest (which I was not expecting at all) was my head. It felt good at first, but then they went waaaaaaaay too rough, to the point where it feels bruised today. Staff were very kind and friendly. FYI: $15 per hour tip is required for services. If you're in Flushing looking for a massage, not a bad place to find one!

They were very accommodating since I was 30 minutes late due to difficulty finding parking; I would either get to Main Street in bus or give yourself at least 30 minutes to find parking. The facility itself seems pretty clean and the staff was very friendly although they did use a translating app to communicate with us. They give you a robe to change into to keep your top dry and cover you in warm blankets. It would be nice if they played some relaxing music in the background to make the experience even more relaxing. The whole massage is almost an hour. They untangle your hair and give you a dry scalp massage. Then they start wetting your hair with a circular shower head which was very cool. They wash your hair several times and give a scalp massage. They also give a neck massage and shoulder massage. All the products they use smell extremely good and felt great in my hair. At the end of the massage, they dry your hair and leave it somewhat. It would be very cool if they offered a salon service where you could pay an extra fee for them to style your hair so you could leave with very clean hair and styled. I would have also liked if the scalp massage was a little more rough, it was softer than I liked. I would probably try another location for a scalp massage to compare the experiences.

No frills or thrills and limited English communication - so if you have special needs it may be difficult to convey (skin condition/hair needs/etc). Groupon deal for 2 came out to around the same as their in store offer $90/2. (Sometimes Groupon runs extra discounts so you may get it for $82-$90 depending). Our experience- was able to book 2 days ahead of time for an 11am appt; they texted morning of to confirm; check in w Groupon; guided to your room; remove anything on your face/top half (jewelry, glasses, bra); shoes off; put on a half gown; lie down and close your eyes and hope for the best. Since there's no communication throughout the process (we literally exchanged no words aside from the initial, strip instructions); this is all assumptions/spotty memory on my end: Dry head massage, shampoo, soaped up head massage, conditioner, vertebrae/shoulder massage (was really really good) but it's odd because you're all soaped up and I can't tell if it's conditioner they're rubbing your back lol. Regardless, my tech was an angel unknotting my shoulder. Fancy water show is just that - there's no magic from the crown of water you see everyone advertising. Followed by arm/hand massage, rinse, par-hair dry, some final product in your hair, sit up, final pat down/back shoulder massage voila, 1 hour. We tipped our techs 15 each in cash because they were with us the entire time and fully engaged. I'd say we enjoyed ourselves- just wish we knew what exactly the treatment entailed. This was like the ultimate luxury shampooing before an actual hair cut- I think they should definitely collab with the hair salon right below them, that's something I'd be into for an ultimate self care treat.

My current lashes (not even a week later) looks as empty has it would at week 2 and I take care of my lashes :/ She was very accommodating though because I had to move my appointment last minute due to an emergency!

I didn't really notice the difference but took her word for it. A week after I got my lashes done, practically all the extensions from my right side had fallen off. I showed the technician a picture of what microneedling is, as she did not know (this should have been my first sign). I am not sure if the language barrier or general communication got in the way, but the girl ended up doing a hydrafacial instead. I admit I didn't fully understand what she said, however, I did not appreciate the "do what I want" style. During the facial, the girl brought in a machine for the hydrafacial and it did not work. I am not sure if she was new, but it was extremely distracting during the facial, and eventually she brought in another machine. I found it tough to try to relax through all the commotion, and the fact that the girl did not wear gloves while moving all these machines and touching equipment, and coming back to my face without washing her hands. I am no expert, however having clean hands when your work requires touching someone's face and doing extractions, is a pretty fair ask. I have very sensitive skin, I did not appreciate her touching my face with her bare hands after her return. I will not return, unfortunately this was a waste of money and time. I have never walked out of a facial more stressed than before, counting down the minutes for it to be over.

The positioning was a little awkward for me personally, but that has everything to do with my own build and the neck injuries I carry around, not anything on their end. Once you settle in, having your head massaged and washed with herbal treatments is genuinely relaxing. My hair felt noticeably soft by the end. I got a good laugh when the technician recommended option eight, which is listed as promoting hair growth. I figured she was just being diplomatic given what is happening up top, but then I found out she told Wifey the same thing. So either it is a standard recommendation or they are both very polite. The session runs about an hour and it is a fun experience, as you can see from the pictures. After that we moved into the foot massage, and for me that was the highlight of the whole visit. I will be honest, there were moments when the pressure hit some sensitive spots and I may have startled the technician a little. At one point I drifted off and twitched myself awake, which was probably more entertaining for her than for me. But I stayed present the rest of the time and genuinely enjoyed it. If your legs take a beating on a regular basis, this is the kind of relief that actually registers. The pricing is reasonable and the experience delivers. If you can only pick one, go with the foot massage. It felt great and I will definitely be back. We needed this. After a few chaotic days we took a day off and we treated ourselves, finished it off with some food and dessert, and just enjoyed the time together. Every once in a while you have to do that.
