I hate to give not great reviews to what seems like nice people, but the point of this app is to get accurate reviews to make informed choices. The fact of the matter is, both on the phone and in delivery, these people are friendly, professional, quick, everything you'd want. The only problem is that the food itself is pretty disappointing. Smells great, that's what got me to try them - co-workers ordering delivery from them. But then after receiving soggy and poorly seasoned hot wings and fries (and I was pretty hungry, but then struggled to eat it), and asking around among co-workers, apparently that's the concensus on this place's food. Sorry, Grab & Go, I wanted to give you a better review based on service, but the food itself seems to have a lot of room for improvement. I tried once again to give GRAB AND GO a chance to get there cold Sandwich. I'm a person that doesn't complain, all I have to say is that once again highly disappointed. Paid 12 dollars for a turkey and swiss all the way and for me all the way means lettuce tomatoes purple onion salt pepper and oil and vinegar and don't forget the mayonnaise, what I ended up getting is basically bread with mayonnaise couple pieces of lettuce 2 slices of tomato and drenched in mayonnaise disgusting. Some mayonnaise is great but not the base of the sandwich, also there wasn't even no swiss. Went back and let them know I give them credit for trying to fix it but wasn't successful all was done to the sandwich when I went back was that there was way to much turkey let me not leave out the fact that the bread is horrible just a awful sandwich that was made for me and I just got off work this all happened at 2 a.m. . Now here is the kicker the reason I'm complaining is the fact that the sandwich was $12.00 and for what I got it was more like a 4 dollar sandwich. This is why I'm here writing this review. 5 times I tried because the people are nice but they need to get people that know what they are doing for the price they are charging. Just wanted to tell like is. My gf ordered 2 Cheeseburgers and two fries. It took about an hour and the delivery driver had trouble finding our apt( but they all do) The Bill was 14.00 and change. Let me tell you The Burgers and fries were fantastic! Flame broiled burgers, lettuce, tomato and special sauce on a hard roll! The fries were abundant and seasoned to boot. Great burger!! I order the same sandwich every time I go to Grab & Go and they mess up my sandwich every time. I usually let it slide but this is the last straw. I walked into the store and ordered my sandwich and they still managed to make it wrong. I asked the guy over the counter if he may remake the sandwich and what I got was the same chicken from the original sandwich but this time they washed off the sauce from the chicken and put the one I always ask for. Let me start of by saying, if there were an option for no stars it would be Grab and Go .. I never thought I would be writing this , because I didn't have too, but today is different. I will never again order from Grab & Go!!!. After many years of using there service for quick meals and late night snacks with the family, I've changed my mind. I contacted Grab and Go directly (outside of third party delivery services) and was approached with a very dull, Grab and go, after I mentioned what I needed, they clicked without verifying delivery address, delivery time and the price of the order being placed. I called back a second time after they disconnected abruptly, and the same gentleman (in fact he was not) basically told me he had my information under my number so there was no need ( how am I supposed to know that as the customer who hadn't order from this place in almost two years or more). (he clicked again abruptly) An hour and half later giving the circumstances Grab and Go, still hadn't shown up, worried about the delay since there located only 15 mins from my house, I decided. I called back asking about the delay and how come I never was given a total or how to pay. The same idiot, mind my language said he didn't need to tell me that, and that I should know to mention what I want to get from the order. This is a disrespect to common customer service, but if he had only asked more questions with some interest. Top it off, he claimed he didn't send the driver with a card reader and only cash will be accepted; I told him about his service, and instead of acknowledging this disorder given to a longtime returning customer, he said well it's not my fault and that I should have to mention "what is my total" "how can I pay" "do you have my address already on file" and I say this with all my soul reviewers, don't eat from this place. There food is good, but the people who make it are disgusting, the place it's made in is disgusting (connected to a filthy car shop) and after today's service which I have never experienced from a local Paterson-Passaic food restaurant, I'm disappointed, upset and mostly disgusted with the disgusting service received today. I denied my food, and sadly for the delivery driver I explained to him the service his boss or colleague displayed. Food Is really good and staff is really friendly and attentive. Location could be better and may be annoying at times to find parking. But they have everything you would want in a 24/7 convenience store. Sandwiches are really good. Both hot and cold. I recommend the chicken cutlet, grilled chicken and basically anything with chicken. Prices are also descent. Better than competitors, such as, Quicks on Crooks Ave and Montclair Deli. read more
