Last Friday a special order was placed with a Monday (next business day) assured item being ready for will call. Come Monday I drive 25miles across town, which is also the exact opposite direction my job is located. So actually a 50mile round trip added to the 40mile trip I was going initially. I receive a report that the trip was wasted. Why? Because the guy who took my order and payment wrote MINNEAPOLIS as the destining for pickup. So I'm assured it will be redirected back to Madison Wisconsin. Tuesday. I didn't drive to the place on Tuesday, I made a phone call. My wire is now in Milwaukee still, I was informed that instead of the wire being sent all the way, they would reissue the order FROM Milwaukee and send it west, 70miles right Madison. But someone again messed up. Wednesday? Sure. Nope. It still wasn't here yesterday. At least not in the morning. So another wasted day. Finally it's Thursday and my wire is in my hands. Not a word of apology or any kind of acknowledgment that it took literally a full week. I'll of course allow myself to get over this irritation but it really does feel like I am a nothing of a customer. There are four other electrical suppliers on Madison's east side that have been doing business with, and one I only very recently became aware of on my western side of the city is gay I'll very likely establishing a business relationship with in the future.

Ryan, the brave soul, showed up at our door ready to battle a very moody washing machine. Ryan diagnosed the problem almost immediately and repaired and ordered the parts we needed. Ryan was on time and very professional- likable. I can tell you the reason I use Radtke Appliance is for this very service. Costco and Best Buy would not be able to measure up. My position on Radke has unfortunately changed. After being convinced to buy a top of the line Bosch dishwasher, they have failed to stand by a flawed product or deliver timely customer service. After waiting a week for a repairman, a service call was scheduled and a time window given. I missed work to accommodate their schedule to only be given a call 30 minutes before the time table expired to say "something came up." I've been without my "top of the line" dishwasher for over two weeks and no resolution in sight. I'm sad I put my faith and hard earned dollars into this company that does not care about repeat customers. I will never be a customer at Radke again. Buyers beware.

The day they came to install there were 2 employees-2! They didn't have the equipment to dig the pool, thank goodness we had a guy doing work for us elsewhere that could help with the dig. I thought they would be billed for the work but we were! & not even offered a discount for this or the water we had to supply. Beware they are not straight shooters once the contract is signed!

To get familiarized with managing a pool we scheduled a pool opening and training session so that we could get some experience. When the appointment rolled around the person they sent completely answered any questions I had. At the same time he did not do any of the product pushing that I expected to occur. Instead the treatment I got was exceedingly fair, with him even lowering the cost of the service for things he didn't have to do since we had managed it beforehand. All in all, an excellent experience. The same could be said for my experience in the store itself. The employees there were more than willing to answer my novice pool owner questions and made reasonable recommendations. I was also pleased to discover that they offered free water tests which let you know what needs to go into the water to balance the levels. I'm not sure if that's universal to stores in the pool industry but it's definitely nice to have here.

She as well could not figure it out and another salesman was called over. He seemed so disinterested that he just walked away. I decided to go to Ace Hardware and was in and out in less then 2 minutes at the same sales price. No manager to be found and lack of training made this a poor experience.

I walked in overwhelmed by my many options and the math I thought I'd need to do to figure it out. The staff at Blodgett greeted me instantly and put to rest my anxiety. I browsed the beautiful outdoor area and greenhouses and came back into the store with a rough idea of what I needed. From there the staff took over: helping me to calculate how much dirt and stone I'd need; giving me suggestions for how to save time and money on my project; setting up delivery. Four days later, right at the time I asked for it, the stone and dirt were delivered and it was just the right amount. I would send anyone to Blodgett for their landscaping needs.
