The wait staff was super attentive and moved as a well oiled machine. It felt very much that we were the only party in the restaurant. Everyone said their food was great. I can't remember hearing a single complaint. My dish, the salmon, was perfectly cooked, along with the asparagus. Coming in second place, were the cheddar mashed potatoes . Served in their own little cast iron dish, cheddar cheese melted on top. Like, seriously? Hot, flavorful, and perfectly mashed. Certainly a memorable meal

Truly, the best service we have ever had anywhere. The food and drinks were delicious, but I have to say it was the experience of the private dining and all the extras they did is what make it so special. On top of being completely attentive to us the entire time, he took photos and videos of us that we will cherish forever. What a beautiful night it was for our family. Thank you for making it so special.

The service was exceptional with Ephrain providing two servings of freshly chef-made hot sauce/salsa to me after I indicated that I love spicy food. My entree (octopus) was my favorite of the trip. After I told him I loved chocolate he also surprised us with a special sugar-free gluten-free chocolate dessert not on the menu which I found even more delicious than the "regular" chocolate cake. To top it off, the chef of Siete visited our table to chat with us. It was a wonderful and memorable experience.

Siete ended up being a pretty good breakfast spot during our stay, although we never got the chance…read moreto try it as the Mexican restaurant. It happened to be closed on the night we planned to eat there, which was frustrating. Honestly, I wish the resort would provide a schedule at check-in showing which restaurants are open and closed each night. We ran into that issue with more than one restaurant during our trip. For breakfast, Siete is very much a traditional buffet. There's a large selection, but some of the breads and pastries sit out in the open and can get stale pretty quickly. The omelet stations were one of the better features. They have two of them, which helps keep the lines moving, and there are a ton of toppings to choose from. The omelets were pretty good, although like most omelet bars, they were slightly overcooked. The standout part of breakfast was the fresh fruit and smoothie station. I believe the gentleman working there was named Marco, and he was awesome. He made our smoothies three different mornings and was always energetic, friendly, and happy to help people figure out what flavors would work well together. They had an impressive selection of ingredients too, including things like prickly pear, aloe vera, and other fruits and vegetables you don't normally see at a breakfast buffet. They also have cereal, meats, a Bloody Mary station, and plenty of other breakfast options, so there's something for just about everyone. Service overall was just okay, but the hostesses were really nice and welcoming. Not the most amazing breakfast buffet I've ever had, but it was a solid option each morning, and Marco alone made the experience a lot more enjoyable. I would definitely eat breakfast here again.

Delicious Local Food!…read more The place was really well put together, nice decor and spacious. We went for an early lunch so the place was pretty empty which was great because it felt like we had the entire staff helping us, things moved quickly. We sat down on the water, great views into the bay. I could not find a menu online so Ill try to give a review of our food, but I am limited. We started with the dried worms and ant larva. These were served with tortillas and taco makings. The worms were crunchy with a bit of nuttiness to them, almost like sesame. The ant larva reminded me of a type of sticky grain, with a earthy flavor with notes of honey. Both went well with some quack and salsa in the tortillas. On the next round we had: Beef tongue tacos. These were the best tacos I have ever had, the meat was super soft, actually like butter, with a nice salty edge to it. Soft shelled crap tacos, they were good, the crap had good flavor and was very soft. Grilled flank steak, this was served in a spicy sauce and was amazing both by itself or in a tortilla. The meat was a bit salty, but soft and well seasoned. Lastly we hit desert. We had a creme brulee of some sort. Great shell on top with excellent custard and fresh fruit. We also had a cheese cake that was good, not to sweat and creamy. Along with my meal I had a virgin passion fruit daiquiri made with seltzer and it was so good I had two.

Benazuza is a 20+ course foodie experience that will approach everyday ingredients in a fun way…read more Benazuza is located in The Pyramid at the Grand Oasis, specifically inside of their casino area. If you are not staying at the hotel, be sure you tell the gate keeper that you are going to this restaurant when approaching the hotel. The workers will point you towards the restaurant. The hotel itself is beautiful, it feels like you are walking through an indoor plant nursery. The meal started off at the bar outside of the dining area, where reimagined cocktails are served before your meal. My party and I were served by Luis here who was the sweetest and thoughtful. Luis's cocktails set the expectations very high. Then you are moved to the dining area where you are offered a wine menu and the appetizers and entrees begin coming out. Each dish was explained and plated perfectly. They are small plates, not full plate coursed meals. I wish the cocktails were served at the end of the meal as the heavy sweetness factor did fill us up by the middle of the dinner, we were stuffed. If you are in cancun I believe that this is a necessary stop in your itinerary. For around 125USD per person you will have a classy dining experience. Email the restaurant beforehand to make a reservation, they're not the best with their communication but once you get a reservation, you have no worries. Get the bottle of wine with dinner- treat yoself.
