Great food and great views! This was within our hotel which was just a quick walk downstairs. The service was great and everyone is so attentive to your dietary needs. Would definitely come back for lunch again before the beach/pool!

Normal for a poolside meal, the drinks are expensive, some are good and some aren't. I really liked the Sea Breeze and Mai Tai. The pool side servers seemed to pay more attention to you and wait on you better if you stayed at the chairs for lunch instead of going up to the dining area outside. All of the food that we ate at the Beachwalk Cafe was good, but the service brought the rating down. Tip : sit near the infinity pool if possible because we had better waitstaff there too. All in all a regular nothing special cafe

Great spot to cool off and grab lunch. The food at the JW is great either on the beach or at the cafe. Awesome beach views from the cafe. Enjoy!

    Shrimp nachos

Just like every place so far at JW the service was great as were prices. I had shrimp nachos. Thick chips with melted cheese (a little much for me) then retried beans and a huge amount of shrimp. No skimping here. Served with side of sour cream, olives, guac, jalepenos and pico. They also bring out complimentary chips with red sauce, green sauce, pico and guacamole. Husband had the club. Crustless toasted bread with jalepeno aioli, layers of fresh meat and bacon. Served with thick cut fries. Beautiful setting off the water.

To be honest very limited selections on everything, ok ordered flautas good portion served with lettuce but they didn't wash it , over all $38.00 dollars for 6 flautas .

Great place for casual dining at the JW. Perfect salads to split for two. Lime punched Mexican Ceviche, so good and fresh, I had it twice.

Beach service is amazing, I loved the steak quesadilla. It is a tad bit expensive, but it's expected with pool side service.

Big mistake. Avoid at all cost. Would have given it zero stars but what the heck I would have given it negative stars if available.

We stopped by on a Tuesday evening around 7:30 and it was hopping. The restaurant is two levels and has indoor and outdoor seating both. We were seated outside next to the street. We started off the meal with complimentary bread, which was amazing as we were starving from a long bike ride earlier. The menu has a good selection of tapas as well as a couple different types of paella. For the paella, the minimum size they can make is for two people. We tried: Tortilla de patatas (110 pesos) - we enjoyed this Chistorra i.e. grilled Spanish sausage (95 pesos) - too salty, had to eat it with the croquetas to make it more palatable Croquetas de setas (95 pesos) - was okay but had a weird / slightly sweet aftertaste I didn't like Paella de montana (230 pesos pp) - chicken paella was good. I wish there was slightly less chicken and more rice I'd say the paella was the best part of the meal. The tapas were a bit hit or miss. But overall it's a cute restaurant with decent food, and we enjoyed our experience here.

The kitchen is open so you can peer in to see your food cooking. We ordered the seafood paella which takes about 40 mins to cook at about 250 pp and you can only order this with a minimum of 2 people. So I would suggest to order first and the other stuff can be ordered later. Seafood paella was subpar because the rice was burnt, not charred. but considering we were in Mexico - it was a nice taste. We loved the pulpo appetizer though - it was soft and had some great flavors. The people are genuine and they don't attempt to scam you. So we were happy about that!

If you are not staying at the hotel, be sure you tell the gate keeper that you are going to this restaurant when approaching the hotel. The workers will point you towards the restaurant. The hotel itself is beautiful, it feels like you are walking through an indoor plant nursery. The meal started off at the bar outside of the dining area, where reimagined cocktails are served before your meal. My party and I were served by Luis here who was the sweetest and thoughtful. Luis's cocktails set the expectations very high. Then you are moved to the dining area where you are offered a wine menu and the appetizers and entrees begin coming out. Each dish was explained and plated perfectly. They are small plates, not full plate coursed meals. I wish the cocktails were served at the end of the meal as the heavy sweetness factor did fill us up by the middle of the dinner, we were stuffed. If you are in cancun I believe that this is a necessary stop in your itinerary. For around 125USD per person you will have a classy dining experience. Email the restaurant beforehand to make a reservation, they're not the best with their communication but once you get a reservation, you have no worries. Get the bottle of wine with dinner- treat yoself.

Once we stepped onto the deck overlooking the lagoon, the whole experience elevated even further. The scenery was stunning, soft lights reflecting off the water, a gentle breeze, and live music drifting through the air like the perfect soundtrack to an already unforgettable night. Then came the food, each dish was its own little masterpiece. The bread service alone set the tone: warm, golden rolls with just the right touch off salt. The wedge salad followed. It was crisp, cold, and generously dressed, with smoky bacon and bright tomatoes adding all the right contrasts. The dry-aged steak was the star of the table, cooked perfectly with that deep, rich flavor only dry-aging can create. The roasted peppers and silky sauce on the side made every bite feel intentional. The octopus was another standout, tender, beautifully charred, and plated with a vibrant puree that balanced the dish with a touch of sweetness. One of the best plates we had. The table got more entrees since there were 8 of us but didn't get pictures. Sea brass was another favorite. Even the lobster soup arrived with flair: a velvety bowl paired with a seafood-topped toast that brought texture and richness together in one elegant bite. The beef tartare with fries was classic and fresh, refined without losing its fun. Dessert turned into a full performance. The liquid-nitrogen ice cream came with swirling clouds of cold vapor, dramatic and delicious. The birthday cake arrived crowned with berries and a sparkling candle that lit up the whole table. And just when we thought the night couldn't get any more whimsical, out came the towering blue cotton candy, playful, over-the-top, and impossible not to smile at. Harry's doesn't just serve dinner. It creates an experience, one where the service, the scenery, the atmosphere, and the food all work together to make you feel celebrated. Our night felt luxurious, thoughtful, and truly unforgettable for my husband's 50th birthday! Well done Harry's!
