It is rare to see someone work with such joy and enthusiasm, but it's obvious that he cares for his customers and town. I apologize for ordering sweet tea, I forgot I was north of I-40. The only drawback from the whole meal was a spoon so shallow I ended up trying both sides just to be sure. If you were trying to slow me down so I could savor the soup, you underestimate the lack of shame I'll have turning the bowl up.

It was crunchy and well sauced but perhaps a bit sweet for my tastes. But still delicious. The hot and sour soup was actually sour, which is rare these days. I got an extra liter of it to go it was so good. And the steamed rice was obviously freshly cooked. Evidently this family came here from the West Coast, and Nebraska is definitely the better for it. I think dad is the main cook, and his sons are young men who are fast and friendly and funny, you can hear them talking and laughing, the atmosphere is wonderful. I'm from New York, and these guys could succeed in New York City Chinatown, no exaggeration. Don't miss it.
