My friend owns a small business in the Santa Monica Area and I am located in Seattle. I wanted to send her something to make her birthday special because I knew she'd be working that day. I looked at flower arrangements and edible arrangement, but both did not have great reviews for any local deliveries, then I stumbled upon this GEM! They handcraft and deliver locally to the surrounding LA area. They couple flowers and treats together, in the most beautiful and intentional way, with a ton of varieties to choose from! I ordered the regular size 'Anastasia', and opted to have the strawberries dipped in milk chocolate. The berries traditionally come dipped in light pink white chocolate as far as the photos on the website show. I also added the chocolate 'happy birthday' sign. Communication was fast and friendly, and so was delivery! They delivered closer toward the end of the delivery window, so just make sure you time it correctly! I've included the text message and photos my friend provided! She said everything was fresh and beautiful, the treats were absolutely delicious! Money well spent! read more

There was no note, however, stating who they were to and from, and they came in a plain brown bag, with a box inside, tied with a plain ribbon (see photos). We're stuck across the border because of the current COVID19 issue and not able to travel back to L.A to be with my cousin who's birthday was cancelled. I received the boxed flowers with pink chocolate dipped strawberries and blueberries, pink macarrones, mixed in with the most beautiful flower arrangement in a matte gold box with the lid on the bottom surrounded by crystals, all wrapped in clear cello wrap! Very impressive and will use myself to send! A week later they are by my bedside and still look so pretty, even the roses that have dried look pretty and stylish...very French country shabby chic! After we ate the delicious treats and took out the wrappers, we are left with a gorgeous flower arrangement that's still thriving, and beautiful! Highly recommend! I'm extremely disappointed. It's really embarrassing to give someone flowers that die the next day. I will sadly not be ordering from here anymore. And to blame, the customer is really disgusting because my mom's kitchen is not hot or warm. In fact her house is always cold. I explained that I could leave right away and be there by 4:45 pm, but was then told that would be too late. That felt contradictory, especially given the stated hours. Either way, I'll be taking my business elsewhere where customer service is clearer and more accommodating.

Turns out that I also wanted arch flowers for our ceremony and even though it was 4 weeks before the event, Dottie's Flowers delivered and they didn't break the bank. I started with zero idea of what I wanted, so they were helpful in guiding my chaotic bride brain and once I was able to look through some inspiration photos online, they matched my image seamlessly. The artist arrived to the venue timely and all of the flowers were absolutely beautiful. She also arranged the linen on the arch to go with the flowers. I have to say, I was such a mess leading up to my wedding and I was quite frankly over organizing everything, but Dottie's Flowers really exceeded expectations and the flowers lasted WEEKS after the wedding. It was absolutely incredible.
