Chef Martin Juneau and his team at Pastaga (love their brunch if anyone is looking for a good brunch spot) have created Monsieur Crémeux, a bar all about slushies and soft serve ice cream. They do vanilla ice cream and then offer different augmentations to said ice cream - in the form of different sundaes or a Mont Blanc. I decided to go for the pecans, maple bites and maple syrup sundae. Off the bat, the soft serve vanilla ice cream is killer. Nice soft silky texture with a great vanilla flavour. Great base to add some sweeter additions. The maple and pecan crunch added some nice contrast to the smooth ice cream and the maple syrup... well it's maple syrup people. You all know what that adds to a sundae. Just a great sundae - the perfect summer treat as you walk around downtown taking in the sights and sounds. Cheers!

They looked really nice and the staff was also extremely friendly and helpful with our questions! 4/5 starts because the slush were not extraordinary.

The price-tag was decent, only $6! So I grabbed one and got some lemonade to go with it.... and disappointed would be an understatement after my first bite. Sure it looked appealing with lots of meat but the taste/sauce was pretty plain to me. It lacked character and emotion... ultimately I felt forced to eat so mediocre and once I ended up halfway into the sandwich... look at that... no more meat... just lots of salad leafs though? I've had a lot of pulled pork in my life and this didn't hold its ground at all. And the lemonade? It was pretty watered down. This was shameful. I consequently helped myself to some homemade lemonade down the street at Ben & Jerry's... which was made completely in front of me. Delicious.... Perhaps a bad day but not a good experience. All in all, a solid 2.

They were out last night serving food late in the night and it was just amazing how they were outside preparing food for a bunch of yelpers working super hard! I decided to get their pork tacos (cochinita) the guacamole and slaw was amazing and the flavours blended super well it was made fresh and just deelicious . The pork itself was good but a bit dry the toppings definitely enhanced the flavoir and juiciness of the taco The price is about 10$ for 3 tacos a bit pricey but that's the food truck prices pretty standard.. overall service and food was outstanding. Place was busy too for a weekday afternoon, with bikers stopping in for a quick bite. I don't ride bikes, I drink coffee..and that's why I decided to stop in! Besides the array of baked goods, sandwiches and salads, there was one item that really ci-haut my eye; they have a lavender latte??! What?! I grabbed a tall lavender coffee with almond milk for 5.50$ and sat on the little patio upfront to enjoy my java. The scent of lavender was intense upon my first sip but I quickly got accustomed to the odd flavour and thoroughly enjoyed my cup of joe; the espresso was not very acidic and the almond milk was perfectly sweet, so overall, this coffee was perfectly balanced! Maybe it was the lavender or maybe it was the summer like weather, but I felt totally zen and content. The price may be a little higher then other shops in the corner who offer better coffee but the scenic view and odd lavender coffee has intrigued me enough to return for the spiced latte...stay tuned.

We've all been there, and I can certainly relate. The amazing story about L'Entre-Pots is that @mtlpancakequeen was looking to build her database for pancakes and aiming to find the best ones in the city. Opened since 2011, Alexandre Beaudry and his team not only excel in customer service (which we all know, something that I profoundly value) but also care about the sense of family amongst the staff members. L'Entre-Pots offers catering services, breakfast, brunch, lunch, dinner- I mean pretty much whenever you're hungry. While the weather still allows it, they also have an extended terrace for those who want to enjoy their meal in the sun with a mimosa. While I also have been a guest during their popup and collaboration project, I can only consistently vouch for their brunch menu for at least the handful of time I've been there.
