Went here on a Saturday evening around 7. I understand the strip is busy, especially on nice evenings. The wait for a table wasn't terrible, so we went to the outside bar. They had a full bar, only 2 servers, both of whom looked at me and served people near me. After 20 minutes of waiting for a drink we left. Bartenders were less than attentive or giving uneven attention. We sat first says you saw outside at the bar. People on other side recieved attention. Couple next to us were trying to get bartenders attention to no avail. They just wanted to pay. Not sure if wind really blew his bank card or he tossed it on the floor. But he had to say my card blew on the floor, bartender got it and he asked to pay. Even after that other patrons got attention and got refills while we sat empty handed. Eventually we got a founders all day and a left hand milk stout. The GOTL beers were too basic a pale ale and the other I think was a lager. The view is good. Come for the view of the lake and drinks, but not for the service. read more

Ugh... I'm bummed about this place! I brought my husband here after previously being here with a friend in the spring months. We came 20+ minutes out of our way to come here. The only bar that was open was the outdoor bar, which we thought was ok because of their prime lake view. Well - yikes. It smelled like the bar hadn't been deep cleaned in years!!! It was literally a MESS. I wish I took a picture of it. The bartenders had complained 75% of the time. Must have been a rough summer. They only had TWO of their own beers on tap. How can you say you're a "brewery" is beyond me. Overall, not a good vibe. We left after one round. I just feel like they are missing the boat here. Prime waterfront location, recently renovated the inside (it seems like)... it could be so much better. I'll try back in a few years maybe it will be better. read more

We stumbled upon this place after our friends motorcycle broke down across the street. very nice outside patio probably the best on the strip. the food here amazing we only had the loaded fries but damnit was a meal practically it was loaded with pulled pork barbecue sauce and cheese and made with real potatoes and also sour cream on the side . they also sell a lobster corn dog which we didn't try but hear they are the bomb. they take lobster tail cut it in half and dip it in a cornbread coating then deep fry it and serve it with remulaude sauce and they also have daily specials. this place is open all year round and on weekends they have entertainment see their facebook page for upcoming events. this will be our new go to place to eat while in GOTL as everything else there is fair food stuff. also they have a lower patio that you can sit at for dinner right on the water! read more

Went up to GOTL for a winter getaway with some friends and came across this wonderful brewery. The bartender, Erica is an awesome human and was so helpful and fun each time. The owner, Jimmy, was pretty wonderful as well. If you are heading up to GOTL any time of year please be a sure you stop in this place. read more

This place was recommend to me by a friend and I was not disappointed. The first thing we saw was the breathtaking views of the lake; either choice of inside or outside gave you the same spectacular view. We were promptly greeted and choose to sit outside. The waitress - Tara- took excellent care of our group of 3. For drinks - my sister and I both ordered flights of beer; when I hesitated on my finally 2 choices she was quickly recommend some that fit into the rest of my flight. For food- we did appetizers - crab cakes, lobster corn dogs, and brew chips. Out of the 3- the lobster corn dogs was the table favorite; the brew chips were crispy and delicious; the crap cakes were good but I wished there was a touch more aioli to dip in. Spectacular views , great service, and delicious food- GOTL hit my top restaurant requirement on the head. There definite plans to return and try the rest of the menu. read more

I had the Ribeye steak and it was cooked to a perfect medium. Props to the kitchen staff. Lobster corn dogs were a great appetizer. Well worth the money. So we were up here at GOTL for the week on a family vacation. Decided that the last night we would try a local restaurant. Wish we never walked into this place. 1. asked to sit on patio, they say sure but only 4 at a Table bc we would use too many chairs. Way to put the guests first 2. When we get outside all 15 of us were served by one server.... 3. That serve could only fit so many drinks on a tray so about 15/20 minutes we finally all go drinks. 4. But that didn't mean the sugars came out with the iced teas we ordered. And there was not sugar in about 70% of the sugar packets delivered to our table. So another trip back to get more sugar packets and then.... 5. Finally 25 minutes later we are asked what we want. Here is where the lies came in. Server told us that their famous lobster tail corn dogs were ordered by table next to us and how they raved about them so we think $24 is a bit much but we could try. We come to find out..... they were horrible!!! Table next to us said you shoulda never ordered them. They didn't like them. The aioli was like baby poop smeared all over the plate four pieces came and when you cut into them they still have raw wet batter. Also forgot to mention that the girl in charge of flipping the tables is not worried about getting your order taken but about getting her worn out ripped menus back. Not bad, but not great... When we walked in the hostess was nowhere to be found, but kinda gave us attitude when we walked through and back and asked if we're supposed to seat ourselves. Not a big deal. Then she sat us at a dirty table, kinda annoying. We just moved to the next one. The menu was a bit short but had a number of good options. I thought the Irish burger, (which was pretty much a Reuben on a burger), was brilliant, but they were out of corned beef, so no go. How does a restaurant run out of corned beef? I had the breakfast burger instead. It was also a great idea, and tasty as you'd hope for a burger with bacon, hash browns and egg on it. My wife asked to sub fries instead of chips, and they said they don't have fries. What restaurant doesn't have fries? Our food was good and the location/view is great, but this place has a lot to improve. read more

This review is based on service and not the food since we couldn't get seated. We went in on a Monday around 6:10 and they were overwhelmed. Said they'd be seating by 6:30. We were the 2nd people in line. At 7:00 they still didn't seat any of us waiting so we left. We understand places get busy and can't handle it but the manager yelled at one of the workers in front of all the customers when she was just relaying that the tables were cleaned off. FANTASTIC!!! I can not say enough great things about my experience here!! I went there with a group of 9 others and we were seated immediately, greeted by an awesome waitress (I believe her name was Amber :/), and had a super positive experience. I loved their GOTL lager!! It was super delicious and ice cold! And the food....we all got a bunch of different things...blueberry salmon salad,wings, club sandwich, perch sandwich. Everyone was completely satisfied with their food! We all raved about it and bragged to our fellow vacationers. Went there on a Friday night wasn't too busy got seated right away. Then the nightmare began. Waitress came to the table had her little iPad and hand that she ordered with. She was more focused on the iPad then us. I ordered an iced tea $2.59 my husband wanted a sample of their craft beer. The ice tea came out, and it was 20 minutes later I had to ask for his sample. We placed our order which was the salmon and the cheesesteak and chips $11 and app of pierogies for $9.00. I guess since I ordered the pierogies they felt like I didn't need the chips. Alls I can say is live and learn. I would've been better off going to Mr. hero and get their cheesesteak and picking up a box of Mrs. T's.... very overpriced food for the quality. They probably have the best food menu on the strip on the lake, in my opinion. Their loaded fries with pulled pork and BBQ are delicious, and my personal favorite thing I had was LOBSTER CORNDOGS. Lightly deep fried and huge chunks of lobster- YUM. Their mozzarella planks and pretzel were mediocre, nothing to rave home about but still tasty. They had a good choice of craft beers on their menu, and the outside patio is beautiful. It overlooks the lake, and there's also an outside bar. It was PACKED when we went on a Saturday evening, but the bartender was able to keep up very well. She was feisty but friendly, I don't know her name. But she had a sense of humor for sure. I noticed people inside were getting angry because servers weren't seating them, but they had a hostess who was just busy a lot. So people were agitated it took a while to get greeted. But, it was a Saturday night around 6:00, so really, you should expect a restaurant to be busy so you might have to wait a little...just my opinion. Warning... did not eat here. Stopped after seeing reviews about outside bar on Lake Erie. I am rating for that reason. Great outside bar! The beer selection was good and varied. I was hoping to try their own brewed beer. As of this date, they have not received permitting from Ohio. The bartender said "all brewed, bottled, barreled and ready to go once "ok'd"". They are doing the best they can with the cards dealt with Covid. Always great to see some masks worn as it makes me want to go back, and nice spacing with the tables. I'd really like to give this place a better review, perhaps a 3. The view is fantastic, the food is better than average, but the service deserves a NEGATIVE 5. The bartenders are as horrendous as they come. Disclaimer: The male bar tender picks up the slack of his female counterparts, but can't handle it all. We ordered a water with lemon and without ice, a bottle of beer and a vodka soda with a lime (extremely difficult request requiring serious thought and a lot of intellect). We received a water with ice and no lemon, the correct beer, and a vodka soda with lemon. Oh and by the way, this was after sitting at the bar for 20 minutes with a 38-week pregnant wife and our 3-year-old waiting for our table which took 90 minutes. We polished off our drinks in 5 minutes and after flagging down our tender 3 times, we waited AT LEAST 30 minutes for her to return for the next order. She acted as aggravated to serve us as we were to be served. Asked to speak to a manager. Got one. It just happened to be the same dude busting his hump behind the bar. Explained our experience (thus far). He apologized. Free drink? Nope. Free dinner? Nope. Free dessert? Nope. Awesome. Gracias GOTL, you sure know how to ameliorate a problem. We did eventually eat: my server-recommended perch dinner was Luke warm with GOTL's definition of a loaded baked potato: fake cheese with a sprinkle of chives. Regardless, the food was tastey. After living in Miami Beach, FL and New York City, I honestly thought that bottom-of-the-barrel-dirt-service-with-an-attitude was a thing of the past. Had a great experience there on Sunday evening July 8, 2018, after having a bad one waiting 40 minutes at another GOTL restaurant. We had a great server, with other friendly servers also interacting with us. We had the pretzel appetizer, which was huge, as well as the loaded fries and pierogi appetizers, which were all amazing. The view of the sunset was amazing, can't wait to go back. Only negative was a nearby table chastising a waitress upon receiving their check, but she was professional about it, and handled it better than I could have. read more
