They were more than happy to make an even exchange, however they did not have the black colored bag at the Gloucester location. They were MORE than willing to call nearby stores and locate my bag. When I arrived at the Cherry Hill Mall location and explained how I was referred there, they knew exactly who I was....and why I was there....absolutely outstanding customer service. Another "popular item", had to be shipped in store. When it ended up not being in the order shipment, I just requested a refund and ordered it online. Cringing at the shipping courier, FedEx, and afraid knowing they are mostly miss with deliveries (being understaffed and overworked), I thought picking up this happy little gem of a bag might work out in my favor by stopping by my local FedEx Ship Center. Nope! Sorry! They are getting rid of their Customer Care Center, so all packages designated for a pickup will be at the nearest Dollar General. So, my beautiful bag is put on a truck for my nearest Dollar General, only FedEx has neglected to tell me now about the fee for transitioning between FedEx and Dollar General. On top of that, the tracking numbers didn't even match. I was forced to do a charge back. Ironic, given much of VV's own apparel and accessories are no longer American made. They are made in Vietnam, utilizing child labor for pennies that hand sewed that beautiful bag I thought I had. But was it worth all I have been through, nevertheless I am against child labor? Free People is notoriously expensive at full price but, once things go on sale, it's a whole new ballgame. After calling the Customer service to see about exchanging it for another size, I was told the tunic was sent from the King of Prussia store and someone would be contacted me to discuss the exchange. In a very short time, Lydia, the assistant manager from this store contacted me, I told her about the problem with the size. She was very kind, helpful, emailed me a prepaid label to send my item back, and said that when they receive my tunic, she will send me the other size. I sent my item back, and the day it was received at their store, she sent me the new one, which I received in two days. She was very nice, polite and corrected the problem right away!! I appreciate all she did to make this exchange with no problems. If you haven't shopped at a Johnny Was, you need too. Anthropologie, in my estimation, is notoriously over-priced, but post-Thanksgiving one can find a "deal." Everything in the store is 30% off. But the piece de resistance -- my reason for going -- is the sales room. 50% off already reduced prices. Yesterday I snagged a butter-soft leather dress originally priced at $328, for $89! If you go this time of year, know: ** The check-out line in Anthropologie is insane. I was there so long, I lost track of the time. ** Guard against pick-pockets and watch your purse. A woman ahead of me ran out, realizing her wallet was gone. ** Parking is crazy. The mall is huge with spaces hard to find. (After going into the Container Store which abuts the mall we walked over, never moving the car.) I like this particular branch of Anthropologie. Probably because S and I are generally successful, my daughter more so than me. (I've clearly aged out of their target market.) Anthropologie's location in King of Prussia mall is good, with Free People next door and Urban Outfitters across the way. But this is what I was talking about that the employees was not doing their job. Then when the cashier asked this sell person on the floor to look for the jeans that I was going to purchase she didn't know what she was talking about. And she ask on the clearance rack.
