DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! Every time I go in here one of the owners is arguing with their customers. They are not only rude but also not transparent with their customers. I tried to go in today to get two dresses fixed, and the woman told me ONLY as she was ringing me up that the price of the sleeves ALONE was $40 -- in total, the basic alterations were Absolutely criminal. Then, when I expressed shock and kindly told her I would like to ask somewhere else first she complained about "wasting her time," humiliating me in front of the people in line. Distasteful and classless. I was so disappointed. Do NOT waste your money there; they don't even make up for their extortionist prices with basic manners. read more

Cool accessories/clothing and alterations/dry cleaning combo store! They have some neat earrings and clothing pieces in a mid range price point. And then you can pick up your dry cleaning at some point! I like the concept and if I lived closer would frequent more for gifts and goodies! read more

I love this place! I have always had a thing where I didn't want to buy the clothes/jewelry that everyone liked and had. Bonded Boutique affords me the originality of owning something that others don't have but the variety of items that doesn't stir away from the styles and types that I like. I always go and look for new jewelry and get so much compliments from people when I wear them. They have great items on display and the styling on mannequins give me ideas on color/texture/fabric combo that I hadn't thought before. Totally recommend it!!! read more

I'm from NYC but I make it a point to either make a trip to Philly and shop at Bonded OR make online purchases. I don't like basic clothing and I really love unique pieces that nobody else has! Bonded Boutique is that kind of shop! In my closet, there are a handful of pieces that are my FAVORITE clothing items. They just so happen to be from the store. The store owner also has an impeccable, edgy, and artistic sense of style. She is so friendly and helpful. Such a cute boutique right in university city. There's so many unique clothing pieces that you don't typically see in your department store or mall. Got a very cute Audrey Hepburn-ish dress that is so classy. A good array of style is covered, so no need to fret. I always look forward to walking into Bonded Boutique. The store is quaint and chic, with wonderfully designed, one of a kind, quality made clothing. Whenever I want to find a unique, modern/chic top, sweater or dress to wear....I always consider my go to store, Bonded. They design and tailor their own clothing line. I've received many compliments on the clothes that I've purchased there. The owners are very warm and friendly and I love the fact that they are a Christ-based business....you'll always hear worship music playing in the store! Also, they provide dry cleaning/alterations and I've always had great work done..and they've added delivery service too. Oh...and they also have very nice tailor made clutches and handbags. I had a great experience here! I had never gone into the store before but I walked in recently to have a dress tailored ( which they offer there as well as dry cleaning in the back of the store). In the front of the store, they sold all kinds of beautiful clothing, scarves, bags, wallets... pretty much anything you could need for a stylish night out. I brought in my own dress that I needed tailored for a wedding I was attending the next week and they did an incredible job with it. I ended up buying the accessories in the store while I waited for the dress to be brought out! Very helpful staff, very cute merchandise, great store. read more

I went here about two weeks about to have two shirts taken in. When I left the women who took my measurements told me it was going to $18 a shirt which I was ok with at the time. I had shirts taken in once before and I forgot know how much I spent so at the time I was unaware of whether this was pricey or not. I showed up yesterday to pick them up. A different women rang me up and said it was going to be $72. I told her how the previous employee told me it was going to be $18 a shirt and that I would not have agreed to $36 dollars a shirt. She explained to me how we arrived at this amount (18 for the sides and 18 for the sleeves X 2 (two shirts)), which I understood given that I made it through the first grade, but I made her aware I would not have left them with her if I knew it was going to be $72. I told her how upset I was but in the back of my mind I thought, "hey maybe they did a great job on the shirts so it was worth it." I was wrong. When I had shirts taken in before they legitimately took them in on the sides. Not here. They just ruffled up the back and now the shirts fit awkwardly and there is extra material on the inside of the shirt. Hopefully I can find another tailor to fix the damage. Long story short DO NOT GO HERE, overpriced and they did a bad job. read more
