They were explaining why it was like a palace - because Palm Beach Tan took over a very nice salon, rather than one of the iffy ones that need renovation. Also, yes the staff will try to sell you the bigger more expensive packages and their array of products. Just go in knowing exactly what you want and stick to it. Some of the things they try to sell you really are necessary while others are not. For instance, I bought the Instant bed package that comes with unlimited sunless tanning. Of course I bought a nice tanning lotion but when they told me I needed a lotion for sunless too I was like no thanks.
