I learned about Viva La Tan from a random connection (no such thing as coincidences!) who happened to be a customer, and what she described about her experience with red light therapy and specifically due to Tania's knowledge and professionalism intrigued me. I was also interested in safe tanning since moving to Greensboro from Florida where I naturally Acquired a tan by simply walking around was something I couldn't maintain in my walks in the woods here. Despite being intrigued, as someone who is highly holistic minded, I came in with skepticism, but Tania convinced me through her patient and skilled presentation with vast knowledge and experience in her field, and she is always learning more to bring even better results to her clients, whether that's perfect tanning or adding to health practices. My daughter took advantage of the Luxury Custom Spray service here and loved her results. I started out doing red light therapy along with the bronzing bed and couldn't be happier with the results. The bronzing bed gave me the most amazing natural tan and gave me back that bit of confidence for the times I was able to wear shorts. I've had the best experience here using red light therapy, the bronzing bed and trying out the The slim/detox InfraRed Pod. The Red light gave me a forced time of relaxation and I felt like I was giving my body what it needed to heal minor aches and pains. The bronzing bed provided a natural and gradual tan because Tania understood my individual needs and preferences. She will always have your best interest in mind. But more than her knowledge of her field is her incredible kindness, her ability to work with every person, meet them where they're at, and really listen. She goes above and beyond and connects with people in a way that is lost in today's culture. She is such a light in this world and it always added positivity to my day to see and share with her. The new location is beautiful! The lobby is clean and bright and the tanning rooms are always spotless. I've been coming here for years and the staff always does an amazing job making me feel welcome and answering all of my questions. In addition to the regular tanning beds, they also have bronzing beds, spray tanning and a red light therapy bed to offer some other options. The red light bed is amazing! This is also where I purchase my tanning lotions and the staff has always been able to walk me through the different lotions they offer and even introduce me to some new products that I didn't know about. I went here to tan for a special event. I didn't use any of the other services. The owner is super friendly and very willing to help you find the lotion that works best for you. She provided a few free samples from her lotion supply and did not allow me to use my (most likely expired) lotion that I purchased a while back. However, I believe I used the second-best tier bed, but I just didn't get tan. I tan really easily, but the bed I used didn't get me dark at all (even after several sessions). read more

She takes the time to explain everything so perfectly. This is my "go to" place for everything. I use the Sunless bed plus they have new beds that are FANTASTIC! Great tanning! Plus, they have the Red Light Therapy bed that I tried and I found immediate relief from pain. I was so excited that I expressed my shock to the staff and they said it was to be expected. I've had issues with my back, neck and hip but this Red Light Therapy bed left me feeling the release of the pain. I'm excited to continue to utilize the Red Light Therapy for more benefits for my skin health, producing collagen and of course pain relief. Red light Therapy is FDA approved and I have seen the improvements in my skin, all over but especially my face. It helps to regrow hair and I've noticed that, as well. Plus, Tonya has a great skill in Custom Spray Tans. She takes such good care of you and is amazingly talented with the airbrush spray tan! This is a real treat for anyone who wants the airbrush spray tan as she is the best I've ever seen! Her customer service was exceptional and I am grateful for employees such as her, who treat their customers with kindness and care. Furthermore, Viva La Tan provides a variety of services that are reasonably priced and aren't available elsewhere. Lastly, I greatly recommend asking for Tonya for anything you need done. She Is authentic and goes over and beyond for her customers. For example, even though I was frantic in need of a spray tan last minute, she didn't hesitate to find a way to help me and fit me in her schedule the same day I stopped in! I've had tanning memberships at multiple salons but gave this place a try because of the convenience of location. I won't be returning. I don't appreciate being argued with by two separate people on separate occasions about wanting to use lotion that I had previously purchased. This salon carries the lotion I have so there is no reason I should be argued with. This issue had clearly been communicated between the two employees, one being the owner, because when I gave my name during my second visit the employee replied, "oh, you didnt use lotion last time." This was after having to listen to her complain about birds pooping on her car when I walked in. Welcome or hello are generally accepted greetings. She then told me I could only tan for 6 minutes because it was against the law to let me go longer. That is inaccurate. If a salon wants to create their own "policies" then those need to be disclosed at the time packages are purchased. read more

I came in for Red Light Therapy to treat mysore muscles, tighten my skin for scar reduction. It also helps with all lot of other things. I was skeptical about the treatment and I have to say I LOVE it! They are very informative and helpful here and explained what to except. Its relaxing, quick and painless.
