This is a recommendation for Kendall Moving, who moved my wife and me from Payson to Tennessee over…read morethe course of September and November. I'll skip immediately to the superlative description - they're an "OMG" company! We recommend them emphatically and without any exception! Kendall Moving handled our small, medium and large cross-continent move with great effectiveness. I define small as both 10 foot and 15 foot Uhaul trucks, medium as a 20 foot Uhaul truck and large as two 26 foot trucks with two automobiles on trailers in tow, one by each 26 foot truck. The point is they can handle any size move over any distance with ease and the certainty that everything makes it on time and without damage - yes, we have a lot of stuff, 2 houses combined into one. From our first meeting, Christopher Kendall displayed experienced professionalism in a way that took me off guard wonderfully. In our second phone call, I meant to tell him be prepared. We have a fairly steep driveway. He replied, "yes, I know. I Google-mapped your address. I do my homework." It just went even better from there. Mr. Kendall did an initial 3-hour walk-through of our house to identify absolutely everything we wanted to move. After the walk-through, he was able to tell us he would need two days for him and three assistants to pack everything. Then he would need three days to load up the trucks and drive from Payson to our destination in Tennessee to unload the trucks. The price he quoted us was very fair. On the first packing day, Mr. Kendall went through the house again to confirm what we had wanted to move, which was fortuitous for us. We had decided to include a couple more items. He accommodated our additions very smoothly without hesitation. Packing began. Everything was wrapped in paper very meticulously. We learned paper is not as bulky as bubble wrap yet every bit as cushioning, if the items are folded in properly. On loading day, doorway thresholds, wall corners and even the handrail from first to second floor were covered in packing blankets and tape to protect from damage. Both my wife and I had to work on those days. The flurry of activity did not disturb our work at all. Kendall Moving was extremely mindful and respectful of that. My wife and I have a stained glass window artwork piece. We were jittery about having that transported. Yet, that stained glass window along with all our crystal, china ware and pictures in glass and frames arrived at the destination as though we had simply picked up each item and moved it five feet by hand! Hopefully, this description confirms that Kendall Moving can address whatever moving needs you have, however large or small, whatever the distance. We are proof of all of it!

His help (that he called "people in recovery") was a bs way of saying charging customers for him hiring drunks. Our stuff was damaged and he is not bonded though he lied about that too. Be careful with this guy. We wish we'd have researched it better and looked at his other online reviews expressing the same concern of character. He acts nice to get your business. Whats underneath is a dishonest flake.

The primary reason that I'm writing a review is because Marcos called me about a week after the…read moremove to ask me if I would consider writing a review for him and he said that it would be a good way to "thank him" -- did he forget that I hired him to help me move and that he was paid? Shouldn't that be thanks enough? I was moving stuff from Flagstaff to Phoenix and had let Marcos know that I was running a little later than the original timeline. He said that was fine. I called him and let him know what time worked for me, and he said that was fine -- then he contacted me to let me know he was running behind (by about an hour and a half). I was clearing out an appt in Flagstaff and had lots of trash, some items that could be sold, and stuff I was keeping. Marcos asked if it would be okay if he took some of the things which could be sold for himself, to sell. He said he would return within 45 minutes to clear out the rest of the apartment, pack up the uhaul and get rid of the trash. I told him that would be fine (it would be trashed anyways). Instead of returning in 45 minutes, he came back about two hours later. I had finished all the packing I had to do, and I had to wait around for him to return. All in all, he did a good job packing the uhaul, and he was very friendly but the fact that he was consistently behind schedule, and not upfront about that was not pleasing at all, considering that I had to drive from Flagstaff to Phoenix with a uhaul and wanted to get on the road before sunset. He made false promises when it came to time, and I thought that was very unprofessional. The fact that he called me asking to write him a review seemed sort of unprofessional as well. I would've preferred an email. This moving company will get the job done and he is competent, but be wary if you are on a specific time limit.
