Was quoted $192 which seemed steep but I wanted it done right. The day of the appointment the cleaner contacted me directly and said she wanted to come 90 minutes later than the appt, which was annoying but whatever. Let her in and walked her through the EMPTY condo, and all the things I needed done. Came back the next morning- floors weren't mopped, nothing dusted, baseboards dirty, and the TOILET hadnt been touched. It wasn't even a "regular" clean! Reached out to the company, they said they'd sens someone by 11:30a (I was on a timeline this day). At 1:30p someone showed up (at this point I had had to cancel two appointments). They would not refund my money, and after the 2nd hour of waiting offered me $40 off. At that point I wanted to just punt and leave. Walked the next person through what hadn't been done. Went to eat and came back, she said she had 20 min left, I noticed the baseboards in the kitchen still weren't clean so pointed them out to her. Came back today and the baseboards are still filthy. Got on my hands and knees and cleaned them myself. FLEE from this company and find a decent place that won't screw you over.

Approximately a year ago I had used A Plus - I was in the hospital for emergency life saving surgery - and due to my health - I was not allowed to leave the hospital and had to leave my dogs alone for almost 24hrs - please understand - my leaving my dogs was NOT due to neglect - I was a day - 2 days at the most from dying - my situation was CRITICAL and the Drs stated if I left the hospital there was a very STRONG possibility that I could die driving home to get my dogs - my fear of dying was overwhelming to say the least and the thought of possibly dying driving home to get my dogs and possibly injuring/killing anyone in a car accident was not something I could risk... Unfortunately, one of my friends was not able to get to my dogs until the following day and she was aware of how dire my situation was - Needless to say, I knew that my carpeting was going to be hit with the dogs 'accidents'... About a week after my surgery I started to call around for a carpet cleaning company that would be willing to do the work without gauging me in the pocketbook... I found Alex at APlus - He was extremely kind and compassionate to my situation - He was willing to work with me in every aspect - I had never forgotten... And when I FINALLY came home - my carpets looked incredible and there was ABSOLUTELY NO 'ODOR' lingering... It was a HUGE relief to me! I reached out to Alex again, literally today, regarding a cleaning... He remembered me from the initial job and from previous conversations... How many companies will 'remember' you? Now I will not go into what we've discussed and agreed to... But, I will say this... For a company in today's era that is willing to GO ABOVE and BEYOND and TRULY helps a person and put's the customers needs before their own profits - Speaks VOLUMES... I'm old school and you are only as good as your word, a handshake means something... I can only go by the work he had done for me previously and I was very happy with results... But, the absolute generosity in helping a person in my situation, (I'm sorry I do not wish to elaborate), gives me renewed faith that there are still Companies like APlus who truly care about their Clientele... He was able to accommodate my short-notice request and crazy work schedule, and communicated well and clearly throughout the scheduling process. He showed up on time and finished when he projected he would. I was favorably impressed with his professionalism as well as the very reasonable pricing for his services! I waited five days after work was done to write this so any temporary effect would pass...you know how sometimes carpets look great right after while drying, then a few days later when dry, stains reappear and you see the work was shoddy - surely NOT the case with this work!) He also cleaned a sofa and dining chair cushions for me which look brand new afterwards. I called early on a Monday morning and asked for earliest available....he said he could come right away HashtagWhenProcrastinationGoesRight!! Russell gave me a high level overview of his process of cleaning, deodorizing, and treating the carpet. Just with this, this overview, I began to feel pretty darn hopeful that he would do a great job. Russell arrived on time; actually I ran behind and had to call to ask Russell for more time to move the furniture. He gladly said that wouldn't be a problem; then offered to come on over and move the furniture away from the soiled areas! His process began with retreating the carpet and the heavily soiled areas. Dirt and heavy traffic spots weren't so much my trouble areas, but instead I have pet stains. He then treated those areas with gentle, natural and chemical products to break down the urine stains. Next, he thoroughly cleaned the carpet. He went over the area 2x and gave extra attention to the heavy areas. After the intense cleaning, he treated and deodorized. The carpet was dry by the end of the day. There was no in and out steam job here, All in all the job took about 2 hours; Russell didn't leave until he was certain the carpet looked as best it could. He took care in his work and it showed. 2 days later he gave me a follow up call and I was happy to say no stains resurfaced and the carpet smelled fresh and clean.
