Need bamboos for that privacy hedging? I found these guys on ebay. They have great reviews on…read moreebay and have great purchase experience with them. I got a Phyllostachys bissetii common name: Bisset's bamboo for the backyard. My little bamboo plant arrived very healthy. The packaging was impressive. If I needed more bamboos this would be where I would get them from. Check their website out. They have a variety of hardy plants that will thrive in Florida. * The Bissetii bamboo is a very hardy down to -15° F. Its culms grow very dense, almost next to each other, forming a very tight grove, with foliage almost down to the ground level. It can easily adapts to all conditions. The Bissetii is a great alternative choice to the Phyllostachys atrovaginata for those living in the northern tier of the U.S.

Maya Gardens will not stand behind their plants. We have since ordered from Bamboo Gardens that specializes in Bamboo. Much better customer care.

However, today when I went to purchase several trees for our orchard, and order a large amount of soil and bark, the woman working the lot was extremely rude to us. This was so disappointing. She didn't even ask what we were looking for, just came at us with a lot of passive aggressive comments about where we parked on the lot. It's not that her requests were irrational, just the way she approached the situation was very unprofessional. As a result, I will take my business elsewhere. This was the Glenwood location.

This has been a complaint of mine and others in the community for the 7-8 years I've been coming here, farmers get up early and a farm store should be open for business before 9am!! The selection is already minimal compared to big stores not too far away and I can't tell you how many times I needed something on Sunday or before 9am and had to go to a bigger store because the Farm store is closed! It's also frustrating that the hours when you look up online are different than the actual hours!

They had to nerve to blame me for their mistake and said he needed to get the phone before he said something he shouldn't. RUDEST costumer service ever. I said years ago I wouldn't go back and I did. MY mistake. I will NEVER shop there again.

Speaking as someone who's gotten a tree by nearly every method possible: store bought fake, boy scout tree lots, christmas tree farms, and even venturing out into the woods to chop down a tree myself in the snow. This is this is the best. When you first arrive, make a beeline to the shed filled with Christmas decorations and a cafe to fulfill all your hot chocolate and cider warming needs. Next, wander next door where expert wreathmakers are at hand to whip together swag and fancy wreaths for decorating your house. Then, head outside to meet a jolly helper who will guide you to the proper hay ride to their different fields for whatever variety of fancy tree you desire. After you chop down your tree and get it loaded back to onto the tractor, relax under the large tree where they have a roaring bonfire to stay warm and enjoy the picturesque view and surrounding festivities while they bale your perfect tree for you to take home.
