I had one positive interaction with this company, an ok one, and the last one has been an absolute nightmare. The last time they were here, they were to clean up a 10x20 flowerbed - take out the weeds, preserve the flowers and hostas, then put in rubber mulch. They were also supposed to remove some small trees at the root. To do this, they charged roughly $7K. Well, they failed to do most of the work correctly. They DESTROYED my flower beds - left weeds that I explicitly told them to remove, and removed the plants that I told them to leave. What they left behind is SO UGLY that neighbors and visitors literally asked "um, what happened here?" They also failed to remove the small trees/bushes at the root. They just cut them, which I could have done myself for free. I refused to pay for the work they didn't do until they did it. Literal *months* of back and forth with their office and a visit out here to say they'd correct their error only to have done absolutely NOTHING. I honestly wish I had never used their service. Stay far, far away from Goshen. They have extremely predatory pricing, their customer service is AWFUL, and their work is terrible and not worth the price or the headache. read more

Goshen Enterprises has done the work at my home for nearly 25 years and have always done a great job - whether it was simple lawn cutting, to pruning of trees and mulching - I can always depend on them. I recently hired them for my businesses commercial work in the Montgomery Air Park and they have saved us thousands of dollars in snow removal and de-icing costs while providing much better service than the previous vendor. Too bad there are only 5 star options... I'd give more. We could not be more pleased with the gorgeous terrace wall we had installed, and every single contact we had with each of the professionals at Goshen; from the project manager (Barney) with amazing expertise, to the builders. It took them (and artisans is more appropriate word) a week to build a 50' terrace wall with a random stone veneer. Each day they left they cleaned up everywhere they'd been including the driveway. They were extremely conscientious, fast, and professional, and I think Barney came out to meet with them every day of the job. They hit an unexpected issue with part of our ground, circumnavigated that quietly, and didn't even charge us more than the agreed-upon amount for the additional materials they had to use for the fix. Barney also found an alternate place for our materials and carried the discount he received over to us after making sure the quality was still what he wanted. I could not be more pleased with the superb quality of their work or more impressed with each of their staff. read more

I highly advise you stay away from this company. We used them to put trees in our backyard for privacy. Although we made it very clear privacy was our main (only) motivation, the trees they installed provide no privacy. When we first complained we were told the trees would go quickly and provide privacy. A year later, with still no privacy, we had the owner come out and he said it will be years before these provide privacy and basically I should have known that. The only advice he had was that they need fertilizer (which he didn't even offer to do, unless we hire them as landscapers which I would never do at this point). I feel scammed out of thousands of dollars. read more

The company was amazing to work with. Barney came out gave us an estimate, really listened to our concerns and cared for our yard, as if it were his yard. We had some recent damage from a tree falling onto our home and we felt the replacement trees and shrubs as well as the mulching were a very reasonable price. I've been using Goshen for many years. They do my spring clean up--cutting back trees and shrubs, edging, mulching, and weeding my flower beds. They've diagnosed insect damage and diseases that were damaging my shrubs-- they treated them and the plants continue to thrive. The always do great work and exceed expectations. read more

We had a great experience with Kevin and his company. I needed to get a "pad" built for my new AC system. My old ones were on platforms attached to the house. I wanted a stone/gravel pad with a proper stone retaining wall, to go with our other landscaping. It was right at the start of the peak season, but they were able to fit me in and get me a quick estimate. They were also able to reroute the drainage on that side of my house. They did such a great job with the pad/wall that I hired them to also clean up my beds, mulch them and put in some new shrubs, based on Kevin's recommendations. While they weren't the cheapest option, I was really pleased with Kevin's professionalism and the company's ability to deliver the work on time. Our yard looks great now and we were able to get our new AC/Heating system installed before the big heat hit. I plan on using them for any future landscaping work. We've used several companies over the last 10 years, and Goshen has been the best to date. read more

I'd hired Kevin & his company to week & trim my rental property. He just wrote me that while he was there, he'd fixed up parts of the fence that had become unstable & loose. I knew that the fence needed repair & had scheduled someone to look at it yesterday, but Kevin was out there with his crew the day before. How great that service contractors actually take initiative to go above and beyond! We don't see that too often anymore, and I'm very grateful that guys like Kevin are still around! read more

I had a bad experience and will never use this company again. Kevin is professional in his mannerisms, but did not deliver the quality of work promised. He took his own time to rectify a botched up job, giving us a lot of heartache in the mean time. His men worked unsupervised and created issues that we had to spend a lot of time to fix. For the price we paid him, we would have gotten much more bang for the buck from other reputed landscaping vendors. read more

I had a unpleasant experience with Goshen Enterprises. The men did not do a good job. I spoke with Will and demonstrated the areas the men did not do well three weeks ago and made a request for them to fix the correction. I am still waiting even though I called twice and sent an email twice. They should have fixed the correction immediately. Very poor service. read more
