So I would like to give an update. The inhouse finance group that they use is horrible. The lady Kristie will tell you one thing and then will switch it up. I had an issue with my payment and was told to call back with an update and that she would work with me. When I called back on the date I promised she stated that it needs to be paid immediately. I'm not disputing what I owe but to say you will work with me and then change your mind is very unprofessional. Also, when it comes to the warranty I was told by the manager of Gormley's that if I have to put my car in the shop my payment will be put on the backend, I called Advantage Auto and ask them how does it work if you have to put the car in the shop due to a repair and was told the payment will be put on the back end. Well, here we are my motor went for my heat and air and when I called to discussed where I can take it to and brought up about the payment being put on the back end now I'm told payment still has to be made and when I called Tom he now stated well I would have to talk to them to see if they will do it. It's already been in the shop for a wheel alignment and other things. I am paying 400$ a month and 11k all together for this piece of garbage. Donny was my sales man and not to mention he knows my whole family. When I called to tell him I've had to take it to the shop 5 times since I got it. 04-18-23 / 05/22/23. You do the math. If I could I would give this business zero stars because they had the audacity to tell me they would not purchase my mothers car because they don't buy from private sellers to have anything to do with Camden New Jersey. He profiled me right as I sat there with him. I said oh really. He said, "Don't you know about Camden? ". "We learned over time that we have a lot of problems with the paperwork from people in Camden. So as a policy we don't really do business with people coming out of Camden City," he said. I was dumbfounded. Angry. It's absurd to say that people coming out of some of the other white communities in South Jersey don't perpetrate the same kinds of fraud, and deception when attempting to purchase and or sell cars. When I pressed that point with him he basically shrugged his shoulders and said, " hey that's not who I have problems with." I just couldn't believe this was a real conversation happening. I feel as though I have to update my previous review of dealership. As you may know I purchased a car for my mother on her birthday on the 1st of this month. I recently took the car to my mechanic to get a overall look at since i was smelling a burnt smell and since the steering wheel would shake when applying brakes. My mechanic discovered that the car had multiple oil leaks coming from different areas under the car, and I believe the rotors was the reason for the brake problem. Of course I call the dealership to schedule a time to bring vehicle in. My mother and I dropped vehicle off last Tuesday and been without a car every since. Yesterday I was called and told that the vehicle was done and ready for pick up. Since I know how much of a inconvenience it been for my mom the past week without the car, hint the reason I even purchased a car for her, I stopped what I was doing and went to pick her up, so we could go get her car. We got there, and picked up car, and maybe about 5mins after leaving dealership, the car starts to overheat, the gauge goes up, and alert sound goes off on dash. So of course my mother had to turn around and we had to once again drop the car off at dealership. Not only that but I had to yet again drive my mother all the way back home before going back to work. So now it has been a total of 7 days my mother been without a car and will be a total of $2,157 i have invested in this birthday gift for my mother, come March 1st. It has definitely been a huge inconvenience since my mother is in school to become a RN, and has children she needs to transport back and forth. To make matter worst, no loaner was given throughout this time. Not only have this been a huge inconvenience but I'm feeling like I have invested into the wrong car or into the wrong dealership. read more

I will never purchase a car from Gormleys again! I put ALL of my savings in to this car when I bought it. The transmission was bad. I asked Donnie for help and he "tried" to help. His "boss" said he could help me if I supplied them with some receipts. When I gave it to them all of the sudden that wasn't good enough. Than they said they would help me by deferring 2 payments which would be $320.00 for a 2500.00 dollar job. I stopped making payments. I am a single mother who has to have a car to transport my child. Bought a used car for a great price here. The sales rep was extremely helpful, not pushy at all! They offer a warranty program for a great price, in addition to the factory warranties already in place for many of the used vehicles they offer. They give you many financing options based on your credit and dont try to sell you financing programs that sound too good to be true. Cars are all kept in great condition, they have people that work there who maintain them and will wash and tidy up any car for you that you want to test drive and/or purchase. read more

Fortunately I have used auto sales dealerships that I can depend on that I can count on 1 hand. 1 is in Bordentown, 2 neighbor each other on rt 73 in Maple Shade and Gormley's which is actually like 3 shops in 1 because they have lots across the street as well as down the street from one another. The elder gentleman Mr. Harry seems a compassionate man more interested in his weekend plans than trying to high presssure a potential buyer.... And this is a pleasant difference from the stereotypical snake oil type of salesman. This is the trait that I like from all 4 of the spots that I mentioned. Good job. read more

Purchase a 2011 Subaru Outback in the summer of 2019 from Bob; sales rep at Gormley's. Initial experience was great, until I nearly lost control of my car while traveling down 295 with my 5-year old son in the back seat.... Entire front end of car was shaking uncontrollably and was lucky to bring it to a safe stop on the shoulder. Car had to be towed to my local mechanic, who upon inspection, told me that the ENTIRE front brake system was seized. The car needed new calipers, hoses, lines etc..... He also stated that it isn't something that happens overnight and the safety inspection by the selling dealer should have noticed the surface rust on the calipers due to excessive heat from the constant brake drag. I paid the nearly $500 out of my pocket to have the brakes fixed, less than 2 months after taking delivery of the car. I contacted Gormley's to request they pay only HALF of the expense, and after 3 weeks of trying to get a response from my sales-rep via email or telephone, was told that the request was denied. I was told that I was just out of the 2,000 mile warranty that was provided and that they weren't gonna do anything. Buyer beware! I will also be taking this to the BBB and through my personal lawyer who has indicated that there is a very strong case against dealership practices such as this. read more

But then the fast talking and trying to sell a truck thats marked up almost by 2000 to make a profit. I offered what I thought based on kbb to be a fair price. He tells me good luck and shows me the door. So I went to the second location. This time I spoke with Harry. Again very personable. But wanted a outrageous down payment on a truck 11 years old. I offer him a price based on kbb that I thought was fair. He decides to tell me that the "old man" wants a certain amount for down payments. To top that he said to me.
