Where do I begin.....on July 25th, 2022, I saw a truck posted online that I wanted to purchase. I called CW Clarke before 8:00 and talked to a salesman and we discussed how to proceed. I was fortunate enough that they were mtg me half way in my state with the truck. We met and I signed all of the paperwork and paid with cash. Very grateful up to this point. I was given a 30 day temp tag that eventually ran out. When I called the dealership to ask about it, I was told that I could continue to drive it. When I inquired about the possibility of getting pulled over and getting a ticket, they told me that they would pay for any tickets I got. Have never been told that before when purchasing a vehicle. I sent a text to the salesman on August 20th and was told that everything was in processing. Sept 14th I was told they had the title. Oct 11th I was told it was being held up in my state's DMV. Oct 21st my DMV said they have no paperwork at all in their possession. On top of all of this, I didn't receive any paperwork stating I had purchased the vehicle until this week. I've had this truck since 7/26/22 and have only driven it 30 days. The dealer warranty was for 90 days or 3,000 miles. How fair is that since I've only been able to drive it for 30 of those days and I know that I haven't gone past 3,000 miles. They could have made things better by at least giving me another temporary tag that would have made things somewhat better. Then I would of had at least 30 more days to enjoy the truck and see if there were any repairs that would have been covered. So I guess that I could drive it the next 5 days to see if anything is wrong. Good thing is that they will pay for my tickets that I may get. How fair is all of this? 3 months to get a title. Of course, the owner will respond to this by saying to call the dealership in which I will hear more excuses and no results. So if you are here looking for advice on their business, ask to see the title before purchasing anything from them. read more

I bought a 2007 Toyota RAV4 in March 2020 (I listed 2019 previously, but that was incorrect), and this year the transmission went, which is odd for Toyotas. I checked in with CW Clarke to see if they'd assist with the cost considering how quickly this happened and they were unwilling. Granted, they didn't have to, but it would've been great if they stepped up to assist with the $3800 rebuild cost. I think the transmission had issues from the start considering how quickly it went downhill. read more

If I could give zero I would. Bought a ford escape from them two years ago when I was pregnant and looking for something decent size and safe, I was wrong. The car had issues before I bought, was never told about them. Less then a year the transmission went, no working AC, and guess what? The power steering went AND one of the wheels is dented. It's been sitting for a few weeks now because it's blow after blow with this car. I still have to pay off the loan and the young kid I had got all my information wrong that he submitted to the loan company. Wrong name, wrong birthday, wrong email, and wrong address. That was another hassle I had to deal with. Never again. read more

Went and got approved for a truck a few years ago. Truck was beautiful from the outside...I failed to inspect the under carriage/frame area. Turned out the entire frame was severely rusted out. I had looked to see where I could add a hitch receiver to haul my boat at the time. And where the bolt hole location was I was able to pull the frame apart on the rear area where the receiver would have gone..upon further inspection I had found a severe crack in the frame which is very dangerous and they spray painted over the entire frame to hide the rust. After contacting them they had said i was SOL I called the loan company (credit acceptance) they had told me they can cancel the loan on there end i found these issues the day I brought it home. After hiring a lawer I was able to have them cancel the loan and I was able to return the truck. After paying $500. I would never recommend C.W clarke. read more

I bout a 2013 Tesla from there and I only drove the car 20 days since april 26 2024 the owner Dan dam near threatened me for asking that they fix this trash that I put 10,000 down on talking about I broke the car because he drove it 90 ain't have a problem with it !! well why didn't u tell me before I bought the car that I couldn't use a Tesla super charging station why didn't u tell me I had to live a house In order to plug it in over night because I live in a apartment !! this is what I mean by omitting concealing material facts about a car just to trick the consumer into buying the car !! asl them for a car fax bet they don't offer to get it unless it's to one out of 50 of thier cars that actually have no issues !! I am using a different name because I don't want them to know who is posting this. I have bought and finance all my vehicles from CW Clarke because this is the go to place, if a dealership will not approve you. Both vehicles I have bought from them were completely good looking vehicles that ran well for the first couple of months, and then the Band-Aid they put on the vehicle start coming off and the issues start, every vehicle I have owned from them every three months I would have maintenance done oil changes tires rotated, and I would follow the manufactured recommendations religiously to prevent issues, and even then the issues with still emerge from transmissions to the engine to the ball, joints, and CV axles to the rear differential. I would be very weary and if you were to buy from this place, bring a reputable mechanic to go over the vehicle thorough read more
