Concerning the SoJo location : DO NOT GO HERE. Went through the wash and found myself trapped(!!!) with my bumper ripping off. They had me reverse to get out, guided by two of their employees, and my bumper continued to rip off and the side of my car scratched. They shut down the wash + left my car totally soaking and bubbly. No one offered to rinse it off or did anything. After running inside and asking to speak to a manager, they had me sit outside their office where they 'reviewed the tapes' privately and determibed they did nothing wrong. The manager said he would be in contact with me then never called + when I came back two days later, he said they were taking zero responsibility. Laaaaaaaaaame, Gorilla. Super lame. read more

I went on a trip and my car was covered in bugs. I came to get a car wash and knew it would take a lot to get the car clean again. I had to gentleman helping me out, Arthur and Josh. Arthur got me all squared away with the monthly pass and then Josh scrubbed the heck out of the front of my car. Some impatient people honked and josh offered to have me come back around to get the rest off. He and Arthur both went back to work on my car and got it looking sparkling again. I'm updating my review. Since purchasing a new car, black, I had it for 1 week and found it to b damaged after going through the wash. Thought maybe it could be something else, until we went through again. Mind you my car was only 2 weeks old. Tons of little scratches on it!!!! Hand wash from here on out with my car. Only automatic wash for the car I don't care so much about. Car washes run anywhere from $7-12, depending what you want. They take credit cards. You can even sign up for a monthly service that runs $15-30/month. Employees are friendly and helpful. Very helpful too when you get an oil change or emissions testing too. My kids like when we get the car's oil changed here and insist on coming for all the soda to drink while you wait... But the best part is the cleaning products and rags to use at the end. And tons of vacuums to use too! read more

Took both of our cars through here on a whim one day and everything seemed to be alright. I think we did one of the cheaper options (not the unlimited pass) and then went and used towels and vacuums. Our cars ended up being way cleaner than they were, both inside and out. I didn't notice any damage or scratches that weren't there before. Yes, it's a very popular place, but when we went we got through the wash very quickly and there were multiple spots open for us to use the vacuums and towels. This was the middle of the day during the week, but it was still pretty busy! read more

My husband honked at a car another car that was parked in the middle of the flow of traffic coming out of the car wash towards the vacuums, it was apparently the owner in his car. He rolled down the window and said "Don't honk at me Bro!" He then drove up next to us when we parked and said "You Going to apologize or do we have a problem?" My husband said "No, we don't have a problem but you were parked in the flow of traffic." He (literally!) popped his knuckles and said "I can do whatever the f*** I want, I own this place." Now I love this car wash except for a few major things. The car wash is the only automatic one around that has vacuums and micro fiber towels to dry your car. Now for the huge problems: 1) The car wash will break any plastic license plate holders that you have on the front of your car. I went through 3! So make sure you have metal license plate holders. The wash will leave marks on your car but you can buff them out with the microfiber towels. 2) Half of the vacuums are clogged half of the time. They try their best to unclog them but during busy times good luck with the vacuums. Pure luck if you get a good suction one. 3) Their payment system is flawed. It cannot keep your credit card data correct or they just don't know how to use it. Every time you change a payment it will ALWAYS charge a $25 pending transaction to your bank account even if you have the cheapest monthly plan(14.99). It does come off in a day or two but they need to get rid of this. Pending transactions are a PAIN! If it happens again I am taking my business elsewhere. If these problems were fixed I would have rated it a 4/5 star. read more

There is always a long line that moves fast. I use the monthly unlimited service for $19.99. (you can't go through twice a day) There are always towels to dry/clean your car inside and out. There aren't very many options in Highland with an automatic car wash in vacuums so I go to gorilla when I'm not in Salt Lake City. This car washes does the job just fine, the reason I'm giving this a one review is because there are often lines and you have to wait forever to get through the wash often causing traffic issues with flow for the nearby shopping center. The second problem is there is practically no suction on the vacuums. I know many people have issued similar feedback but for six months nothing has changed. If they improve the suction on the vacuums ill upsate review for this business to five star. until then it's good for a car wash but overpriced because vacuums don't do the job. First time to use this car wash and I was pretty impressed. I usually hand wash my cars but we decided to try this one. They have several options on washes and you can even get a unlimited month pass. Wow... Never heard of this. For the busy person this is a great value. Plus you get to use the vacuum free with your wash. I would have liked to had the car dryer but all and all a good experience. Usually there is a waiting line so it's a pretty popular place. It's been over 15 years since I have needed a car wash. But since I haven't had a car in that long and before that I usually hand washed my car I didn't really need one. That changed when I moved up here from Phoenix and realized that riding a motorcycle all year round likely wouldn't be an option anymore so I bought a new Ram 2500, Now I tried to hand wash it as I have done in the past but there are 2 problems with that. 1- It gets really cold here. Wet soapy hands are not fun in the cold. 2- This truck is flippin HUGE and it is huge pain to try and wash it. That being the case it was imperative that I find someplace to get it washed that was going to do a good job getting it clean and could accommodate my vehicle. I think I may have found it. I came in with a truck that was absolutely filthy and mud splattered and left with a sparkling clean vehicle. They offer unlimited monthly wash subscriptions and I'm thinking I'll get one. read more

My wife has been using this wash for a couple of months. A few weeks ago she was going through the wash and there was a loud "thud" as she went through. Upon inspection she noticed a pretty good gash in her door that was not there before. She talked to a staff member that told her he did not believe her. She got the managers number and I called and left him a message. Its been two weeks with no response so I called the corporate number and left a message there as well. It has been a week with no response. I would definitely recommend using a different service to wash your car because this place is VERY unprofessional. read more

The wash is fine; they offer towels to dry and glass cleaner but the vacuums barely work. Be aware of the unlimited package for $19.99/month. Unless you cancel, you will automatically be charged. And if you try to cancel ahead of time before they charge you the next month (in my case, 2 weeks before) they will terminate it that day AND charge you if you go through the wash. I'm usually pretty picky about my reviews but as I was googling gorilla car wash for store hours I was surprised to see so many 2 star reviews. They are really flexible with their monthly service, friendly, and there are always rags to dry/clean out your car inside and out. There is also glass and cleaner on hand for the inside of your car. Free vacuums with a wash too! There is often a line, but the cars move through assembly line style so it's pretty quick. I haven't used the pet wash, but my husband does and said the water is warm. He loves the vacuum used to dry your dog and suck off the extra hair. read more

I've only hand washed my car since I plastidipped my wheels. I asked them if they could turn off the tire scrubber. They said yes and they even manually held up the tire scrubbers while my car went through the wash. Great service and I love that they have towels for self service. read more

We used the pet wash portion of this facility. It was HORRIBLE!!! Tons of dog hair left in the wash basin. There was zero warm water. Just ice cold. I thought it was going to warm up but it never did. I rinsed my poor pup off as quickly as possible (because I started with the shampoo water) and then turned it to the dryer...also freezing cold air. We left with my dog soaking wet in The cold weather in February. It is a torture chamber for animals. Do NOT bring your dog here to bathe it. read more

Will never go back again. Went there today to get both my cars washed, since I had two unlimited wash passes. Went through with my little car fine. Took my suv and went to put my antenna down didn't apparently go down fast enough half way through I could see it bent drove out of the car wash right over to the parking lot and informed an employee my antenna had been ruined he said I will go get the manager. The manager walks over and says there is nothing I can do, since we have a disclaimer. It's like well you can't just go damaging peoples vehicles when their antenna doesn't go down fast enough. I work hard for my money and to maintain my vehicles. They fought tooth and nail to do nothing to help, but when I said well lets go inside and get both my cars memberships cancelled they were more then willing to help with that just showing not only do they not care about their customers vehicles and hard earned property, but they don't care about their customers in general. This cost $200+ in damage to my car. Would suggest going to another car wash that cares about their customers and property. Also, wash itself isn't the best even when you pay for the kong wash. Still have to dry off vehicles and much dirt comes off on the wipe down, which my cars aren't to dirt to begin with when I take them. read more
