They looked leaves from a Giant Gunnera plant, commonly known as Dinosaur Food. I only brought one bunch home 'cus I had to fold them both vertically and horizontally just to fit them into the produce sleeve. The leaves measured 15" across. Unbelievable and delicious, I hope to find more from Joe Heger farms in the future.

Like the other reviewer I drive from San Diego and buy it 20 pounds at a time. They are always nice and package it into small 2 pound bundles for me. The polo asada is pretty good too, but the beef is unlike any other I've ever had. Kind of reminds me of the old Alfonso's in La Jolla, (before it changed hands). It is a bit of a drive just to take my word for it :). But keep it in mind the next time you are passing through El Centro and take the 30 minute detour into Brawley.

Owners were very kind and patient with any of the questions I had here and the two female workers I saw were awesome and friendly. The young owner here is also pretty nice and while the place could use a sprucing up on the outside, the inside is definitely a gem here ranging from food to alcohol.
