The grounds are very nice and very clean, great dog run area. However the car bridge traffic noise all day and the trains running every 45 minutes made it unbearable to sleep. These folks are just out to make a quick buck. My friend reserved a few camp sites for a river rafting trip we were going to take, but we ended up having to cancel. I called to cancel with Bridge RV two days before our reservation, and they said they would have to charge me for a full day for all the camp sites. That came to a total of $110! I asked if they would not charge me if they were able to fill the space, and the lady said yes (and that she would call me if I did end up needing to pay). 5 minutes later she called back and left a message that my card was declined, and she would have to charge it to my friend's card. 1. why did she charge my card right away after JUST having told me she would wait? -- because the owner apparently told her to 2. Why didn't she call me, then? Because the owner just wanted to make more money because he knew they'd be able to fill the spaces. The only reason I found out was because she ran the wrong number so she called me about that. 3. Why did she charge my friend's card without even asking him? He wouldn't have even known if I hadn't called back and asked her to run my card again. This place was very rude from the get go, and then to be treated like a money bags was just too much! I am planning to re-schedule the river rafting, but you can bet I won't be staying here! read more

Lovely park! Daniel who checked us in was very helpful. Our spot is clean and quiet, looking out over the river. The pad is level so we didn't need to work very hard to set up our trailer. There is a train that comes past regularly but it doesn't bother us. read more

RV park is small and nice ... I was in a spot which was next to the highway and I felt like I'm sleeping ON the highway - trucks running by day and night. Out of the front window I stared at a service station and yes there are trains near by. The toll bridge (not the parks fault but something big rig people should be aware of) is a NARROW BRIDGE. Crossing was the most harrowing experience I've ever encountered in 20 years on the road - I met several trucks on my crossing where you had to creep by and once our mirrors touched! 5 star Woodall's is way overrated.... Terrible customer service. We arrived at 7:30 to find the office closed. Nobody told us where our spot was, and after circling the park, it was apparent that all of them were taken -we were out of luck. The next morning, we received a call from the office saying that they would have to charge us for the night. read more

First of all this campground is very clean and well maintained. The owners are kind and considerate. However, this is not a camping type place. It's a parking lot with small patches of grass. There is no option for a fire and spaces are right on top of each other- with our bump outs, I could reach out my window and almost place something on the picnic table in the space next to us. The other thing is this place is literally right next to the active train track with loud trains running often. Also, be aware that if you are wanting to spend time in Hood River, there is a bridge but it's tolled. $4 for our dualie and fifth wheel. $2 for just the dualie. This is no fault of the campground, of course, but something to be aware of. So if you are looking for a camping experience with trees and fire pits and some privacy this is not your place. If you are on a road trip and need a quick place to stay, then this would be fine. Guess I'll tell the kids no s'mores this time :( read more

We were in need of a place to stay for our daughters swim meet in HoodRiver, the campground & the facilities were very clean. It's conveniently located next to a minute Mart that had a bit of everything at a reasonable price. We are use to more rustic campgrounds but this worked for what we needed. read more

Well, what can I say I loved this park. The spaces are a little close but the parks is beautiful and well maintained. The bathrooms are sparkling and the staff is very nice and accomodating. Yes I would stay here again the price is a little high but for one night we were ok with it. Would recommend. read more

Clean. Well kept up. Pleasant host. Convenient. Now for the down side: Do Not Fall For The "River Row" back in sites promotion. Sure...the river is right there, across a fence and beyond the RAILROAD TRACKS!! At least 8 trains rumbling and clanking thru overnight. Earplugs, fan running...no help. Perhaps the next two nights I will try to sleep with earbuds and music. If you stay here ask to be in the middle aisle. The aisle furthest away from the tracks is...wait for it...right along the highway! read more

I'm giving this 5 stars even though the trains are quite noisy in the evening. The first one sounded like it was coming through our RV. After that I fell asleep and slept great. Very quiet otherwise. Well maintained, excellent pet area(!), pretty location by the river. Bathrooms and shower immaculate. Overall this park is clean! We are here in off season so not crowded. The bridge coming across the river is narrow! The host warned us and thankfully the toll collector recommended we pull in our rear view mirrors. I would definitely stay here again. read more

First I don't see this park as a resort where you come to spend the day for the purpose of using the amenities. Most everyone leaves during the day to see the sights. Every square inch of the park is parceled for RVs and the sites are very close together. Having said that - the facilities - bathrooms, showers and laundry room were immaculate! The staff is very helpful and welcoming. There is a large grassy area pet area. The park backs up to a busy highway and a train runs past the other side of the park; it does not blow the horn at night. This was not an issue for us because we run a fan at night for white noise. The bridge is extremely narrow, as mentioned in other reviews, but there is another bridge about 20 east that is wider. If you have a large RV or trailer, I recommend you use the I-197 bridge or pull in your side mirrors. read more

This is a very nice park with paved roads and pads, nice clean laundry and restrooms and the showers were great! The landscaping was beautiful and green grass everywhere. There is so much to do in the area you would need at least a week to see it all. The staff was very freindly and helpful........will be back for sure!!!!! read more

Stayed here for a night after kiting Hood River. Perfect little park, you get a little bit of grass, nice hook ups, level pavement. There is a dog run lower down that was also just a nice open space. There is a train (or many trains I should say) that go by. I didn't mind it for one night, but I don't really sleep great in an RV anyway so what does it matter. Don't go over the little Hood River bridge if you are wide, I almost took off my mirrors and then the owners laughed at me upon check in. Apparently there is a wider bridge to use a bit down the road. read more

We stayed here on our way home from Oregon. It was a small, clean campground and the owners were incredibly friendly. This is not a "destination" campground, but it's a great place to spend the night. They have a nice dog park area for dogs. The train didn't bother us one bit but I imagine it could be a little noisy in the tent area. read more

After staying a couple nights and making it clear I would be their a week I got back late afternoon and they had given my spot away. The park was full so nothing was available. I will never go back. Bad management. read more

This is a very nice, clean and well maintained RV park. The owners are very accommodating and helpful. The sites are easy to get into and have full hook ups. Each site has a grassy area and picnic table. As with most RV parks, the sites are close together. There is a very large, grassy dog run, but beware, it is not fully enclosed. If your dog is a runner, it could be a problem. The bad news part is not due to the RV park, but just the area it is located in. It is located on a VERY BUSY highway with constant traffic and semi truck noise (i.e. jake brakes). Note: bring your ear plugs and you'll be fine! The bridge from Oregon to Washington over the Hood River is VERY NARROW! Make sure you pull in your mirrors (no kidding). The park is a good place to stop for the night, but I wouldn't stay any longer than that. read more

This is an average park, way overpriced for what you get. We have a small trailer - 15 foot, got the discount and paid $42 for the night. This seemed steep, but we saw the reviews were good so we gave it a try. We couldn't believe that after paying the premium price, that you are charged for showers. I am still trying to understand what we got for our money. The place is clean and maintained, but it is smack between the highway and the train track so it is active and pretty noisy. Seems there are lots of rules and they remind you with lots of signs. You know the old song, sign, sign, everywhere a sign? This is what kept going through my mind. I can't recommend nor will we return. read more
