Firstly, since moving to Ashland every single contractor we have hired (EXCEPT Rogue Valley…read moreRoofing) have been great and very good integrity. NOT SO WITH ROGUE VALLEY! First they crazy-overcharged for a tiny deck that needed a decent waterproofing seal. They said only his most expensive product would do the job. Then they left it half done and very sloppy. I was asked to remove that negative review when they came out to "fix it". Well they did NOT fix it. And once the rains started we accrued significant damage and cost to both the outside and the inside of our home including mold damage and total inside ceiling needing repair now (Pix included). The owner told us yesterday in person that they would fix it. Now today he writes saying that he won't. Sadly this is just really bad business and very costly mistakes on their part that is left for us to pick up their improper work. I warn anyone to look around for other options and businesses before moving ahead with Rougue Valley Roofing. They do not stand behind their work and they do not behave professionally. What a mess. Sorry to have to write a bad review but this one they very much earned. Ugg.

Upon a referral from a flooring contractor we used, we contacted Jim Acord of Quality Roofing. From our first telephone conversation I was impressed with Jims' knowledge and friendly attitude. Upon his visit to our residence to inspect the roof, Jim spent about an hour on the different roofing levels before he came back down, to summarize and show us what he saw, from the photos he took with his ipad. He was very thorough, showed us the worn areas, then presented a couple of his suggestions for roofing materials. He also gave us a quote on the spot which ended up being the final price. His crew were on time, courteous, careful, on time, friendly, and their workmanship was superb. My wife and I were both quite impressed with Quality Roofing, and Jim Acord, for his knowledge and making us feel comfortable with the project.

I was very impressed with Pete's work. He is competent, works hard, cleans up well, and is a very pleasant man. I would definitely hire Men of Steel again. They bid a small job of another type, took a deposit, then doubled the deposit, both of which we paid. They ordered materials. Then we were forgotten. I had to proactively pursue them for status, which seemed to be received with bother. Projects they've done for me include: Repairing rather than replacing rotting windows, (saving me thousands of dollars), fixing drainage issues on a balcony and re-tiling it, (which had been done previously by another outfit without success), Fixing all the wood rot caused by the aforementioned balcony drainage issues, installing beautiful wood floors and painting the rooms (and repainting someone else's botched paint job), fixing difficult doors, exterior stucco painting, and many many other small jobs I added to their punch list.
