Build Your Box Fish and Chips, Shrimp
    Eliseo R.

My friends and I were walking through the LINQ Promenade on the Las Vegas Strip, trying to see what to eat and bring back to our hotel room. We were in a time crunch so seeing this spot caught our eyes. It is pretty simple as it is a fast-casual styled restaurant. Gordon Ramsay is named here so of course that credibility made us want to try. If you share one box between two people, it's not too bad!!! If you try to order a box per person, the pricing can be pretty steep. You choose what type of box you would like.. if you want British-style battered fish or shrimp, etc. Happy to say that the fried quality of the foods were perfectly crisp and light. All of us say that the shrimp is a winner. The next best was the fish, being super soft inside and nice and crispy outside. The meal honestly was filling and great for us. We enjoyed the to-go boxes. The wait to order in the line can be long but once you order, the staff get your orders out in under 5 minutes. There's not too many seats, but luckily our plan was to eat in our hotel. The food was still super hot and fresh from the fryers.

Came here for a quick bite to eat and not going to lie I wasn't too impressed. Not sure what I expected but it was meh. Edible. 3.5 for the food but I will round up for the great service, the fish was fried well and flavorful without being overpowering with seasoning, the charm of the place is what really took the cake. The nod to the theme of the place is what gave the place the allure of the tourists to come in and check the place out. And of course the Gordon Ramsey name didn't hurt. Would I return if I'm in the area....... Not going to lie I'd probably just grab the In n Out in the same center for better food and a better bang for my buck

The place is small and has some decorations. It's made for you to order and go. There are a few seats along the wall. The food. I got the fish and regular chips box and my fiancé got the lobster and shrimp box with dirty chips. The fish was so crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. It was super hot. It had lots of flavor and you get two dipping sauces so I got the sriracha aioli and his tartar sauce. Both good. The service was alright as it is almost like a quick service place. The workers were working hard and they got out of food on time. Overall it was a must try as I'm trying to try all of Gordon Ramsays restaurants here in Vegas.

After visiting the High Roller, we stopped by to try Gordon Ramsay's Fish & Chips . I ordered the fish combo, which was $27.98. It's a bit pricey for what you get, but the fish was very tasty. It was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside, and every bite was full of flavor. For sauces, we tried Gordon's tartar mayo, and they were all pretty good. The fries were just okay on their own you definitely need the sauce to enjoy them more. The service was friendly. Seating inside is very limited, but there are some tables outside, mostly standing. I really liked the outdoor vibe , it feels fun and gives off that lively, festival, style Vegas atmosphere.

We love anything by Gordon Ramsay, and this was hands down the best fish and chips we've had! The fish was perfectly battered -- light, crispy, and fried to perfection. The fries were next level with chorizo, onions, and cotija cheese, which made them incredibly flavorful . We also ordered the sausage on a stick, and it did not disappoint. It comes with four pieces and two sauces on the side -- we went with the sriracha spicy aioli and the tartar sauce, and both paired perfectly with everything. Seating is limited with a few spots inside and outside, and the space itself is on the smaller side, but it adds to the charm. Service was friendly, quick, and efficient. It is a little on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it for the quality and the overall experience

I love Gordon Ramsey with all my heart! We couldn't afford a bunch of expensive meals while we were here for 5 days so we decided to come here. The food was big so we decided to get one box and spit it. It was very busy which we expected so we stood in line. We got to the front and ordered our meal plus sauce. It was very British looking inside with union jacks on the wall and articles of Gordon inside. We waited outside for a few minutes before our food was ready. Once it came out, we all took our fish and ate it. It was very good and very filling for the amount of food it was. Overall the best fish and chips I've ever had!

First time trying Gordon Ramsay's fish and chips! The quality and portion of the fish and fries were good. I just wish it was seasoned more (the fish). I got it with the truffle fries. There was limited seating so my friends and I had to find somewhere nearby to sit. Staff were super kind!

gave this place a try. we were thrown off a bit on the pricing for fish and chips and the up charge of extra sauces but it is vegas after all inside has a couple of places to sit and eat. outside as well. service was prompt but nothing extraordinary. fish was very crispy and fresh. piping hot!!! paired well with the tartar sauce. can be a little greasy towards the end fries were cooked nicely and were crispy. food was very fresh and i think made to order. nice to try out

    Lobster and Shrimp Combo

This was my first experience going to a Gordon Ramsay restaurant. I wanted to test the waters before going to more. We ordered two different meals. One had the signature fish and the other had lobster & shrimp. The fish was very tasty. Crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. Each bite was flavorful. The lobster & shrimp combo I would avoid. There was barely any lobster meat in the pieces, I should have made it all shrimp. The shrimp was decent but not of the same quality as the fish. For sauces, we had Gordon's tartar, curry & mango, southwest ranch, and dijon mayonnaise. They were all pretty good. The fries were okay by themselves, you definitely need the sauce with them. We also got the sticky toffee shake. It was delicious. Not as sweet as I thought it would be. You will need some napkins with that. Service was friendly. Seating is very limited inside but there are some tables outside (mostly standing). I like the outside decor. This is about a 4 for me due to the lobster portion. Worth going to if you're in Vegas.

Friday afternoon we were hanging out at the Linq Promenade and it was getting busy and I was Getting hungry. So we decided on Gordon Ramsay Fish and Chips. Now I'm Australian and have been brought up on fish & chips so the bar was set pretty high. The ambiance Inside and outside the restaurant/takeout area was packed with people eating and waiting on their orders, very clean and well stocked with napkins , ketchup, utensils. The line was short and we ordered straight away. We both got: Fish Regular chips Gordon's Tartar Cocktail sauce First bite was amazing - super crunchy batter on the fish - 5 stars. The chips were chips, nothing to rave about. But i gave it a -1 star because the cod was pretty bland. They definitely need to season and salt it before adding the batter. Overall a nice spot to grab crunchy battered fish and chips. But next time we could have shared one box because we both couldn't eat one box to ourselves. It definitely is large! * the staff were a-lot of fun and very photogenic lol.

Truly amazing amazing experience. Went right at opening and there was no line. This was the best fish and chips I have ever had. I would go back and also try the shrimp and lobster. The fries were amazingggg as well, and you get two sauces with your meal. A bit pricey but it is surprisingly a lot of food. Some spots to sit inside and outside.

There's 2 ways I'd explain this place. If you're here for the name, go to another Gordon Ramsay spot like his burger location. If you're here for fish & chips then it's a decent place to get it. We came here because I always wanted to try it simply because I like fish & chips and also am a fan of Gordon Ramsay. What we ordered was decent, but I didn't feel like it tasted for it being attached to Gordon Ramsay. It tasted pretty oily and heavily breaded. Gordon Ramsay said it himself that he's not a fan of something inedible on his dish so why put a lobster shell in the mix. Unless I was supposed to eat it, I ended up tossing it. There's very little space in here to eat as there's a small corner right when you enter and a small bar table outside. Maybe it's more catered to the fast food style of just grabbing and go but the quality wasn't what I expected. The service is fairly simple as you wait in line, ask for what you want and then just wait for it. Definitely more like a to-go style experience.

Shrimp & Dirty #2 Chips (plus a chicken strip)
    Angela C.

My kids wanted to come here for Fish & Chips so we stopped by for lunch. We ordered a Fish & Chips plate w/ Dirty #2 chips w/ Tartar sauce & Curry & Mango Sauce and the Shrimp & Chips w/ Southwest Ranch & Dijon Mayo sauces. The fish & chips came out smoking HOT, we had to wait a bit to eat them as they were burning our tongue. But the fish is flaky and delicous. Shrimp wasn't as hot so we ate those first. The batter kept falling off the shrimp and into the sauce every time we tried to dunk it. As for the sauce, we really like the tartar and the curry & mango sauces. The Southwest Ranch & Dijon Mayo was a pass for us. We paid extra for the Dirty #2 chips (truffle, Parmesan cheese, chives & parsley), but they were ok but not worth the extra $ IMO. Next time I'll stick with the regular chips. Pouches of malt vinegar are located in bins by the soda machine, if you want ketchup, you have to ask the employees for it. Seating is super limited, we had a later lunch so were able to snag a counter as someone was leaving. In the past, I've had to sit on the curb to eat, which is super inconvenient. When you dine here, be an adult and clean up after yourself, don't leave all your trash on the counter and expect the next customer to clean up after you. Luckily an employee was there to help us clean the trash so that I could put my food down.

So when I came across Fulton Fish Frye after walking around the New York New York casino, I was attracted to their low prices on your classic American seafood faire. Looking to find some cheaper food on the strip, I decided to stop by to give them a try. Fulton Fish Frye is located in the Village Street Eateries on the casino level. To get here, just walk through the casino and head towards the large street facades. This area is quite a unique area for its New York street atmosphere and the attention to detail with theming. And walking up to the place on a Wednesday evening, there was a small line of people waiting to eat here. The restaurant has a variety of options ranging from chicken tenders and fries to bread bowls and fried seafood options. And while there were many appetizing choices, I decided to try the Fried Calamari which was $13.95 at the time of this review. And looking at the portion size, it was very generous for the money. Simply made up of the calamari with breading, there were easily more than 20 pieces inside my given tray. And because each piece was very large and thick in size, the price to portion ratio was very good, especially for the strip. Taste-wise, the calamari was actually quite delicious! Each piece of squid was chewy and moist despite the outer coating. And although the breading wasn't the most crispy, it still had a nice crisp chew to it which was satisfying to eat. The order came with a side of ranch so be sure to dip the calamari into some sauce for some extra flavor. Seafood is a very hard commodity to get at a cheaper price point regardless if you are on the strip or not. So seeing a generous portion of squid for the price of 14 dollars was exciting. And because the taste of the food was good for the price, I'd place Fulton Fish Frye as a very high 4 star in my book. Looking at this place on Yelp, I was a skeptic at first. But if you're having doubts, just drop by and check out the line. There is a reason people are lining up here. In all, this might be one of the best seafood deals on the strip! Don't sleep on this place!

AN ALTERNATIVE TO GORDON RAMSAY FISH & CHIPS?…read more When I go to Vegas I try to go to Golden Ramsey Fish & Chips at least once for lunch. During my two-night stay at Mandalay Bay I didn't want to waste my time going to Gordon Ramsey Fish & Chips, which is located in the center of The Strip. I ordered one of the items on the First Mate Favorites - fish, chicken, and shrimp. Out of three meats the shrimp was my favorite as it was plump and meaty. The chicken was me second favorite as it moist. Since Fulton Fish Fry is a fish and chip shop the most important items have to be the fish and fries. The seasoned fries lack fluffiness inside. The breading on the fish wasn't crispy enough as I did experience the crunch. The fish itself wasn't dry but lacked flavor. It is not that the fish and chips at Fulton Fish Frye tasted terrible, but the price I paid for I've had better fish and chips that were less expensive.

We were walking along the Linq strip checking things out. I've been here before which was ok. They had us seated upstairs where it was so quiet. Maybe a couple of people there while the bottom floor was pretty lively. So after walking around for a while and still can't decided, we ended up here again. Menu did look the same as our last visit. It was pretty busy so when we checked in with the hostess, we were hoping that they wouldn't seat us upstairs again. Well this visit, we were seated towards the back where their bar area was. Right by the entrance from the casino. It was fine as we were able to people watch and check out the casino. Quinton was our waiter who was quite nice and friendly. Welcomed us right when we got seated and made sure that we were well taken care of. Good customer service. Started off with some drinks. I wanted a certain glass of wine which was informed that they were out but replacing it with another for the night. Asked for a sample before making my decision. Wasn't to my liking which I went with something else. Food wise, I did like the chicken Parmesan from the last visit that it was nice to have again. Chicken was pretty big and juicy and on top a bed of spaghetti. It was good. It was a la cart so nothing else was served with it. I also got a side of fries which I loved as it was the crosscut version and seasoned. Also the cheese ravioli with shrimp. Portion wise was a little small but it was good. Food was good. Service was nice. This experience was better compared to the first with upstairs dining. It was better having a meal where there's a lively crowd when in Vegas. Quinton was great and very sweet.

The other day, we were looking for a place to eat pre-concert. At this point we were desperate and needed a spot and quick. Enter...Off the Strip @ The Linq. We had made a reservation (to be safe), but didn't need to. It was pretty empty. Everyone ordered some sort of pasta dish and we all disliked our meals. The red sauce had an off taste. Couldn't put my finger on it, but I'm glad I wasn't alone. Someone else noticed it as well. Just stay away from anything with red sauce would be my take. Bad night or maybe that's the flavor they were going for. Either way, it didn't work. Service was fine. Nothing special or spectacular. Our waiter was standing talking next to our table talking to another waiter for most of the time, except when we needed him...then he was MIA. Pretty pricey too for what you got. I guess, okay for burgers and a drink but anything else...pass.
