Technician gave me paperwork, but added that he had updated the forms, and he was kind and helpful! Dr. Bowerman showed me the x ray of right hip/arthritis. He recommended a steroid shot. He also showed me the x ray of my left hip, which is in good shape. He performed a hip replacement on that hip 10 years ago, and I had a good experience, so I wanted to consult him. He thinks I will need a replacement in right hip down the road. However, until then I will walk/stretch/repeat. Thanks also to his nurse and x ray girls, very kind and supportive! Dr. Bowerman gave me the shot, and was very slow and methodical, I could tell instantly that it was going to the pain. He said to give it a few days, but I can tell it is already working! When I do need the replacement, I want him to do it!

I can't possibly say enough good things about Dr Rainwater. From my first visit, Dr Rainwater has…read morealways taken the time to hear my fears, listen to my request, and ask him questions. Never once has he made me feel like I was rushed. He's never made me feel like I was asking stupid questions. And he's always taking the time to answer my questions. A few years back I had bariatric surgery and I was having issues where I would have these episodes that felt like a heart attack and I explained as best I could to the surgeon and my other doctors what it was and none of them even tried to help me. They all looked at me like I was crazy and let me leave without doing anything for me. I didn't even have to finish explaining it to Dr Rainwater and he knew exactly what I was talking about and gave me a prescription that helps anytime I'm having one of those episodes and for that I am forever grateful. Dr Rainwater saved my life!

It was a Sunday followed by Memorial Day, so we pretty much sat for two days waiting until everyone returned from the weekend. Tuesday after the holiday, a doctor was assigned to us and the testing started. The doctor that was assigned to my wife was very knowledgeable and ordered test after test and scan after scan. Everything came back normal, but one test showed something that eventually became a the root cause. I grew up with a sickly mother and I know bad healthcare when I see it and this hospital was nothing but caring and compassionate throughout the entire 6-day ordeal. Several of the nurses were exemplary and the doctor was just super. We could not have asked for a better experience given the unpleasant circumstances. If I could give more than 5 stars, I certainly would.

They will call you if they've had cancellations and try to reschedule your appointment, which can be nice. The Con's: Good luck waiting under an hour to be seen and that's just the main waiting room, once they bring you back to the exam rooms you will wait 15-30 mins to see the Doctor. They allow people to talk on their cellphones while in the waiting rooms. Want to hear what Grandpa Norma Jean is telling Bucky for 45mins....:/! They don't do sign-ins on the computer which makes everyone's appt looked mixed up with sloppy penmanship and patients coming in behind you writing the same check in time as you (who goes first?!). Whomever is the office manager at this establishment needs to hire someone with a greater business acumen and overall common sense. This office is not run in a highly effective and efficient manner. It would be VERY NICE to see some good changes in the near future. IN THE MEANTIME, I won't be going back to the ROC!
