The check-in and check-out process is smooth and easy (although I prefer to pay while I'm there than to get a bill). Oh... and you get your choice of cool shades! :-). I have an odd eye condition but when first diagnosed, my Dr. walked me through it thoroughly and gave me more than enough information. There's nothing they can do about it (yet) but he did suggest doing some genetic testing so if and when something comes along to address the issue, I would be notified. There's been no advancements yet but I have been notified two times that they have found more information on the genes that cause it but there just isn't a lot of work I guess because it doesn't affect enough people. This was identified 8yrs ago and every visit they check the progression and he not only tells me the status but shows me. They don't sell glasses so you don't feel the pressure to buy like you do when you go to the regular eye doctor. For this, you would normally use your medical benefits, not your vision so your copay and deductible is in play.

I had a decent experience with the receptionist and nurses. Everyone was friendly. I saw some comments about the wait time but felt that even though I was there for a couple hours, it really depended on what was required. I found that in between tests I didn't have to sit too long or wait a long time for the doctor. It always felt like things were moving. Dr. Chen was great. She had great bedside manner, explained everything clearly and checked to make sure I understood everything. Overall, I plan to return for a follow up.

This is a big blunder on this office's part. I'm told this time that the computer system is down. So some grace for that. waiting an hour and 15 minutes this time is longer than the 45 minutes the last time.

Very people oriented, warm, practical, not prone to rush to surgery when not needed, and willing to offer details and explanations to my satisfaction. High end office with people-based skillset. Front desk staff has been downright awful at times, but, in my view, has improved significantly in the last few months. The technicians level of competence is another matter.
