Roy guided us through and he was awesome. Our tour was not rushed and he spent lots of time answering questions as we walked through. This visit came at a perfect time, because I had recently been in Iceland and had my photo taken with a giant troll at the airport, which I showed Roy. I had been wanting to bring my child here for quite some time, and today was finally the day we made it. At four years old, he was just as in awe as I was at some of the displays. There are FOURTEEN rooms housing this Guinness-record holding collection. Roy explained to us how tedious and time-consuming it is to submit evidence to be eligible for Guinness records. This is one of those places where you could come back several more times and still not quite see everything you wanted to see. So many nooks and crannies and hidden gems to feast your eyes on. My favorites are definitely the Norwegian trolls. Some of the scenes in that section of the museum vaguely reminded me of the Maelstrom (if you ever had visited Epcot years ago, you know what I'm talking about!) I did not get to meet Sherry, but we met her sweet gentle senior citizen dog. My son wanted to pet her and Roy told him it was okay. She probably didn't want to be bothered, but was kind enough to let a little boy give her a friendly pet. We also learned that Sherry owns the cat cafe right behind the troll museum. My son wanted to go there too, but we promised we would come back another day because we were really starving by the time we were done and had not yet had lunch. Also: the place right across the street looked a really cool place to dine, but it didn't open for another hour. We left with several magnets and some great photos. One overall, the store itself was clean, spaced out , not a lot of selection for women. The store reminded me off a cross between several stores: Gabes, Big Lots, Family Dollar, Dollar Tree...a weird dynamic... Something for everyone based on what your needs may be. I found Basil; so for that I was greatful. Service was just ok, nothing spectacular.

Been buying from Prism for years to support my displays for family and friends. They have some…read morego-to items for me but this year I'm just done. Besides the fact that it's the same inventory year after year with nothing really changing, it's the customer service and cheapskate ways that I won't be back. Because they've been using the same register since at least 2015, you have to show your 1 out of 5 possible coupons prior to checkout to get the mild discount. This time after presenting the coupon, not saying anything just showing it, the new guy at the register started hand-jamming in the prices. I assumed he adjusted already as they always did, but nope. After everything was added up and the price was read off I asked if the canister shells were discounted. The other employee behind him spoke up and said I needed to show the coupon before checkout, which I knew and had done. I asked if I had to present my phone with coupon 6 inches from his face and he said yes. So much for making sure your customers are happy. Oh well, their loss.

The store can seem a bit cluttered and slightly unorganized at times but they have what you need in a pinch. Is a great place to get your holiday gift wrapping items of which we took advantage of this year. Not a bad place to walk around and see what cheap stuff they have. I know we will continue to go here simply because it is cheaper to buy the items I mention above here than to buy them from Walmart next door.
