I called Gopher Stop and a other few places on a Saturday morning and Larry was the only one that actually picked up. There were signs of gophers in the backyard of home we just purchased. I spoke to Larry at 9am and he was in our backyard setting traps by 11am the same day!!! I had read the company info on Yelp and reviewed the photos before calling so I already knew that this guy knows how to deal with gophers. I followed him around the backyard and watched him locate underground tunnels, dig holes to expose the tunnels and set multiple traps in each tunnel. As Larry set twelve traps, he educated me on how gophers operate and why he uses the type of trap he does. He anchored each trap and clearly marked it with orange flags and then was done for that day. Then he returned three days later to check traps and found three gophers had been caught! That was back in April and since I waited to post review, I can confirm 6 weeks later there were still no signs of gopher activity. Larry had explained that once these gophers are gone, eventually new gophers will move in so we are keeping a close watch. A tiny mound of dirt appeared in my lawn. The next day, another larger mound popped up. The following day, even more dirt. Eeeeeek......GOPHERS! I am emphatically opposed to killing little critters (except spiders and bugs), and the thought of these cute little critters being poisoned or drowned was more than I could handle.
