No star! Had to choose a star because otherwise I cannot put a review. Started well. Had the initial service done and saw some results. signed up for monthly services and everything changed. They claimed they come monthly and they did at the beginning but last three months everything changed. I called and they promised a service but no one showed up and meanwhile I was charged. A service business such as this tends to get a plethora of one stars or five stars, many depending on factors that are out of their control. After having both their spot treatments and monthly service now for a year or so, I can say that the five stars here is well deserved. The field technicians have been prompt and courteous...even when I have forgotten to unlock the gate for them.... and the office staff has been kind and helpful.... even when I take a few days to update the credit card. In a neighborhood such as the one my family and I live in, gophers are a fact of life and the regular service here does seem to keep them at bay. But I can tell you, the folks at Gopher Patrol are hitting five stars consistently and it is much appreciated. read more

Don't waste your money with this company. You end up paying a monthly fee for terrible service. They have a couple of exterminators that are great and actually take their time to inspect our yard and use gas, bait and traps. This is the only reason I gave them more than one star. The past 4 exterminators were barely at our house for 5 mins to put bait near the gopher mounds and then take off. The last guy didn't even expect the whole yard and missed very noticeable mounds. He also kick the dirt mounds onto the driveway and sidewalk. When I called to cancel my service right after he left, they were only interested in making sure I was still going to have to pay $70 for coming out to put the position bait, which didn't work. The activity actually got worse after he put bait in our yard. Go somewhere else for gopher control. read more

Our family has been using Gopher Patrol for a couple of years and have been glad to have the service. Much better than the organization we were with before. In addition to providing complete service (they do rat and gopher for us here in Laguna Beach) their technicians are extremely professional. Our technician, Brian, is like a commercial for the company. He's always polite, professional, and sticks with it until the job is done right. If we have any questions Brian always takes the time to explain what's being done and why. I've used Gopher Patrol on a few different occasions. Skyler is definitely an expert in his field. He has helped us with our termite issue as well as gophers. I was really getting tired of trying all of the home remedy, DIY methods to rid my lawn of gophers. That's when Skyler showed up and was able to get rid of 3 gophers within 2 visits using traps. He explained the possible need for ongoing service since we live near a golf course, which made sense. We have a few occasional intruders, and it really is nice not having to worry about them myself. I live in Oak Park and had been dealing with a rodent issue. I kept things clean and tidy the best I could. But I was still finding droppings in the garage and my patio areas of my house. So I called Gopher Patrol. They weren't the first people I called, but they got back to me right away and made an appointment. They sent out Mike, and he took a look around and spotted several issues. He set up traps and also made sure that my house no longer had any entrance spots for the rodents to get in the garage. Mike has come back a few more times to make sure everything was good. The price was fair for the area. And I also made sure to tip, cause Mike came out during the summer, super hot heat wave!!! I have been a customer of Gopher Patrol for 10 years. Although their service has been good most of the time, it really depends on the technician. When Ramon was our technician, it was great. Their major customer service problem is that if an emergency comes up, their service goes way down, they can't get to you for at least a week. Not very good. However, the new technician, Erol, has really made a difference. He is very professional, accommodating and well informed. He is a great asset to Gopher Patrol!! DO NOT hire Gopher Patrol. Their technicians CANNOT be trusted to perform the services you pay for. After discovering discrepancies in service details reported on past invoices, I contacted management and was told matters would be handled with more care moving forward - I remained cautiously optimistic... Well, today my suspicions were confirmed when I watched (from inside my home) as the technician took a casual stroll about my property AND DID ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT ALL. Yet, left at my door was an invoice for $58 dollars indicating 15 burrows were treated in the front and in the rear... FYI folks, there are NO burrows in my front yard. There ARE burrows in the rear yard, but they're on my slope - ON WHICH THE TECHNICIAN NEVER SET FOOT... Goodbye Gopher Patrol (you bunch of crooks!) read more

I contacted Gopher Patrol six months ago. I had tried everything to rid my lawn of gopher holes. Trevor came out and did a three week bate trap and now a monthly bate trap. The difference is amazing. I have my lawn back. The bate is put deep into the ground and the gophers eat it. No worry about children or pets being harmed. The representatives were polite and knew their stuff. We had a gopher in our tiny back yard which was driving the dog crazy!! He's a terrier so he would sit and wait and bark all day. I tried the ultrasonic in ground repellents - don't waste your money. The gopher came up right next to the beeping post. We called Gopher Patrol and I am so happy we did!! Prompt response in scheduling and inspection; treatment happened the same day. We recently used the services of gopher patrol and found them to be top notch. Prior to contacting gopher patrol we had another pest control company out to our house over the course of many months and they were unable to rid our yard of gophers. Just about a thousand dollars later we fired the previous company. Our lawn was torn up by these critters and finally we called gopher patrol who were prompt and friendly and really got the job done.
