Katie has outstanding knowledge of her business and was a pleasure to work with. She makes sure that you have appropriate coverage at the best price. She saved me money from my previous insurance carrier. read more

Everything about this company is bad. First it was the quote and insurance selection - pricey and not the best one Then it was trying to reach them - very long hold times with no response, and emails going unanswered. read more

OMG! Run away from Goosehead insurance A month after guaranteeing coverage, they come back and insist on more documentation to prove you had insurance previously! They are out of their head!! Please don't make the same mistake I did PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF AND DON'T USE GOOSEHEAD! read more

Was with them for years. They don't inform or take care of you long term. Increased my homeowners from $5,000 to 14,000 and I wasn't even contacted. They don't work for you. I will never do business with them again. read more

They increased my rate due to me "not having prior insurance", but I did, and they had proof of it. I provided additional documentation for my insurance prior to that. I have had to wait on the line many times over the course of months. And that was if I was even lucky enough to free up some time in my day to call them, because their customer service hours are complete crap. After all that, they have decided I provided proof of documentation "too late", and they can no longer give me any refunds or credits. Absolute horrible company. They do not care about their customers. They only want to price gouge. So, I wasted an additional $210 on this policy thinking I was saving money by switching. Save yourself the headache and RUN FAR AWAY from this company if you are offered a quote by an agent or online. I would rather crap in my hands and clap than sign with them again. read more

Years ago service was good. Now everything BY THE APP. CHAT Service puts you on hold for ever. PHONE IS Ai so never a person to talk to - for simple stuff. They might have too much to handle with the people they got. I don't know but talking to a person and even with email got the run around. Don't recommend now. rp read more

Goosehead Insurance was great to work with initially--competitive rates and very customer-focused. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case lately. Response times from my agent now take days, I haven't received a competitive quote in over two years, and there seems to be internal confusion around policy assignments. Overall, the service has declined significantly from where it started. read more

Had them as my insurance agent since I bought a home in 2022. Didn't much care about insurance, so didn't bother them last 2 years. BUT, due to increased price of home insurance premium for upcoming renewal, sent an inquiry email to Alexis Ungerank for my home insurance renewal over a week ago, she said she assigned it to other person, and never received an answer nor resolved. They know I can't switch agent from this home insurance company by insurance company's new restriction I'm using, they are just seating there doing nothing. Irresponsible and shameless. read more

I almost went with them but found something much more affordable so when I called to stop the policy from going through, I didn't sign the document yet either they assured me I would get a full refund and not have any fees well yesterday I received a call from them and I had a gut feeling that if I answered the phone I would be charged money but answered it and sure enough the next day I see a $99 charge on my bank statement. I called today and after 1hr+ of waiting on the phone was told it was a fee for talking to the agent yesterday but were happy to remove it so in other words expect some bs charges for talking to their agents. read more

My home insurance premium was a little over 5k. The auto renewal for home insurance was about to go from 5k to a 10.3k premium! Which was their "AllState" quote. I reached out to AllState directly and got my premium down to 4.2k. Needless to say, don't go with GooseEgg read more

I contacted the agency owner in April 2024, and his agent in July 2024 stressing that I needed to find another homeowners insurance company, as the agency owner told me in April 2024 that the premium was increasing by 25-50% in August 2024. I told the agent this, and he got a great quote for me, BUT did not buy the policy, which had a 30 day option to buy that expired. It's no longer available and my policy went up about 35-50 percent! Just interested in making a sale! read more

My roof was destroyed in recent Dallas storms but the staff at Goosehead did nothing for me. It took almost two years, and two attorneys to settle the case. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I got water in 3 separate areas in my home but somehow Goosehead said this was my problem. read more

I spoke with Ray Mesa in May to set up a new condo insurance policy. He seemed very nice at the time and explained the process well. Basically, he explained that he would have to work with my mortgage company because it was a mortgage requirement and the documents needed specific information. I did tell him that I wanted to initiate the policy and confirmed he received the information for my mortgage company. Today I called Goosehead Insurance due to a leak in the apartment above mine. Ray never filed the paperwork to start my policy. When I asked why not, I was told I was responsible for following up to confirm I wanted the policy. I asked how much more clear could I be when I told Ray I wanted to start the policy with him and provided contact information for my mortgage company to get the policy started. It should not be my responsibility to ensure Ray does his job, particularly when he stated he would communicate with the mortgage company to get the right information on the documentation. He never mentioned that I would need to follow up any further, especially when I did plainly ask if I needed to do anything else. There was no follow up saying that there was any issues with the mortgage company or for additional information needed from me to start the policy. I find this negligence and gross incompetence unacceptable. I would avoid this company considering the risk of ending up in a similar situation I have. read more

Goosehead has got to be the worst auto insurance company I have ever delt with. I strongly recommend people stay clear. It would be too much typing to list out all the headaches dealing in just canceling the policy much less all other interactions. The cash grab, back door fees, and hoops you have to do just deal with them. You're better off going directly to the insurance companies they get you quotes from. Cut out this ridiculous 3rd party. I will never be back nor recommend. read more

I have used Goosehead for several years and Katie Morales is my agent. My only regret is that I waited way too long to make a switch from a big name carrier that I had for years. Katie has been able to save me thousands of dollars and has been super responsive at addressing any needs I have had. I had a property claim last year on my roof and I was so thankful to have Katie as my agent and help me through the process. Superior service with great pricing...so glad I made the change. read more
