I paid close to $400 for the compressor through the owner, Franchesco, on Monday, and he told me to come back Wednesday at 8:00 AM for the repair. I took off work and showed up Wednesday, only to be told there were still cars from Monday and Tuesday that had not been completed. No one called me or communicated that they would not be able to honor the appointment. He then told me to come back Thursday or Friday. I came back on Friday to drop my car off, and Franchesco told me he still could not do the job because he was "not ready." At that point, I asked for a refund because I no longer trusted the process. He told me that since I had already paid for the compressor, I could take the compressor and get it installed somewhere else. However, I had never seen the compressor, never received proof that it had been ordered, and never received any documentation for the part I paid close to $400 for. When I asked for proof or a receipt showing where the compressor was ordered from, I was told they "don't do that." He then seemed to get frustrated and told me that since I was going to get it fixed somewhere else, I needed to get the compressor from somewhere else. This was extremely unprofessional. My time was wasted multiple times, communication was poor, and the entire experience made me lose trust as a customer. I would not recommend this business.

As I was checking out, I had to ask for my receipt, and when I reviewed it after pulling off, I noticed I was owed $11 more in change. The total was actually $268. I went back to get the rest of my money, and while he did apologize and return it, the situation didn't sit right with me. If I hadn't double-checked the receipt, I would've unknowingly overpaid by $16. It feels like this wasn't an honest mistake, especially since I already gave a tip on top of what he tried to keep. I just want to warn others to double-check their totals and change before leaving. Customers deserve transparency and respect--not games with their money.
