Got a flat tire and rolled into the parking lot and Paul and his crew were so kind and professional. The car was supposed to to have a tool to unlock a lug nut which it did not, but after they fixed they gave us the tool to keep in our car for the future. So KIND! read more

We had a 9:30am appointment scheduled for 2 trailer tires to be replaced. We were then told to expect 1.5hr wait or longer. Came back to check 2hr later and they hadn't started, apparently our ticket "got stuck behind several others." Once they began, it took 30mins to complete. Will not return, don't have that kind of time. read more

Took car to Goodyear for oil change thinking they would do a better job than one of the quickie places. But guess what, they screwed it up royally. Got home, car was hemorrhaging oil. Caused by a twisted filter O-ring so they say. Took an hour to clean up the mess and correct it not counting time to drive there and back. $67 for a screwed up time consuming oil change fiasco. I'm glad I didn't take it in for something complicated. read more

Had an appointment for 2:00 it was 3:30 before I left. A hour and a half is really a long time for a oil change. Wanted them to add a quart and a half of oil stabilizer and they only put in the half bottle. This is lazy I could care less service and charging what they charge.. you shouldn't get lazy service. I won't go back and I recommend you stay away. read more

First they repaired a flat non-Goodyear tire for free. On my next visit with a flat, my tire could not be repaired so I decided to repair both of the rear tires on my 2019 Mercedes GLS550. I worked with the manager Chris Valles and he went out of his way to show me how much he appreciated me as his customer and met the best price I could find in the Charlotte/Gastonia area. Been going to the Lake Wylie location for a while now and never really impressed with this location. Only go because it's the closest to my home. Recently went back for a free break check (July 2017). Long story short they didn't tighten the lug nuts on my wheels fully and a month and several thousand miles later I was informed by a Goodyear location in FL that I was lucky to be alive!!! I now have 4 damaged alloys that the location puts down to 'Pot Holes' ?!?!?!? Currently having to dance the claim dance with Corporate for repairs - Please avoid this location at all costs!!!! read more

Do not use. After suspecting work not completed once before, I took another car in for oil change and tire rotation. I knew a back tire had a different valve cover than the other tires. After getting the car home, I noticed the different valve cover was still on the back. The tires had not been rotated. read more

I'm at Goodyear in lake Wylie SC arrived told Curtis Willis I needs an oil change and my driver side tail light bulb replaced. He said 2 hour wait. Ok fine I waited 2 hours the van finished checked the van found light was not replaced. Told him he got upset then had to wait another hour to have it fixed still at the counter waiting. He is very rude. I told him that he messed up he should just credit the bulb. And let me go. He told me I should have reminded him. I was like I told you when I got here and told you again when the truck pulled up to the door. read more

I went here for an oil change. I should have known by the fact that there wasn't anyone else waiting that this was not a good place. The waiting area was nice and clean, and they changed my oil in a timely manner, I was in and out within 50 minutes. However, the short, heavyset man and the counter is NOT pleasant at all. He makes it seem like it actually hurts to crack a smile. But whatever, I just needed my oil changed. I had been hearing horror stories about people going to get there oil changed, and the shops were not refilling the oil, only removing the old oil, which can cause major damage to the engine. Once I got home, I waited for a few hours to let the oil settle, then I went back outside to check my oil stick. It was below the minimum level! I actually had to put 2 quarts of oil in my engine just to bring it to the max fill line. I will never ever go here again. BEWARE! read more

I went here for the last 4+ years to get 3 vehicles serviced. I have had enough. They want you to make an appointment but when you get there, they do not really care if you have one. The last two times I went there I had an appointment and the first time I waited an hour before they got started on my vehicle. The next time was today. I arrive at 10:45 for an 11:00 appointment. The guy tells me they are behind. I said that was fine, I will go to Moe's and grab lunch. When I got back, my vehicle was still in the parking lot. So I waited. I noticed 2 other folks come in without an appointment after I was there and got their vehicle serviced and left and yet mine is still there in the parking lot. At 12:30, I had enough. I went and grabbed my keys and will not be back. I have spent a lot of money with these guys but if you don't appreciate my business, I will go somewhere else. If I could give no star I would. I hate dealing with this place. Less than 4 days after spending $470 for our check engine light problem it is now back on. I showed up Tuesday to make an appointment, they couldn't get me in until Thursday. I called them to see how long it would take they said a couple hours. Showed up for my appointment time and left. Told them I needed my truck for 1:3o to get my kids. They never looked at my damn truck! The very least you could do is was call me and say I'm sorry I can't get to you're truck today. Or said before I even dropped it off that You were too busy. Instead your manager gave me an attitude when I called you out on you're terrible business ethic. I paid you to fix the problem. It's still a problem so I'm pretty sure you should have made it a priority to look at it. Bad business. read more

Yesterday I made an online appointment for an oil change at this Lake Wylie SC store. The appointment was at 6pm. I left work early to ensure I would not be late. When I arrived early at 5:30ish the apathetic clerk acted annoyed that I was there and told me that there were 2 people in front of me and that he could get me started but would not be able to get it finished tonight. The store closes at 7:00. I did not mind waiting but it was obvious that my business was not wanted there and there was no effort on behalf of the staff. I cannot believe after making an appointment that it was suggested I would have to leave my car overnight for an oil change. This should be a 15 minute job and even with people in front of me it should not have been an issue to get done before the shop closed. I will definitely not be back to any of your stores after this treatment. read more

Horrific customer service. Had an appointment that I was told would take 1.5 hours. Came back after 2 hours and told they needed another 30 minute. When I mentioned 2.5 hours instead of 1.5 the Manager said "Yup" without even looking at me. I have tried and tried using this store but every time it gets worse. Never, Never, Never going back. Avoid this place like the plague. Don't assume because they are hired by Goodyear that their advice of knowledge is worth taking. They don't know much and are hacks with an impact wrench is all. If you don't have much knowledge about cars try an online tech they charge about $12-$15 an hour and you will get a better understanding or your problem, do research online etc. If you go to Goodyear the car you drive everyday that gets you from A to B will need a complete overhaul and a laundry list of issues. All they care about is up selling and ripping off the consumer. You would'd believe the things I have heard the counter salesmen tell customers and the required services they recommend. I just needed to have a tire mounted and they took the wrong one off and tossed it into the dumpster, when the guy drove my car around I looked at the tire I wanted replaced and saw he put it on another rim he had to fetch the tire out of the dumpster and start all over again. During that time I had the pleasure of hearing the insane sales pitches to other customers waiting in the lobby. read more
