    If you have a beater and you don't care about nicks and scratches after replacing your tires, this is the place to go. The staff is friendly and willing to help, but recently I had a bad experience that I will never visit this place again. I replaced two tires on my car and the mechanic scratched and damaged both wheels. They also stained the door handle and interior upholstery with grease. This is very disappointing because after all the effort taking care of my car, a careless mechanic ruins it in a matter of seconds. I would avoid this place if you are meticulous with your car.

    Horrible. 2.5 hours to get my car inspected. Employees wandering around aimlessly. Very unprofessional.

Fast forward to today. My husband ran over something large and hard at 70 mph. Hit was so hard it popped the needle off of the speedometer in the dash. Managed to get it into see Joshua. Wasn't good news but he gave me 2 options. First was the minimum that needed to be done. Second was an additional item that really should be done. All said and done, more than I wanted to spend but I still feel he was very fair in his pricing. Been driving the van for a few days now and am very happy with the results. Plus, I have the peace of mind knowing I won't be chewing up my tires every few thousand miles. Just as a side note. I did research Cortez Car Care and discovered something amazing. They have been members of the BBB for 23 yrs this year and have not had one single complaint lodged against them in all that time. In any auto related field, especially repair/maintenance, that is a record to be very proud of. Just tells me that they are doing things right and have customer satisfaction very high on their priority list.

They are professional, keep you informed every step of the way, do great work, for a fair price, stand behind their work, and most of all are honest. I have spoken with the owner more than once, as it is family owned, and he is usually there. But one time that I spoke with him that stood out to me that they were different. My stepson's power steering stopped working. I called and I was about to have it towed in as it was parked at a restaurant. The owner got on the phone with me and asked me what year and model the car was. I told him, he asked me if the car had driven through any heavy puddles. I told him it had been raining, so I assumed so. He told me that model is notorious for the sensors getting wet and causing issues with the rack and pinion steering. He said, let it sit for a couple hours and dry out a bit. It should resolve the problem, and it did. He didn't have to tell me that. He could've let me have it towed in and just let it sit and dry and tell me he fixed it and taken me for a ride, but he didn't. That's honesty. I highly recommend this place to all my friends and family, and to anyone else who reads this review.

I've used them a couple of times because I've liked the ones in Dallas so well. It seems like every time I take my car here there is a new problem. The last time I took my car there, the car began to have a new problem immediately. This time, I took it to a new mechanic. He said the last people who worked on my car damaged it. They cut corners. In the process of taking my car apart they broke an eight dollar part and didn't replace it. Because I drove my car with the broken part, I bent the CV axle resulting in a $460 repair. I was just happy my wheel didn't come off on the highway. Not wanting to get into a, he said/she said between the two mechanics I didn't even bother reporting the problem. I won't take my car back there. Why pay premium prices if you are not getting premium service? Why give them another chance to damage my car? Would I use Christian Brothers again? Not the one in Beaumont. I am not sure about the others even though I have been happy with them. - How am I to know when a new owner takes over one I have been happy with and starts cutting corners? - What happens when THEY no longer stand behind their work?

They did…read morea series of repairs for about half what a rival mechanic shop in town verbally quoted me, and unlike the other mechanic were happy to give me a written estimate in advance. Then when another issue popped up within a day of collecting the car, they decided to fix the additional problems (which were not caused by them, but they'd missed in their initial inspection) for free--no additional cost to me. They were also happy to drive me home from the mechanic shop when I dropped the car off, and later pick me up and bring me back to collect my car. Excellent, friendly service. Highly recommend.

    Customer service needs serious improvement…read more While the vehicle itself is great, the customer service experience was disappointing. Tyler Ramirez was quick and helpful in some areas, but came across as overly aggressive when explaining the total cost. His tone felt more confrontational than helpful. Courtney in the finance department started off great, but when we politely declined certain warranties due to cost concerns, her demeanor shifted dramatically. She responded with an attitude and unprofessional comments, saying things like: "I don't see why you would want to go without a... warranty." This was said in a rude, dismissive tone, despite us being polite and simply asking reasonable questions. Additional issues: We were never provided with our financing paperwork at the time of purchase. We were told it would be emailed, but it's now been two days with nothing received. Attempts to contact the finance department have been unsuccessful. When we brought up our concern about misaligned or uneven headlights, we were told all vehicles come that way because they're "human made," which felt like a dismissive excuse rather than a proper explanation. After experiences with several other dealerships, this one unfortunately ranks at the bottom in terms of professionalism and service. I would not recommend this location and would rather work with a different Toyota dealership in the future.

Left the car for two days for these services to be completed. When I picked up the car, odor was only thing resolved. Car had not been cleaned and dent not addressed. Service rep stated they had no information about the dent but could have easily repaired if they had known. I could not leave the car longer due to the fact that I live out of state and had to return home. The salesman Jon Fortenbury stated the spare tire installation kit could not be obtained that quickly but that he would have it done at a dealership in my home state. We continued to have ongoing texts regarding the status of this over 3 months each time he stated it was on its way. Finally I called the sales manager Norman. He informed me that Jon was no longer with the company but that he would look into this and call back. I have now left two more phone messages for him that n a weekly basis with no response. I only gave two stars because the service department was exceptionally professional. I do not recommend buying from the dealership as they do not stand by their agreements and avoid customer service follow ups.

    I have used this business for the last 20 years and today was my last visit…read more Last time I was at the shop the owner short with me. I asked them to check the fluid in the differential and he told me they did. I was watching and the mechanic didn't pull a single wrench on the diff. So I decide to try again with another vehicle of mine today @ 2:30/2:45pm. I pulled in, he asked me was I there for. When I told him coolant flush he laughed and said not on a Saturday at 4: 0clock. IT was 2:30pm. He asked me to pop the hood. He made a statement someone been working on this vehicle. I told him it was me. He told me what was loose. I wasn't there for that and didn't ask him about it. He Bryan(owner) I think is his name. Proceeded to tell me how he couldn't do the job. He was rude about it. I told him close it up. He was still talking to me for some reason. At this point I wasn't going to expose myself to his attitude anymore. I guess when you own a successful business you can turn people away. I would like to mention I emailed prior to showing up. The fact that I did not get an email reply makes it worse. So your business model is laugh at a customer infront of people then tear appart how shitty of a job the vehicles owner did trying to repair it? This isn't the first time or second time the owners be short with me and my questions. I wont be back.
