I used trash bags and then weighed them. The driver called me the day of and gave me a window of time and came directly to my 8th floor apartment door with a giant, rolling bin to pickup my four bags. He is the hero of this story. When the cleaners had questions, he called me. Then we picked a time for him to drop-off based on my schedule. My clothes came back in clear, plastic bags all folded and yes, smelled clean. I could track everything in the app and the receipt was sent to me via email with the breakdown. My weight (of clothes) matched theirs and I was not surprised by the bill. I asked the lady kindly if she can merge my cards together and she gave a nasty attitude and kept sucking her teeth and rolling her eyes while trying to merge the cards. She answered all my questions in detail as I was ready to go from there. I needed same day wash and fold service and booking was very easy. They arrived and returned clothes when they said they would and clothes were neatly folded, smelled amazing and I was extremely happy with my experience from beginning to end. This review is solely based on their alterations. I have a special occasion dress I needed shortened. It's a silk long gown. The lady had me try it on and she pinned it accordingly to where I wanted it. Simple. Took 1 minute. It took much longer for me to get in to the dress than her to pin it for measurement, but we aren't going there... (Obviously a personal issue, ha!). The fitting room could be better. It's just a drywall wall separating the main reception area. She put a curtain rod to the back part of the space for what I presume would be privacy; however, there's a set of windows located on the partition wall from the main waiting area that wasn't covered. I mean, if you get changed in the corner by the door, it's not an issue, but surely doesn't prohibit from someone walking up to the window from the main lobby and peaking in. They may want to consider a curtain for that part as well!! I mean, c'mon! Anyways. I came in on a Monday after 4pm and it was ready for me Friday morning. She cut 7.5 inches off and charged $35. That's good, right? I mean for silk and that much material? I think so... When I tried it on the length was PERFECT! In addition, there was a small mark towards the bottom of the dress when I gave it to her; Upon return it was gone. Well that was a nice touch! Attention to detail, quick and friendly service with what I believe is a good price on special occasion alterations. I think I'll head back and try some pieces for dry cleaning... Great job!
