In my opinion, they have Better items than other Thrift stores and much more fairer prices than a Goodwill. Wifey and I both picked up several items ranging from $1.77 - $3.77 and they were brand new or like new. They also have antiques. There were things priced well enough I wished I meeded them, but I didn't. Wifey told me so. She told me to look for games and I found her a brand new one. She found me a black and red plaid ballcap that perfectly matches a winter jacket I almost wore that very day. I haven't wore it probable in a year, but now have the hat for it. We had fun at the Mustard Seed.

I didn't catch the cat's name when I was there, but Vintage Shop Kitty is super friendly and seemed to be receptive to pets. Besides cats, this place also has some really cool clothes -- all of them old, and all of them carefully curated and thoughtfully chosen. I can tell when a vintage clothing store has done its due diligence when I flip through the racks and I want to buy more than a few things. I was THIS close to buying a Western pearl snap shirt, but really: how many pearl snap shirts does a girl need? Regretfully, I put the shirt back on the rack. Hopefully, some other savvy person snapped it up. The Odd Shop has a lot of clothing, but it has just as much vintage toys, records, ephemera and trinkets for sale. Walking into the store is like walking into your (or probably my) childhood, because there are so many things from the 1980s and 90s for sale. So many Smurfs dolls! Mickey Mouse roller skates! This particular store is very organized and labeled clearly. All items are fairly organized and staff are pretty helpful if you need anything. There is a decent selection of clothing and various knick knacks located throughout. The book selection here was decent. There is also a huge selection of old cds and VHS videos. The checkout stand is towards the front of the store and there are usually two cashiers available. Overall, this was a great visit. I walked away with a handful of goodies without breaking the bank. Next time I'm in the area I'll be sure to stop by and see what other treasures I may stumble upon.

This store has a lot of male energy to it -- it's mostly clothing that's related to sports, music, colleges and pop culture. Lots of graphic tees, windbreakers with university logos, some streetwear, rows of denim. You will not find dresses or feminine things. I found a few things that I would have loved to take home if they weren't so big on me. That's the thing with 812 Vintage: it's mostly for adults, or kids who are as big as adults. I didn't see little-kid clothes here. The prices are about what you'd expect for a vintage store like this, although I did see some stuff on sale. I had to tell my kid a couple of times that no, we would not be spending $115 on a t-shirt. But you're paying for quality here, because the clothing has been curated and well-taken-care-of, so you're not pawing through racks of old clothes that are missing buttons, visually stained, olfactorily displeasing or should have been tossed. We have dropped donation items off at this location several times in the past few years and…read moreappreciate how easy it is, as well as the mission of this business. There are several locations, and this one is located in the Hamburg area near Tractor Supply as a landmark. The drop off is on the right hand side of the building and can pull up and employees will collect the donated goods. They have signage directing where to enter the single drop off lane. There are also posted signs listing what can and cannot be donated. Staff are polite and helpful. I have not been inside the building or made a purchase to this point, so I cannot comment on that aspect of this business. I do know that the mission statement has been to sell donated items and then to utilize those funds to assist victims of abuse, which has our support 100%. (Side note: I also choose to donate here rather than at another specific well known charitable drop-off site which has high prices and high administrative costs, resulting in less funds going to the people it claims to serve.)
